They implemented these principles effectively to help my son develop a strong foundation for future academic and social success. In addition to the more standard Montessori training around sensory and fine motor development, my son also received drills in math, writing, spelling, and reading, to help him prepare for education beyond the Montessori classroom. The teachers also helped my son make tremendous progress in learning English. When we first moved to this area from Shanghai, my son only spoke Chinese at home and was not fluent in English. However, after attending this school for one year, he is now able to fluently speak English. I would highly recommend this kindergarten to all parents, especially those who want their children to be well-socialized and have a strong foundation for academic success. I couldn't be happier with my son's experience at this school.

Montessori of Brea has been an enriching, amazing, and wonderful learning experience for our three…read moredaughters. As a former Montessori student, this school stays true to the Montessori method of teaching. There are plenty of hands-on learning materials that are age appropriate from 2 years old in preschool to 7 years old in K-1. The kids are able to learn at their own pace and enjoy an environment of collaborative play and learning. Every child of mine who entered preschool had their initial episodes of tears and crying in the first few months. But the teachers at Montessori of Brea are so kind with their loving voices, gentle nudges, and guided redirection to help the children focus on their learning and forget about the separation from parents. Ms. Kim was our preschool teacher for our first 2 daughters and is currently teaching our 3 year old. Our whole family LOVES Ms. Kim! When my two older grade school kids come to pick up our baby, they ALWAYS have to come to give Ms. Kim a hug! She is caring, loving, and has great communication with parents at drop off and/or pick up. There are a total of 4 teachers for the classroom, but I'm amazed at Ms. Kim's organization and memory having to be the primary teacher of 28+ kids and knowing each child's ability. I can barely handle remembering my 3! Ms. Dana was our most recent K-1 teacher and she is just as great! Her lessons helped prepare my daughter for school outside of Montessori. Her open communication and constant use of technology helped prepare us for future apps used in grade school. Ms. Dana was very active in providing updates, even sending pictures to all the class parents of special events and personal messages for individual achievements! With the help of ALL the teachers at Montessori of Brea, our oldest daughter got into GATE (Gifted & Talented Education) and is excelling. Our second daughter is reading three grade levels above her current grade and is thriving at her new school thanks to the teachers and Montessori of Brea. I can only give my highest recommendation for this place! I tell all my neighbors and friends in the area about Montessori of Brea because it has helped our children succeed in and out of the classroom.

I was asked by my close friend Stephanie to help her find a suitable daycare for her two year old…read moredaughter. She works graveyard and needed a place for her little one to be taken care of during the day while she got some rest. She saw Love & Care Montessori and asked me to check it out for her along with several other locations because she didn't have the time due to her schedule. I called and made an appointment with the owner, Yael, whom was very nice and gave me a tour of everything. So for those of you out there here is my review: 1) First thoughts: When I walked in, all I can say is that my inner child came to life! I mean I looked around and there is litterally every toy immaginable. From small cars to dinosaurs to even puzzles and games, this place had everything. I kind of wish I had a place like this for my childhood years. Yael went on to explain that she teaches on montessori methods as she gave me a tour of the house. 2) Layout: What I thought was most impressive was how every room was organized and how each room served it's own purpose. Even more astounding, the play areas in both the back and front yards were extensive, with slides and play houses and little cars to ride around, I thought to myself, if I had a kid I would want him/her to come here. They even had an enclosed trampoline in the back yard so that the kids could jump around and have fun while protected by the netting; how cool! Inside there are three seperate rooms. There's the play room when you first walk in, followed by the infant room, and finally the lunch room. 3) Schedule: Yael went over the daily routines of all the children from snack and lunch times to nap times and daily activities, arts and crafts and play times. All in all, everything seemed very organized and planned out in comparison to some of the other daycares I checked out. 4) Pricing: I compared the prices of the other daycares I visited and this one. For the weekly price, Love & Care Montessori had more to offer than similar daycares in the area for around the same weekly rate, give or take $10. 5) Atmosphere: What I really enjoyed was the homelike feel that this daycare had. It felt warm and inviting from start to finish. I think mostly in part by Yael. My first thoughts on her is that she had a lot of energy and a fun loving personality. Compared to the other dayares that I visited only one other one had a similar feeling when you walk right in. I felt that if I had a child I would be comfortable leaving him/her at this daycare for prolonged periods of time. Final thoughts: There are many daycares out there. Out of all the daycares I have visited, I thoroughly enjoyed all the things Love & Care Montessori and owner Yael had to offer. I am definitely recommending this place to my friend Steph and I recommend this to all of you as well who are reading my review. It might not be for everyone, but I encourage you to check it out.

Before choosing Pine Tree, I toured about five different schools because I wanted to make sure we found a place where my children would not only be safe, but also happy, supported, and able to thrive. As a parent, trusting someone else to care for your little ones is a huge decision--and Pine Tree made that decision so much easier. From the moment we toured the school, Ms. Perla made us feel incredibly welcomed and at ease. She was warm, transparent, and genuinely enthusiastic about the children, the staff, and the school's approach. We could immediately tell that this wasn't just a daycare--it was a nurturing learning environment built with heart. Ms. Perla and Ms. Michelle are hands-down the best ever. Their communication with parents is consistent, thoughtful, and reassuring, and they truly go above and beyond to make each child feel seen, safe, and loved. The teachers at Pine Tree foster a strong foundation not just academically, but emotionally and socially. We've seen so much growth in our daughters--from their language and problem-solving skills to their confidence and emotional regulation. The curriculum is age-appropriate and engaging, and they do an amazing job at balancing structure with play, creativity, and exploration. They also celebrate cultural events and individual milestones, which makes every child feel special and included. The school maintains a clean, safe, and joyful environment that radiates positivity. It's clear that the staff take pride in what they do, and that translates into the way the children flourish here. My daughters come home excited to tell us about their day--and that kind of enthusiasm says everything. We are incredibly grateful to have found Pine Tree Preschool. Highly recommend to any parent who's looking for a place where their child will be truly cared for, supported, and encouraged to grow. There's absolutely nothing negative to say--only gratitude for the amazing care and experiences our children have had here.

