The school is a tight-knit community, and the teachers genuinely care for the students. They did a great job with the curriculum and keeping the students engaged. They will work with your schedule and provide the flexibility you need to ensure your child is cared for and supported. The value of the education is affordable compared to other local programs and has been invaluable for my toddler. Update 11/2024: My child described below is now 7 and in second grade. Yesterday, we received her national testing scores. She tested as a 4th grader and scored in 90th percentile in the nation. Which means only 10% of students in the country scored better than she did! I was shocked !! This has everything to do with Sashi and her team. I can't thank them enough for the passion and dedication. We have a little one who will be joining her in a little over a year from now. We trust the school and the supportive environment! Our child has been at Future Minds since two years old. Our little bug was barely learning to use the bathroom. They stepped in, and we had a fully potty-trained little one within two weeks. Our child is now 5 --- can read, write, add, and subtract, is beyond confident in herself, and has incredible language skills to express ideas and concepts. I must say this is due primarily to the team at Future Minds. Our child had a custom plan put together when we started, and it was super tailored to our little one's growth. If you are looking for a school where academics will be tremendous and will be a massive part of your child's growth, this is it! But more importantly, if you're looking for a school where the whole child is considered, look no further because Future Minds Montessori focuses on the entire child and their growth. It is incredible to see such loving and passionate teachers. Our child was encouraged, loved, supported, and made to feel special daily. Our little one was excited to go to school, and we never had an issue about not wanting to attend. These people genuinely care. For example, if our child didn't eat, special time was set aside for her to get an afternoon second lunch. It wasn't just about driving her academically but also essential to driving her as a person. Sashi leads future minds. One of the strongest women I've ever met, with so much passion, love, and dedication. During the pandemic, the school closed, and very quickly, she was able to put an online program together for the kids that was like no other. She took extra precautions when they opened the school. I mean, extra is an understatement- she has the school professional cleaned by COVID crews when someone thought they might have it. She never took anything lightly. She is the first one and usually the last one. She runs this school with heart and lots of love. Then, she is backed by a powerful house of super-qualified teachers. Ms. Mano is one of her leads and truly an educator. She worked with each child to understand what wasn't working and then did what it took to ensure the child understood concepts. She creates funny stories and crafts, and prepares special lessons for your child to get concepts that they may not fully understand. She is a special lady. She works so hard each child everyday and does it with a smile. Oh gosh. Our little one was struggling with reading it took 9 months before we saw the turning point. She asked us to do special things we her and nothing was cracking it. She never gave up. And one day both Ms. Sashi and Mano said she got it. We turned the corner --she gets it. And the pure joy and excitement that our child could read and it was evident all over their faces. It was their personal mission at that time to ensure that she truly got it. My son had a wonderful experience at Future Minds. All of the teachers are kind and thoughtful and the classrooms are always organized and tidy. There are various performances throughout the year that the kids rehearse for which is adorable. My son brought home a lot of artwork and demonstrated that he was learning letters, numbers, seasons, continents, the days of the week and much more. Highly recommended! My foster son attended Future Minds for about 1.5 years while he lived with me. Ms. Sashi, the director, is always available for questions or concerns and is a pleasure to work with. My FS had a special relationship with several teachers and I knew he was loved and well cared for when he was there. My daughter lived her best life at Future Minds. Sashi and the teachers really catered to her when she was adjusting to attending a larger school, and we could feel at ease dropping her off everyday. I highly recommend Ms. Sashi and her school. My son got kicked out of 2 daycares and we were at a loss on where to put him. I told Sashi about our sons past behavior and that he needs somewhere with patience and flexibility because I couldn't afford to get the phone calls to pick up my son up early because of his behavior. She said she has never given up on a kid and here we are today, where he has successfully finished Future Minds and Sashi and her team did an incredible job at helping him succeed. My son was coming for a big Montessori set up (class of 35) to this cozy place where class sizes were low but had the same academic structure and I could definitely tell the progress we made on social skills and his overall learning at Future Minds. All teachers are vested in child's overall development as they took necessary steps to ensure he works on areas he was behind in. We toured 7-8 daycares/schools prior but circled back to Future