Seward Park Family Dental is a great little dental office in Seattle. I drive all the way from…read moreBellingham just to go here for their great service. The office is also only about 8 minutes from the ID, so it's also a perfect excuse for me to swing by Uwajimaya for my favorite groceries and try out local restaurants for a meal afterwards. I recently went in for my first cleaning in two years and to be honest, it was probably the most dirty my teeth have ever been! I was worried I'd be judged for my recently poor dental health (I was traveling overseas for the past year in countries where I couldn't drink tap water to clean my teeth), but they didn't make me feel bad about it at all. I left feeling very positive and hopeful that I can take better care of my teeth. Dr. Nartea has a very gentle hand which makes going to the dentist a lot less scary. I will likely be getting some preventative care to avoid some cavities this next year and I'm not even worried as I know I'll be well taken care of by Dr. Nartea and the Seward Park Family Dental team!

She assured her that she will be there the entire time and to let her know if anything felt uncomfortable. Dr. Lin did the filling and he was gentle as ever. No numbing or local anesthesia needed! My daughter said her bite felt a little funny afterwards and he listened and filed it down to make sure everything was flush. We were in and out within 20 minutes. SPFD has been our family dentist for over 9 years and we will continue to go here even though we now live 45 minutes out!

I recently had a horrible crown procedure at this clinic where the doctor could not effectively…read morenumb the area of the tooth. At the first appointment, it took multiple (5-6) injections - never had that many before. I experienced discomfort and pain for about a week after this first appointment, which I heard is abnormal for this sort of procedure. Then when the doctor could not successfully apply local anesthesia, yet again, at the crown fitting, he just went ahead with the procedure even after I told him and his assistant multiple times that I still felt pain. While anesthesia is not always required for this procedure, I specifically shared with the team that I wanted to be numbed due to my pain tolerance and teeth sensitivity. When I kept squirming in the chair and groaning, the doctor remarked, "Oh, you really feel the pain?" as if I'd been faking it all along. After this experience, my partner and I decided to look for a new dentist - someone who actually cares about his patients.

That other dental office changed management and suddenly was recommending several treatments and they were very intense about it. I decided to get a second opinion and was so glad I did. It turns out that I didn't need any fillings. I eventually moved to West Seattle and continued coming here just because they always did such a great job! The appointments were scheduled to be quick and efficient, but not rushed. Also, everyone was just so friendly and knowledgable. I unfortunately moved out of state, and just went to a new dentist here. Comparing experiences led me to want to give this review. I wish all dental offices were as great as this one! I'm going to miss this place now that I've moved :-(

Or possibly because I've had no teeth issues in the last few years. Meghan has an amazing bedside manner and seems to remember me every time I go in. She either has an amazing memory, or they take notes on our conversations. Either way she's so warm and friendly it's really a joy to visit - which is something I can't believe I'm saying about a dentist. As well as Meghan, I've had two different dental hygienists since I started to visit. Both have been great and seem to exude kindness. Everybody at this place is so damn nice! Columbia City Dental used to be my local dentist, I've since moved halfway across the city. I still make the drive as I don't think I could find a better place to go.

Friendly, affordable, modern, confident, compassionate, clean, professional!…read more I recently started searching for a new dentist after moving to the area. I was looking for a one-stop location that focuses on routine dental care, as well as able to provide Invisalign treatment and dental implants, etc all in house. After being bounced around and referred to and from different locations that advertised they offered these all-in-one services onsite - I found this to be untrue, until I discovered Green Lead Dental. My experiences with Green Leaf Dental is 10/10 - and I don't mean that lightly. They were able to get me scheduled for an appointment within 24 hours. The staff is so friendly and knowledgeable, but also articulate and support options for what dental plans are available and provided a clear path to the end goal. I am confident and comfortable saying I've found my new long term dental practice here at Green Leaf Dental.