I have a 4-year-old who is highly energetic and requires extra attention at times. I had a terrible experience with her first daycare (North Fullerton KinderCare) and had to pull her out after experiencing retaliation for reporting a teacher for abuse. I am the sole provider for my family so unfortunately staying home is not an option for me. I visited a couple of different daycares, explained my situation, asked a million questions and ultimately ended up deciding on CC's. My daughter adjusted to the change right away. The teachers were all nice, fun, and patient with her. My daughter doesn't respond well to grouchy teachers or to yelling, she tends to rebel more. Their approach for correcting her behavior worked because they paid attention to the little things that motivated her and their approach was not aggressive but rather compassionate. Michelle is resourceful and willing to help with information and resources, and she is very involved in the day to day. The communication and their way of handling every situation and behavior made all the difference. I knew my daughter was in good hands and because of that I had the peace of mind that I needed to be able to concentrate on work without the added stress that I was experiencing before. CC's was the best decision I ever made. She is now attending public school but I will definitely be taking her back for the summer.

They have clear communication on everything that's going on with the center (events, day to day activities, health checks, center closures) and you're given notice well in advance. Payment, check in/out, and communication are all done through Brightwheel (an app) and it's such a smooth process. Even though it's a bit modern, my in-laws (that are a bit older and have a harder time with technology) are still able use the app to pick up my daughter and enjoy the occasional pictures and videos that are sent through there. My daughter doesn't really take to strangers well. She did have an adjustment period but has soon blossomed in the infant classroom and loves her teachers. The teachers are caring and informative and we are so pleased with the kind of care they provide our daughter. And we know she's not the easiest baby. They have been able to help our child make huge progress with nap time and even with playing with other kids. I truly feel her personality has blossomed due to the work the infant room teachers put into our daughter. She always comes home happy from the day. The infant room itself (as well as the other rooms we toured in the facility) are also clean and does not have a smell. We toured other facilities where the smell was so strong it stayed with me the rest of the day and was actually one of the deciding factors in choosing CCs. My daughter also has an egg and milk allergy. They assigned high chair specifically for her and are always on the look out for any reactions from food. She recently outgrew her milk allergy but not the egg. During the recent mother's day Muffins with Mom's event, they provided a special vegan muffin for her so she can enjoy the event with me. The teacher running the event wasn't my daughter's regular teacher, but she recognized my daughter anyway and knew to offer me the vegan muffin. I was so touched by this gesture. We haven't had experience with the older classrooms, but have toured them and are rest assured my daughter will grow up well cared for and well educated here at CCs. We are excited for her to learn and grow here. We are so pleased with our experience that we've already reserved our spot for our next baby due in a few months. We highly recommend this daycare center and will recommend it to anyone look for care in the area.

We were able to talk to management/director regarding the matter but it was overall negative which ruined the entire experience. That particular teacher that was involved was later resigned/let go but we did ended up moving on to another preschool shortly after. Also, their staff turnover rate is extremely high. There are a lot of options in Yorba Linda and adjacent cities, so it was really difficult to choose. However, what initially drew us to choose Village Preschool was the space, particularly the outdoor area. It was large and inviting, with plenty to do--from live animals, to climbing structures, to the occasional art area, to riding tricycles. We also loved all the programs and themed days/weeks arranged for the kids that are included in their tuition cost, not to mention that the hot meals and snacks are accounted for as well. The level of care that each teacher has shown has been wonderful for us. We had a sensitive situation awhile back involving our daughter and another child. We initially did not feel good about the way it was handled due to the lack of communication while it was happening, but after making time to speak with the staff, we were able to move forward and found that there is a learning opportunity for collaboration and communication. Our oldest daughter has gained so much confidence while being at Village. We worried that keeping her there through the TK program would hinder her academically when it was time for her to move to kindergarten at a different school. But we were wrong. Through their use of traditional academic approaches + play, she was well-rounded and prepared for kindergarten the following year. We were then extremely confident in our decision to send our second child to Village when she was about 6 months old. We did not have any experience or exposure to the infant classroom prior to that. We worried about the inclusion of multiple age/development stages existing in one room and wondered how they would be able to co-exist and be cared for equally, but somehow it worked! Even when our second child developed more awareness, she happily went into the classroom. Seeing that she was still so young and growing quickly, it was a very collaborative effort between the teachers and us to address the evolving needs of our child. Once she was nearly 2, she moved up to Room 1 and later into Room 2. They made the transition very easy for her and us, and we were grateful to have Ms. Jessica and Ms. Tori there with her. They, along with all of the other staff in that room were very nurturing and loving towards her. We are sad that we are no longer an active Village Preschool family (financial decision). I'm still in contact with many former families of Village Preschool, and everyone has said the same thing: that whether they made their decision because of financial reasons or that their kid aged out or that they moved, they were sad to go. I highly recommend Village Preschool if you value an environment where your kids can be themselves while learning something new. They will gain confidence and new friendships and lasting memories.