Minds/ Ms Sashi's school bc we had a good feeling about it. Fast forward, my child has been with Future Minds since 2 yrs old. We even did Zoom classes with Ms Sashi and Ms Michelle from the start of the pandemic in 3/2020 to going back to in person schooling in 10/2020. Ms Sashi / the Principal is very attentive to all the quickly evolving safety measures. She is also very responsive to answering my texts or phone calls regarding updates on my child. I appreciate the photo updates as well. The school provides a balance of fun and academics. It will be bittersweet to leave Future Minds as my child transitions into the new elementary school because all the teachers there will be missed greatly as they are kind, patient and personable. I changed my sons school from a nearby Montessori to Future minds in the month of September and it was the best decision I have ever made . Ms. Sashi and Ms. Fatima and all the staff is so loving and caring , its just beyond me. My son turned 4 in September , he had some challenges with focus and writing , but just in a month the progress my son has made is amazing , his length of focus has improved , he can hold the pencil well and also does writing very well. My daughter attended Future Minds when she was 3 and 4 and we are grateful to have found Ms. Sashi, her wonderful teachers and assistants. They were very patient with my daughter in the beginning as it was a difficult transition for her. Ms. Sashi occasionally would text us photos of what she was doing throughout the week. That gave us reassurance our daughter was progressing along. One of the best decisions we have made is sending our youngest daughter to FutureMind Montessori. She started when she was 3 years old & was a late speaker. With in two months or so joining the Montessori we have seen a big difference & change in her speaking. She has learned a lot at this school, Math, Science, Language, Arts & Crafts, Geography, etc.. I can't say enough great things about Future Minds! I was surprised to find negative reviews about this place but most seems like it was from a tour, not actual experience. Because if you sent your child to this Montessori, you wouldn't have a negative experience. Here's why- 1. I started sending my son when he turned two. He cried the first wk but he adjusted very fast. Within the third or fourth wk, he wouldn't even say goodbye in the morning! He would just march right into class and sit down and participate in their morning learning lessons. Then he started cleaning up after his toys at home. Miracle! They have a great program that the kids love. 2. The teachers REALLY care! They pay close attention to each child and when you pick them up, they tell you about the day and give you a mini report. Ms Jaime truly loves kids and always looked after my son as if it was her own. I always felt that all the teachers really cared for the kids. 3. They have fun events! From international day to Christmas parties, they do it all. There are fun events that parents/families can participate in. For the kids, during the summer they have so many activities. My son would come home and would not stop talking about the fire truck that came through and sprayed water on the kids! They post all the events on their Facebook page which is a plus. Everyone is having a blast and I love that they are very creative with events. 4. I know my son LOVES school because every day, he asked me to pick him up "really really late". When I read to him at night, and we name characters and he always includes his teachers. For the last two years, this school has been so great for my now four-year-old son. My daughter attended Future Minds for three years and she and we loved it. We came across the school by chance in the days before it opened. We happened to be in the market for another preschool for our daughter at the time. I scheduled a tour and Sashi showed us around and told us about the curriculum and about how the school had been her lifelong dream. It was easy to tell that she was passionate about kids and teaching. We left the tour and told her we were going to take some time to make a decision as to which school we'd send our daughter to. We were so impressed and inspired by what we'd seen and heard on the tour that we went back the same day and put a deposit on a spot for my daughter to attend Future Minds. In the years since, my daughter has received more love, education, and support than I'd anticipated she would from her preschool. At 3 years old she was writing, at 4 she could read, at 5 she could do addition and subtraction. And along the way she learned a variety of other skills and knowledge I just assumed was "too advanced" for preschool, like the parts of a flower; landforms; and practical-life skills such as setting a table, caring for a plant, and folding clothing. Sashi and the teachers were also always open to our requests to teach my daughter something specific. For instance, one morning before school my daughter decided to try to tie her shoes herself because she'd seen my husband and me tie ours. She asked if we could teach her over the coming weekend. I said sure. In the meantime, when we arrived at school that morning, I asked Sashi and Hema if they could possibly help my daughter learn to tie her shoes. They very enthusiastically told me that Montessori has materials for that and that they definitely could. Less than a half hour later I received a text from Sashi with a photograph of my daughter proudly displaying a board with the multiple laces she'd tied on her own. Along