Montessori of Brea has been an enriching, amazing, and wonderful learning experience for our three…read moredaughters. As a former Montessori student, this school stays true to the Montessori method of teaching. There are plenty of hands-on learning materials that are age appropriate from 2 years old in preschool to 7 years old in K-1. The kids are able to learn at their own pace and enjoy an environment of collaborative play and learning. Every child of mine who entered preschool had their initial episodes of tears and crying in the first few months. But the teachers at Montessori of Brea are so kind with their loving voices, gentle nudges, and guided redirection to help the children focus on their learning and forget about the separation from parents. Ms. Kim was our preschool teacher for our first 2 daughters and is currently teaching our 3 year old. Our whole family LOVES Ms. Kim! When my two older grade school kids come to pick up our baby, they ALWAYS have to come to give Ms. Kim a hug! She is caring, loving, and has great communication with parents at drop off and/or pick up. There are a total of 4 teachers for the classroom, but I'm amazed at Ms. Kim's organization and memory having to be the primary teacher of 28+ kids and knowing each child's ability. I can barely handle remembering my 3! Ms. Dana was our most recent K-1 teacher and she is just as great! Her lessons helped prepare my daughter for school outside of Montessori. Her open communication and constant use of technology helped prepare us for future apps used in grade school. Ms. Dana was very active in providing updates, even sending pictures to all the class parents of special events and personal messages for individual achievements! With the help of ALL the teachers at Montessori of Brea, our oldest daughter got into GATE (Gifted & Talented Education) and is excelling. Our second daughter is reading three grade levels above her current grade and is thriving at her new school thanks to the teachers and Montessori of Brea. I can only give my highest recommendation for this place! I tell all my neighbors and friends in the area about Montessori of Brea because it has helped our children succeed in and out of the classroom.

I grew up attending Montessori schools and my mother is a Montessori teacher, so I know what to look for. After observing different schools in the area and speaking in-depth with the staff, I felt MoB was truly the best place for my brilliant children. The environment and teacher credentials are all authentic, and the classrooms reminded me of my own childhood Montessori schools. If you take a tour, you will observe busy children enthusiastically working with a level of focus you do not see in traditional preschools/kindergartens. The education is top quality, and the staff friendly, patient, and extremely knowledgeable in child development. Three of my children graduated from MoB, with my youngest being the most recent graduate. They were under the exceptional guidance of Ms. Tess (lead teacher and also a music scholar), Ms. Padmini, Ms. Cindy, Ms. Dana, Mr. Vargas, and Ms. Nayna. We are so grateful for their contribution to our children's development. Every one my kids graduated from MoB with high-level reading and math skills, a love for science, strong musical knowledge, a love and respect for nature and the Earth, as well as high self-confidence and independence. My oldest children, now 12 and 10, are in GATE (Gifted and Talented Education program) in the public school system, and continue to excel. I have no doubt my youngest, who recently graduated from MoB, will also qualify for the GATE program. I credit Montessori of Brea for bringing out my children's full potential--they care about the mental, physical, social, emotional, AND academic wellbeing of the child. My kids loved all the hands-on learning at Montessori of Brea, and had so much fun over the years--we go back regularly to visit Ms. Ali and all the lovely teachers and support staff, as we consider them family. P.S. My children attended from age 2 to age 6; best decision ever.

She is incredibly hands-on, always ready to assist in any classroom that needs support. She is protective, kind, caring with every child, and exceptionally patient. I also want to give honorable mentions to Ms. Katrina and Ms. Jasmine, two outstanding teachers who help my son feel safe while making learning fun every single day. Before attending this school, my son struggled with eating independently and socializing. Now, he is so much more confident -- he eats on his own, uses more words to express what he wants, and is far more open to making friends. The growth we've seen has been incredible. I remember reading some negative reviews before enrolling him and feeling skeptical. However, after our experience, I can confidently say they do not reflect the environment we have encountered. I am genuinely so happy to share such a positive review. If you're having second thoughts or feel unsure, I encourage you to give this school a chance and see the difference for yourself. Watching your child grow and thrive here is something you won't regret.

