Montessori of Brea has been an enriching, amazing, and wonderful learning experience for our three…read moredaughters. As a former Montessori student, this school stays true to the Montessori method of teaching. There are plenty of hands-on learning materials that are age appropriate from 2 years old in preschool to 7 years old in K-1. The kids are able to learn at their own pace and enjoy an environment of collaborative play and learning. Every child of mine who entered preschool had their initial episodes of tears and crying in the first few months. But the teachers at Montessori of Brea are so kind with their loving voices, gentle nudges, and guided redirection to help the children focus on their learning and forget about the separation from parents. Ms. Kim was our preschool teacher for our first 2 daughters and is currently teaching our 3 year old. Our whole family LOVES Ms. Kim! When my two older grade school kids come to pick up our baby, they ALWAYS have to come to give Ms. Kim a hug! She is caring, loving, and has great communication with parents at drop off and/or pick up. There are a total of 4 teachers for the classroom, but I'm amazed at Ms. Kim's organization and memory having to be the primary teacher of 28+ kids and knowing each child's ability. I can barely handle remembering my 3! Ms. Dana was our most recent K-1 teacher and she is just as great! Her lessons helped prepare my daughter for school outside of Montessori. Her open communication and constant use of technology helped prepare us for future apps used in grade school. Ms. Dana was very active in providing updates, even sending pictures to all the class parents of special events and personal messages for individual achievements! With the help of ALL the teachers at Montessori of Brea, our oldest daughter got into GATE (Gifted & Talented Education) and is excelling. Our second daughter is reading three grade levels above her current grade and is thriving at her new school thanks to the teachers and Montessori of Brea. I can only give my highest recommendation for this place! I tell all my neighbors and friends in the area about Montessori of Brea because it has helped our children succeed in and out of the classroom.

I grew up attending Montessori schools and my mother is a Montessori teacher, so I know what to look for. After observing different schools in the area and speaking in-depth with the staff, I felt MoB was truly the best place for my brilliant children. The environment and teacher credentials are all authentic, and the classrooms reminded me of my own childhood Montessori schools. If you take a tour, you will observe busy children enthusiastically working with a level of focus you do not see in traditional preschools/kindergartens. The education is top quality, and the staff friendly, patient, and extremely knowledgeable in child development. Three of my children graduated from MoB, with my youngest being the most recent graduate. They were under the exceptional guidance of Ms. Tess (lead teacher and also a music scholar), Ms. Padmini, Ms. Cindy, Ms. Dana, Mr. Vargas, and Ms. Nayna. We are so grateful for their contribution to our children's development. Every one my kids graduated from MoB with high-level reading and math skills, a love for science, strong musical knowledge, a love and respect for nature and the Earth, as well as high self-confidence and independence. My oldest children, now 12 and 10, are in GATE (Gifted and Talented Education program) in the public school system, and continue to excel. I have no doubt my youngest, who recently graduated from MoB, will also qualify for the GATE program. I credit Montessori of Brea for bringing out my children's full potential--they care about the mental, physical, social, emotional, AND academic wellbeing of the child. My kids loved all the hands-on learning at Montessori of Brea, and had so much fun over the years--we go back regularly to visit Ms. Ali and all the lovely teachers and support staff, as we consider them family. P.S. My children attended from age 2 to age 6; best decision ever.

Keystone Montessori School is truly a wonderful place. I absolutely love Mrs. Laura, the director…read more-- she has been nothing short of amazing, and I hardly know where to begin. She is incredibly hands-on, always ready to assist in any classroom that needs support. She is protective, kind, caring with every child, and exceptionally patient. I also want to give honorable mentions to Ms. Katrina and Ms. Jasmine, two outstanding teachers who help my son feel safe while making learning fun every single day. Before attending this school, my son struggled with eating independently and socializing. Now, he is so much more confident -- he eats on his own, uses more words to express what he wants, and is far more open to making friends. The growth we've seen has been incredible. I remember reading some negative reviews before enrolling him and feeling skeptical. However, after our experience, I can confidently say they do not reflect the environment we have encountered. I am genuinely so happy to share such a positive review. If you're having second thoughts or feel unsure, I encourage you to give this school a chance and see the difference for yourself. Watching your child grow and thrive here is something you won't regret.

My daughter has struggled with self-regulation issues in the past and has often been dismissed or labeled as "challenging," but the staff here has been incredible. They are genuinely willing to work with her while I manage outside support, which allows me to keep working without constant worry. Without this school, I honestly don't know where I'd be as a working mom. The staff is amazing -- so supportive, attentive, and proactive -- and they keep my daughter engaged, happy, and thriving. I can't recommend Keystone Montessori highly enough!

At first he had a hard time, for a good month or two everyday he was having behavioral issues, it took a while but Mrs. Leila in room 4 really took the time to help him with his emotions, comfort him and gain his trust. After that his behavior was night and day. He started behaving, interacting with his classmates, participating in class and was loving being in room 4. His education grew with learning his ABC's, counting all the way to 100, learning basic addition, his writing and coloring improved, and would tell me things he learned about thay day. He recently transitioned to Room 5 where he is continuing to grow each and everyday. Having my child learn qt his pace as well as teachers who take the time to help has been beneficial on my levels. I am glad I started him at Primanti Montessori for his education needs

We were especially nervous about sending our breastfed baby to daycare, but the staff made the transition so much easier. They were incredibly supportive, gave us helpful tips, and communicated with us throughout the day about everything -- from diaper changes to how much our child ate. That level of care and communication gave us so much peace of mind. Our older daughter graduated reading at a very high level and became extremely proficient in math. The teachers we had throughout the years were truly amazing, and the friendships and connections our family made there are priceless. The summer programs were also so much fun. The field trips and on-campus activities were always exciting, creative, and well planned. Our kids constantly looked forward to them, and they got to experience so many fun and memorable places and activities. This school made such a meaningful impact on our family, and we are incredibly grateful for the care, education, and support they provided over the years. We will miss sending our kids here. We recommend Primanti to anyone in the area!