with the great education, we loved the small school community. My daughter and the other kids all knew each other well even though they were in different classes. The community is small enough that it was easy to get to know other parents and for us to socialize comfortably at school events. And the group of teachers is just the right size so that they all know the kids well. They're all very warm and friendly and great with kids; over the years I've watched them soothe boo-boos, celebrate potty training successes, teach skills, greet kiddos who are skittish at dropoff, sing silly songs, etc. It's been great knowing that my daughter wasn't in only capable hands--she was in loving hands that cared about her and were committed to her having a great experience, learning a lot, and growing as a person in general. My daughter recently graduated from Future Minds and will be attending first grade in the fall. I have no doubt whatsoever that she's more than prepared from a variety of perspectives. She's had so much groundwork laid to be a good student, friend, and human being at Future Minds. I'm grateful to have stumbled across the school that day and I still highly recommend it all these years later. read more

It's been almost 2 years since my daughter attended Future Minds Montessori, my husband and I are very pleased we choose Ms. Sashi and her team. They treat every kid with love, care, and patience because they understand that every kid is someone's whole world. I often surprised by my daughter, in a good way, with something new she learns from school. Other than general education materials, Ms. Sashi and teachers would customize the learning material and create opportunities depends on each kid's needs. My daughter is shy, but the teachers are attentive and would do everything to bring her out of her own world. Ms. Hema often encourages her to answer questions in class and builds her confidence. Ms. Sashi would put her in a group of talkative girls and asks the girls to help my daughter start a conversation. I feel very thankful when Ms. Sashi sends me pictures to let me know what my kid is doing. When I pick her up, I see a happy face so I know I can trust the teachers because they really care about her and always make sure she feels comfortable. I love all the events in Future Minds, their activities are all very educational and fun! In these events, I also got to spend precious time with my daughter and see her interacts with other kids, and they are all so cute! From these events I can see how open-minded the school is, the students are sharing and accepting the diversities of all cultures which brings my kid to a higher level and look at the world from different angles. Very often it's easy for the teacher to say only the good things about their kids just to make the parents happy. So I really appreciate when Ms. Sashi and other teachers tell me what my daughter did wrong and what she should do to improve. And by the time they told me, they already corrected my daughter and they will give me suggestions to adjust my daughter's behavior and make her a better person. I can feel that It's not just the daily care they focus; it's the student's future they are looking after. Ms. Sashi always listens to me when I have trouble with parenting. We had a bad experience with an other preschool (Bright Star Montessori Academy) before I found Future Mind. I was frustrated because a pervious preschool asked me to have my daughter evaluated for ADHA and a number of other problems. This is unprofessional because they did not have any parents conference with me, the director did not even know my daughter well before they made this assumption. My daughter had been there no more than 3 weeks, but they just rushed to point the figure back to me when I walked in to the director's office to seek help as my daughter's teacher told me my daughter was knotty every single day....skip ten thousand words... Therefore I did some research and shopped around for a better preschool. Finally I chose Future Mind, and we are all very pleased so far. The director Ms. Salgado patiently took more than 1 hour to explain Future Mind Montessori's philosophy and many kinds of activities which can cultivate the little children's multiple abilities. The school even takes pictures of each child and then texts the photos to the parents so that I can see how my daughter is doing everyday. As a result I can tell my daughter is happy and she concentrated very well through many great activities. At very first day my daughter attend Future Mind, Ms. Salgado introduced my daughter to the class and let the older students show how to do to my daughter, also ask my daughter to help assigned the snack which created her scene of belonging, I can see she really feel involved. In the age 2 1/2, children can social well with adults, but they may not know how to build social relationship or interactive with their peers, therefore teachers play an very important role to assist the younger kids to build the social relationship or guiding them play together. Future Mind just know how to do the right thing. When I attend one of the kid's birthday party on last Friday, I have noticed one elder boy worried that my daughter can not see the Elsa Princess, and he took her to a better seat. One elder girl passing my daughter's water bottle to her (she even can recognize her bottle) I just found the elder kids are willing to help the others without the teacher's asking and they can see what the others' need. All the small things are nearly