My only complaint would be, the Plano location closed down a while ago and it's a little bit of a drive to the Lakewood location. However, it's in a great spot in a lovely shopping plaza and easy to navigate to. The Lakewood location has flexible hours so you can fit in a quick session into your day!

That is how I found Pastel. She is as cute as her name. When I sat in her chair and told her my dilemma about my hair color and trying to get my hair healthy, it was like she spoke "Kristie". She summed up what I wanted and offered her solutions. She really listened and made sure we were both on the same page. Having a bad hair day can be traumatic, and trusting a new person to not EFF it up comes with some nervousness, but I was so comfortable trusting Pastel. From appointment scheduling to the front desk and my esthetician, everyone I interacted with was exceptionally poised and helpful. I booked a complete brow makeover (waxing, tinting, and lamination), but honestly, the results weren't for me. The shaping wasn't quite to my liking, and my brows looked almost the same as when I came in, minus some slight irritation from the waxing. But here's the true measure of a standout business: even though I didn't love the results, I loved the experience. My esthetician, Evelin, was careful and intentional with every step. She explained what she was doing, highlighted the benefits, provided a weighted blanket, and made sure everything was safe and sanitized between products. So while I probably won't come back for brows, I would absolutely return for a facial--especially since that seems to be their real specialty.