My daughter has struggled with self-regulation issues in the past and has often been dismissed or labeled as "challenging," but the staff here has been incredible. Without this school, I honestly don't know where I'd be as a working mom. The staff is amazing -- so supportive, attentive, and proactive -- and they keep my daughter engaged, happy, and thriving. I can't recommend Keystone Montessori highly enough!

A very special thank you to Ms. A. The preparation and foundation she gave Markus has been undeniable. After transitioning to public school, we quickly realized just how well prepared he was. He was assessed above his current grade level, and his teachers have been genuinely surprised and impressed by where he is academically. As parents, it's been really rewarding to see the impact that his years at Primanti have had on him. We know that so much of his confidence, love of learning, and academic readiness came from the foundation he received there. Thank you to Ms. Peralta, Ms. A, and all of the teachers who have been part of Markus's journey. We will always be grateful for the role Primanti played in his early education.

We've been part of the Primanti family since my oldest daughter was 2 1/2 years old, and she's now 9. We later enrolled our youngest daughter as well. From the height of the pandemic to today, Primanti and its teachers have been such an important part of our daughters' growth. Over the years, these teachers have helped cultivate their developmental skills, build their confidence, and further their education. I've even spoken with parents who, for various reasons, moved their children to other schools and later shared that the educational material and homework simply did not compare to what their children received at Primanti. What I appreciate most is that these teachers genuinely care about these kids and their development. When they bring a concern to a parent or let us know that our child may not be excelling in a particular area, they aren't doing it to criticize our parenting or our children. They're doing their job, and more importantly, they want our kids to succeed. As parents, I believe we have a responsibility to work alongside their teachers. Education and development can't fall entirely on the school. We have to reinforce at home the lessons, expectations, and behaviors that help our children grow into people who positively impact those around them. Teachers are an important part of the foundation that helps prepare our kids for their future. I am truly thankful that we chose to enroll both of our daughters at Primanti. The teachers here care for these kids as though they are an extension of their own families. That becomes especially clear when a longtime teacher retires or moves on to another chapter in life. It's bittersweet because you see just how attached the children have become to the people who have taught, encouraged, cared for, and watched them grow. For many families, these teachers are with our children Monday through Friday, sometimes from early morning drop-off until late afternoon pickup. They become important figures in their lives, and I don't take that for granted. Would I recommend this Primanti location to another family? Absolutely, without hesitation. We've trusted them with both of our daughters for years, and I'm genuinely thankful for the education, care, patience, and dedication they have shown our family.

Thanks to the loving team, our daughter always felt safe, cherished, and eager to head to school every day. She couldn't wait to give morning hugs to her teachers, Miss Dianna and Mrs Rekha. She truly blossomed under Miss Dianna's gentle guidance, energetic enthusiasm, and deep dedication. By Kindergarten, she mastered her math concepts and built an incredible foundation for learning. My daughter still talks about the country unit studies over the years and wants to visit and experience Japan's cherry blossoms and Paris' Mona Lisa. We still keep in touch with Miss Dianna, and she was even so sweet to FaceTime my daughter to calm her nerves during her first days of kindergarten. Mrs Rekha is a ray of sunshine, supportive, kind-hearted, and a favorite among the students. The directors, Mrs Tabitha and Mrs Amy, are always welcoming and communicative. They keep the school running seamlessly. What sets LiMai apart from others is its language and cultural immersion. For pre-school classes, your child can learn Mandarin, Korean, or Spanish. Tip: There's usually a long waitlist for Mandarin, so make sure to add your kid early and keep checking in with the staff. There are also add-on enrichment classes like piano, dance, and soccer. (LMA outsources to other companies, and they teach on campus.) My daughter always looked forward to her Dancing in Harmony dance classes with Miss Amber and performing at their dance recitals. Bonus: Your kid can opt in for freshly cooked Asian lunch meals like curry, soba, and japchae. I always smelled something delicious cooking at morning drop-off. There are always fun activities happening at the school too. From Trunk-or-Treat to Mother's and Father's Day events, to Water Play Day to Baby Prom--it makes it an enjoyable place for kids to play and for families to engage with others. We still hang out with the same group of friends/families we've met at LMA. We miss the teachers, staff, and school. We still come back to visit and are always greeted with warm hugs. We highly recommend LMA!

