My daughter was beyond ready for kindergarten. She learned all her letters, numbers, sight words and left so confident. The environment staff created for all the little ones was so safe and perfect for learning. Kiddos are split by age and have enough staff to care for the entire group. Every day they have crafts and activities related to the theme of what they are learning about that week. They have events for holidays and invite the families regularly (Mother's Day, Father's Day, family picnics, Christmas concerts). In the summer they follow a summer program with fun activities to keep the kids entertained and engaged. They get three meals a day and nap. They only close for a few holidays so working parents don't have to scramble to figure out where to take the kiddos. I cant say enough good things about this school. I am so grateful that we became part of this family. Rest assured that this school is going to check all your boxes when looking for daycare or to get your kiddo started on a school routine. We had come from another daycare with shorter hours, less staff and more pricey (the cost was just the cherry on top).

I saw major improvement in her communication within a couple months as well as being potty trained! Such a huge help for us working parents. I appreciate how much effort they put into making it fun for the kids, whether it's spirit week or a holiday, they make it so special. My favorite part is the app they use, they add photos and videos throughout the day and it really put me at ease. I definitely recommend this place, I always felt they genuinely cared for my girl

My two daughters have been properly cared for & definitely have a special relationship with each teacher and staff member. Special shoutout to Ms. Cassy & Ms. Karen! I toured many facilities, but I was especially impressed when I toured CS because you could tell that they were very well organized and professional, hitting every point without me having to ask many questions. Top three aspects that makes me recommend Cornerstone, is the curriculum structure, the cleanliness and the safety. My kids have both been sick maybe once or twice which is amazing compared to their old school(s). The property is always secured/locked & communication between staff and parent is amazing! Thank you cornerstone for giving my daughter's the best experience.

It's clear that they truly love what they do and care deeply about each child's growth and well-being. The teachers create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where our kids feel comfortable, confident, and excited to learn. We've seen so much growth in both of our kids--socially, emotionally, and academically--and it's been amazing to watch them develop new skills and independence. Communication with parents is excellent, and we always feel informed and reassured knowing our children are in a safe, secure environment. We are so grateful for the positive foundation they are helping build for our kids. We highly recommend Cornerstone Preschool to any family looking for a loving, supportive, and high-quality preschool experience. I definitely feel I chose the BEST preschool for my kids and I feel at peace knowing they're happy.

We viewed a few places and decided to hold off because none of them seemed like the right fit. We started looking again closer to her first birthday and found CLIC. Mrs Alexis was super responsive and offered for us to come take a tour. As soon as we stepped inside, I immediately had a sigh of relief. My daughter was playing and even felt comfortable letting Mrs Alexis hold her. She didn't rush us through the tour and answered every question we had. As soon as we left, my husband and I both looked at each other and felt this is it. When we drop her off now, it feels like leaving her with family. I know she's safe, taken care of and learning a lot! She is and has always been a contact napper. The fact that they were able to get her to sleep in a play pen on her own says a lot!

Most importantly, the students enrolled are diverse in every sense, yet they are all welcomed with the same loving smiles. We are really grateful we were able to enroll our daughter with Clic Montessori.

As an August baby, he will always be one of the youngest or oldest in his grade, and we kept running into schools--both public and private--that wanted to place him in TK rather than kindergarten. Whittier Friends School gave us another option. He gets to learn and grow at the pace that is right for him, in a wholesome environment that emphasizes fairness, individual growth, and community. What has impressed me most is the people. The teachers are incredibly caring and attentive, and the parent community is genuinely involved in the life of the school. It feels like a place where families know one another and adults truly know the children they're teaching. I'm so grateful we found WFS.

The way the teachers pour their knowledge, love, and kindness into the kids is a Godsend! Our son can't wait to go to school the next day! It brings us so much joy knowing that he is excelling at such a high rate. They are a nurturing school, with all female teachers. We never felt nervous about leaving our 6 month old here. It was truly a relief finding a day care that my child could grow through. My sisters brought their kids here and they referred us to lad and lassie. Ms Doris, Mr Frank and Ms Maggie in the office were all very professional and very communicative. Throughout the year, they have events for the kids to participate in. It's really a great place to take your child and I am glad we did. The price we paid was totally fair for what they offer. You really can't beat the quality eduction you get. Your child will be taught how to use the potty at 1.5 yrs old and they request your support at home. Additionally, your child will come out smarter than just being at home all day until hes old enough to go to school.

I previously left a positive review of Lad N Lassie. My daughter had a great experience. My son,…read morewho started there as an infant, was doing well too. Unfortunately, that changed as he got older. My son was later diagnosed with autism. We repeatedly raised concerns and asked for reasonable accommodations so he could be included with children his age. He also had outside ABA support at the preschool, provided by his insurance. We tried to work with the facility, but ultimately there was no meaningful plan to accommodate him, and we withdrew him in March 2026. We withdrew him because he was not being included with his same-age peers. He was not advanced with his same-age peers because he was not potty trained, despite having success at home and us repeatedly asking the facility to support his potty training there. We also discovered he was being isolated from the younger peers in his class. They usually had him sitting at a table alone. When his behavior technician was there, the BT would sit with him or offer him a seat with the other children. After we left, Community Care Licensing investigated and substantiated two allegations related to his experience, finding that the facility did not meet his potty training needs and had isolated him from his peers. This resulted in two Type B citations. After we withdrew him, he was potty trained within two weeks. I want to be clear that my concerns are with ownership and administration, not the teachers. During our final meeting, ownership stated that even if he moved to the 3-year-old room, he would be his own table. The teachers were kind and did their best with what they were given. There are other citations on the facility's record that I can't personally speak to, but I encourage parents to look at its licensing history. I especially want parents with infants and toddlers to understand why I'm updating my review. When you enroll a baby in daycare, you have no idea whether they'll later be diagnosed with autism or another disability. These are the years when many families are just finding out. I hope ownership takes this seriously and makes changes. Staff should have the training and support to include children with disabilities without parents having to fight for reasonable accommodations or file complaints to get problems addressed.

When concerns are raised, communication is handled in a dismissive manner rather than through collaboration or dialogue. Parent input is acknowledged superficially, key points are bypassed, and agreements made at the classroom level are not upheld at the executive level. After receiving an assessment that did not accurately reflect our child's abilities (completed less than two months into enrollment), we raised concerns about the lack of context, narrative, and communication. The teachers acknowledged the assessment was not an accurate reflection of her capabilities and agreed it should be updated to reflect her short acclimation period and current capabilities. However, when this was escalated to the Executive Director, those agreements were disregarded. Rather than updating the assessment as discussed, leadership insisted on singling out a child instead of correcting an administrative misstep. Requests to simply revise the original assessment with accurate context were dismissed. When we expressed concern about the long-term academic implications of having an inaccurate student record, we were dismissed. The Executive Director superficially acknowledged our concerns, and reasonable requests were met with inflexibility rather than problem-solving. A school's culture is shaped from the top. If families are leaving, leadership may want to reflect on how parent advocacy is received and addressed.
