First off, this daycare center is run by an Indian owner so most staff members are either older Indians or Filipinos who are not qualified categivers but more so just people who need paying jobs and can't get them elsewhere. Secondly, communication can be challenging at times since they would tell me something and it would take awhile or some guessing to know what they actually need. Imagine having these people trying to communicate to your children at the age where they're trying to absorb as much language skills and other social skills as possible. The communication issues happen at the top as well since the So-called Director of the center has only passable level of English. Communication issues aside; what bothered me most was the level of inexperience of the staff members, not to mention the high turnover rate of staff members. Within 6 months of having my child under their care, I would get random calls during the day to have me pick up my child early for various reasons, such as "he's not eating, he has runny nose; he has a fever, etc." so be ready to leave work early whenever they call. The thing that is most irritating is most of the time when I had to pick up my kid early, he was perfectly fine and not anywhere near the level where he needed to go home early. This just goes to show how inexperienced the staff are and they'd rather send a kid home than actually do their job and take care of the kids since they don't know how. Several times when I pick up my kid from school, the staff would realize that they forgot to feed my kid milk that was packed in his backpack so they would just give him milk at pickup, which is around 5pm so my kid did not have anything to eat since lunchtime. These are just some of the long list of issues at this center. Don't make the same mistake I made and look elsewhere for the well being of your children

The first issue we ran into was the way we received our first email response. Despite my email to the "Director" being signed as my first and last name, the response I received was addressed to a Ms. (Maiden name). Confused, I responded, and clarified, both mine and my husband's name as well as our intent to tour their facility still. The response I received was again addressed as Ms. (maiden name). At this point it feels disrespectful, since I've now addressed what my name is twice and the response we're received hasn't reflected that knowledge. Curious to how (and why) the "Director" is addressing me this way I decided to just ask where they got that name from. Apparently my email icon shows my maiden name, unknown to my knowledge till this point (and never having this issue before). My issue is the lack of respect in addressing a potential client as the signed (and clarified) name, on not one but multiple response threads. There was a point when it seemed intentional in speaking down to me. Additionally to this, the response we received for our actual tour inquiry was to essentially "come back later". So we were declined a tour based on the timeframe of when we were hoping to start enrollment. No matter what our timeline is, we have questions that have now gone unanswered. Is this facility one that we're going to consider when the time comes? Likely not. It would have been nice to have our questions answered, meet the staff, and see the facility so we can narrow down our choices when the time comes to decide one of the most important choices of who to place your children in care with. Very unfortunate considering how close we are to this facility and the convenience it would have been for our family. They have been able to help our child make huge progress with nap time and even with playing with other kids.