I reached out to La Habra Montessori after doing research with La Habra moms groups and recommendations based on their child care in the area. I have a 18 month old and am currently pregnant, looking for enrollment for both my children in the future. We've reached out to multiple facilities and been given multiple tours based on our enrollment timeframe and had no issues until this facility. The first issue we ran into was the way we received our first email response. Despite my email to the "Director" being signed as my first and last name, the response I received was addressed to a Ms. (Maiden name). Confused, I responded, and clarified, both mine and my husband's name as well as our intent to tour their facility still. The response I received was again addressed as Ms. (maiden name). At this point it feels disrespectful, since I've now addressed what my name is twice and the response we're received hasn't reflected that knowledge. Curious to how (and why) the "Director" is addressing me this way I decided to just ask where they got that name from. Apparently my email icon shows my maiden name, unknown to my knowledge till this point (and never having this issue before). My issue is the lack of respect in addressing a potential client as the signed (and clarified) name, on not one but multiple response threads. There was a point when it seemed intentional in speaking down to me. Additionally to this, the response we received for our actual tour inquiry was to essentially "come back later". So we were declined a tour based on the timeframe of when we were hoping to start enrollment. No matter what our timeline is, we have questions that have now gone unanswered. Is this facility one that we're going to consider when the time comes? Likely not. It would have been nice to have our questions answered, meet the staff, and see the facility so we can narrow down our choices when the time comes to decide one of the most important choices of who to place your children in care with. Very unfortunate considering how close we are to this facility and the convenience it would have been for our family. Just based on this limited experience unfortunately our family cannot recommend reaching out.

I received a flyer in the mail, called to make and appointment, and Ms. Enoka was able to provide me a tour, tuition rates, and the philosophy of how they teach and care for children very clearly within 30 minutes. It was very easy to make the decision to have my daughter come to school here. So many experiences have affirmed our decision to be a part of this community. Here are the top 5. 1. Potty training has been a long journey for my daughter. Ms. Anayeli (when my daughter was 3) and Ms. Rehani (when my daughter was 4) were so communicative about troubleshooting with me when we couldn't figure out how to get her to stop having accidents. We discussed factors that could be contributing to her accidents and they shared with me what they were doing at school so I could continue at home and vice versa. 2. My daughter's social development accelerated when she started at this school. I attribute this to the open play they have in the afternoon. Kids of different ages are able to play outdoors on the grassy area and play structure while supervised by the teachers. During this time, my daughter was able make sense of what it meant to be a friend. 3. Teachers clearly communicate with the children right from wrong. My daughter has a strong sense of what is right and can communicate it with me because her teachers model it for her everyday. She is at school on most weekdays from 6:45am to 4:30pm so a lot of what she learns comes from school. 4. The parent teacher conferences were especially helpful in enabling me to find supplemental activities that I used to continue my child's learning at home. They used the Montessori framework to provide feedback which showed me what to prioritize next. 5. Ms. Enoka has been extremely responsive to any administrative needs like helping me fill out paperwork and providing documents for tax season. I've never had to wait longer than 24 hours for anything I needed. I am so grateful that my daughter got to experience this school. She has learned so much. On top of that, the Ms. Enoka and the teachers have shown up as educational partners as I raise my daughter!