invisible, however they are crucial to a preschool's climate, I can see caring, and loving here, And the happiness in each of the children's face which that can be hardly found in the old school (the children in old school seems do not have much emotion, they are in the rigorous environment everyday, however the kids should be like kids, use discipline to limited the children's exploring will limited the children's growth in all aspects). Anyway, we are all relieved and very happy with Future Mind, and looking forward to see more great things. I wanted to post an update. My daughter went here for a year and a half before we moved. I cannot say enough good things about Future Minds and Ms. Sashi. We were so very lucky to have our daughter attend. They taught her discipline, sharing, helpfulness, and to be a good person. The teachers really do care about each child and tailor their teaching to the pupil's needs. The projects our daughter would bring home and the performances the school would put on showed a deep understanding of how to get kids excited to learn and explore their world. We are so sad that we cannot have our kids here, but we live 8 hours away. If we had a private jet we'd definitely fly the kids in so they could go to school here :) If you're lucky enough to live near Future Minds, ENROLL YOUR KIDS! You won't be disappointed! read more

If your child is already disciplined and easy going, this is definitely the place to enroll them. I scheduled a visit with this daycare and everything was going well, the teachers were nice and playing with my son until I told the director that I would like for teachers to help my 3 year old with his talking and overall behavior, such as sharing, boundaries, etc. He is a ball of energy. Things went downhill FAST. The fact that my son can't say a sentence clearly, was already a problem. While touring the facility (going through a long hallway to the back playground) the director couldn't walk with me, she was literally 8 feet ahead of me, as if being next to me was a sin. Immediately, I got the vibe that my son was not welcomed here. I asked if he can just try out the daycare for a month, but she was very hesitant, and kept staring at me like I am a horrible mother. She recommended to seek speech help for my child, and I broke down into tears because I couldn't contain how hurt and ridiculous I felt, as if I failed my role in being a parent. To make the situation worse, my son threw a tantrum, I grabbed him right away because teachers and kids were staring at him like he is crazy. (My son self taught himself the alphabet, numeric system, colors, objects, he just has trouble expressing himself). I know ALOT of kids who are older than my son and still can't make out a sentence! Does that mean they are not normal? Every kid will thrive at their own pace, isn't that the whole point of Montessori? I called and toured other Montessori's, and they are warm, welcoming and willing to teach and sit down with my son. If I was dressed more appropriately, or had the energy to look more "professional" not just a "stay at home mom with yoga pants" Would this have led to a different outcome? read more

My daughter went here for 2 1/2 years and Graduated from Kindergarden in June she has been first grade for last 3 months. She is doing extremely well in school. She was moved into a more advanced class on the first week of school. My daughter was a tough one. Mrs Sashi and Mrs Hema never gave up on her and she has thrived being at Future Minds. We are grateful for the Future Minds Montessori. The guidance helped our daughter to be more focused on reading, and as the result, she is a pretty good reader today. Today, our kid is too big for Montessori, but the experience of Montessori seems to retain in her reading and focus habit. Sending kids in Montessori may be costly, but I think this is a great investment for the kid. My wife brought our toddler to this daycare on a scheduled tour of the facility and while my wife was talking to Sashi, my toddler threw a tantrum. Sashi made a behavioral assessment about my child -who threw a tantrum by stating "something is wrong with my 3 year old and it is not normal for my son to not be able to talk clearly at that age" WOW, Sashi you should be a Pediatric Doctor instead. I work for a Medical Management Company as a Utilization Management Director and I manage multiple IPAs/Medical groups. I mainly deal with PCP's all day long and for someone with no proper Medical knowledge - but just acts like one should NEVER make a statement like that. If one of our PCPs made that statement without proper documentation, they will under go a malpractice lawsuit. So, Sashi- keep your unfounded medical opinion to yourself because you have no experience, and just because you run a daycare does not mean your an behavioral expert! Comments like this should not be said to any first time parent because your insensitive remarks put hardworking parents into questioning their ability to parent their own children. My son went to this school for almost one year and I have to say that this school is a "place of happy kids". We can see it in their little eyes from the early morning till the end of the day. Our daughter is thriving here! She truly enjoys going to school, has made great friends and learns a great deal. She's singing her ABC's, song and dance, loves to read, and helps around the house (folding clothes, "clean up time", making her bed)... and it's all because of the examples that the teachers have lovingly Instilled in her.