His socialization skills have improved immensely and his intellectual capacity has grown exponentially. I'm always amazed by what he knows or has learned. Their tuition is very reasonable. Their teachers are honestly the best there is and they love the kids so much. Quality Montessori education in a loving environment. Edit: I don't understand the negative review below mine. I'm actually offended that this person even attacked Ms. Tabitha or Ms. Amy's character. They are nothing but the kindest and caring humans I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. I reiterate: My husband and I could not be happier with our experience at this Montessori daycare. From the moment we walked in, we felt warmth, calm, and genuine care. The classrooms are beautifully prepared, inviting, and thoughtfully designed to encourage independence and curiosity. The teachers are beyond amazing -- patient, attentive, and deeply respectful of each child as an individual. They truly embody the Montessori philosophy, guiding rather than directing, and nurturing confidence, focus, and a love of learning. It has been incredible to watch our child grow in independence, communication skills, and self-esteem in such a short time. We especially appreciate how the program fosters practical life skills, kindness, and problem-solving. Our child comes home excited to share what they learned and proudly demonstrates new skills every week. Communication with parents is excellent, and we always feel informed and included. The sense of community here is something special -- it feels like an extension of our family. If you're looking for a nurturing, enriching, and joyful environment where your child will truly thrive, this Montessori daycare is an absolute gem. We are so grateful we found it! You won't be disappointed nor regret your decision in having your child learn here. We're even going to put our daughter in once their infant room is up and running!

I've had the intention of writing a review for some time now (my kid just transitioned to public…read moreschool TK in August) but it's very hard to put in words how special LiMai was to me and my family. Our kiddo had a hard time transitioning (he started at age 2) however the teachers were super supportive and kind to all three of us. We stayed 2 years at LiMai and I will definitely be returning if we are blessed with another baby. Our kiddo went from us thinking he had a delay with speech to being a chatterbox in one month! When he transitioned to the older kid class, his teachers were also phenomenal here! Ms. Dianna and Ms. Rehka are so kind and treat every kid like their own. My kiddo looked forward to going to school because he felt so comfortable in his class. Overall, LiMai is a great investment, for many reasons. I always felt safety and our children's privacy was the upmost importance. I also felt like there was huge difference in our child's academic ability compared to other kids his age and also noticed how he began picking up healthy habits such as wanting to be more involved and helpful at home. Definitely a very great way to build some important foundational skills.

I wish this review could come with the information we were seeking but unfortunately we were never…read moreeven given the opportunity. I reached out to La Habra Montessori after doing research with La Habra moms groups and recommendations based on their child care in the area. I have a 18 month old and am currently pregnant, looking for enrollment for both my children in the future. We've reached out to multiple facilities and been given multiple tours based on our enrollment timeframe and had no issues until this facility. The first issue we ran into was the way we received our first email response. Despite my email to the "Director" being signed as my first and last name, the response I received was addressed to a Ms. (Maiden name). Confused, I responded, and clarified, both mine and my husband's name as well as our intent to tour their facility still. The response I received was again addressed as Ms. (maiden name). At this point it feels disrespectful, since I've now addressed what my name is twice and the response we're received hasn't reflected that knowledge. Curious to how (and why) the "Director" is addressing me this way I decided to just ask where they got that name from. Apparently my email icon shows my maiden name, unknown to my knowledge till this point (and never having this issue before). My issue is the lack of respect in addressing a potential client as the signed (and clarified) name, on not one but multiple response threads. There was a point when it seemed intentional in speaking down to me. Additionally to this, the response we received for our actual tour inquiry was to essentially "come back later". So we were declined a tour based on the timeframe of when we were hoping to start enrollment. No matter what our timeline is, we have questions that have now gone unanswered. Is this facility one that we're going to consider when the time comes? Likely not. It would have been nice to have our questions answered, meet the staff, and see the facility so we can narrow down our choices when the time comes to decide one of the most important choices of who to place your children in care with. Very unfortunate considering how close we are to this facility and the convenience it would have been for our family. Just based on this limited experience unfortunately our family cannot recommend reaching out.

However, seeing how happy my girls were to see their teachers and friends each day put my mind at ease, and I knew that they were in good hands. I especially appreciate the fact that the director Ms. Enoka knows each child and their parents by name. She truly cares about the students and wants to make sure you feel welcome. One thing that really stood out to me when we toured daycares before making the choice to go with MS of HH is that the classrooms were wide, colorful, and very clean! I also liked that each student is provided with cubbies, one for their lunch and one for all their change of clothes/blankets/etc. Throughout the school year they have plenty of fun events for the kids such as trunk-o-treat, Halloween potluck, Thanksgiving celebrations, Christmas concert, spirit weeks, Easter egg hunt, etc. Their back-to-school night, parent/teacher conferences and open house are great for parents to stay up to date on what their child is learning and doing in their class. Monthly newsletters are emailed to the parents to stay informed on what events will be happening that month. The only con is that they are old school when it comes to providing daily reports for the infant class. While most daycares have an app where they provide daily updates and photos, they send home the daily updates on paper. I'm glad they do this, but I prefer things to be online.
