I went to Mrs. Cheezious for the first time: I never paid for a Grilled cheese sandwich before in my life. But since a local TV show made the place sound so good, I decided to check it out. The menu has a lot of appealing options from the Chicken & waffle sandwich to the braised rib thingy sandwich but being a fan of the Ham Croquette sandwich in Hialeah, I ordered the Croqueta Monsier. At first I was like "8 bucks for this sandwich?" when I looked in the bag. Then when I took it out, it looked like an 8 dollar sandwich. VERY tasty. Bread was crisp and buttery. Sliced ham & croquettes were neatly PACKED in place and did not spill due to the glue of oozing cheese that held it together. It was a clean "feeding". The side of basic fries was not necessary as it was a filling sandwich. The atmosphere was modern and hip. The food was to go so I didn't get to check out the outer dining area. Bad news? Parking sucks. I had to park across the street in front of a motel and kept looking out to make sure nobody was calling a tow truck. Things that would normally bother me DID NOT because the place was new and I'm all for rooting for the underdog in corporate America. For instance, the entrance door locks automatically so I had to keep opening it for the customers that were coming in frequently. The cashier guy, who looks like the owner, looked like his head was spinning and was overwhelmed or his mind was elsewhere. Maybe he was stressed but, again, this is a new place so I'm sure a lot was on his mind but he was still polite. The wait in total was about 10 minutes for the sandwich. Parking is what made the process long. If you want something different than Wendys, BK, McD's and Taco Smell, then this is the place to be if you have 8+ dollars to spend. Ain't no dollar menu here. I would go back just to try the other sandwiches I missed out on. I think they could have picked a MUCH better spot like Aventura or Pembroke Pines with parking space but they kept it in Miami and I'm sure they'll expand if business keeps up. I had one of their sandwiches at an event. I hate melted cheese (so you can imagine my sentiments about grilled cheese) but they were the only option and I was starving. I figure I would give it a try and I am so hooked! I had the pulled pork sandwich. Tons of flavor and the cheese was just an add-on in my book. I love this place and everything about it! The ambiance, food, people, the outdoor part, the painting and everything else! I went there on a Sunday afternoon because I knew there was brunch specials going on. We went outside and tried the scotch eggs and the cheese raclette. Both of them were really yummy. Then we decided to seat inside and order our grilled cheese sandwiches! I had the chicken and waffle one and my boyfriend had the mac and cheese one. So here's the thing with mac and cheese. If you don't season well and don't choose the right cheeses to put, it gets bland and it feels like a white sauce pasta! This mac and cheese was, in fact, cheesy! It was so good and we could taste the cheese, and I think that's all you want from a mac and cheese grilled cheese! And the chicken and waffle one, my oh my, that made my day! Tender and juicy chicken, light waffles and some syrup and gravy on the side. It was delicious! They also have craft beers, so I ordered El Jefe, which is one of my favorite beers lately. Waited in a super long line to try these grilled cheeses. I got a standard cheddar on sourdough and the bf got the crab salad with cheddar. It wasn't that either sandwich was bad, it just that it was just OK. Nothing spectacular. My cheddar and sourdough had a little too much cheese and was very greasy. The fries weren't great either, too potatoe-y for my taste. I prefer a thinner fry. As a vegetarian at this food truck round-up, there really weren't many vegetarian friendly options at all (Mac'N the only vegan food truck wasn't there). The BEST grilled cheese in town. Warm, oozing cheese, buttery Texas toast, it is out of control! They're really friendly and helpful. I love how you can find them in trendy locations exactly when you are craving a grilled cheese after an art walk. My first trip here I loved the space but the crab grill cheese fell flat but not only did they fix it, they gave me a refund. Been a long-time fan of the food truck, so I finally made it out to their restaurant. It's not really in the best neighborhood and the parking situation sort of sucks, but the restaurant is very cute and country-cozy inside, with a great folksy-hipster backyard area too. The restaurant definitely attracts a hipper crowd, and it was kind of hilarious to watch all the bearded, tatted, skinny-jean wearing hipsters and their equal lady counterparts sort of disappear after our loud Hispanic party of 20 came in and the kids started taking over the picnic tables and bean bag toss game. By the way, they have games. Board games and outdoor games, and basically that's awesome. The food was great. It's gourmet grilled cheese. If you don't like cheese, don't go here. If you don't like sandwiches, don't go here. If you like cheese and you like sandwiches, go here. Their sweet potato fries were awesome, too. I've personally had their bbq pork, short rib, harvest, and fried chicken/waffle grilled cheese sandwiches and I love them all. But I love cheese and I love bread, so I'm biased. A reinterpretation of a classic always wins big in my book ! The grilled cheeses here are top notch and varietal. There's something anybody can enjoy. Ms. Cheezious has been my favorite food truck for years now. Constantly consistent and quick. It's hard to go wrong here. They're often outside gramps which is one if my favorite hangouts. Great cocktails with great sandwiches out the door! Thank you lord! The bacon and blue can scare many away. Fear not my fatties! The blue cheese here is cut with a filler base (cream cheese or something) so as it is less pungent and much more creamy and palatable. Of course the perfectly cooked bacon doesn't hurt either. I choose to split the bacon and blue and the goat cheese and prosciutto with a friend. Because yes! I can never decide which I want more and it's just the right thing to do. I'm doing my job as an American! Another great combo that I've put together is my custom order (stolen from my girlfriend). Rye bread with goat cheese and apple. Quite an epic treat! Was at the artwalk at wynwood and knew the truck was going to be there. I have always loved grilled cheese so picking this truck out of the other 25 was easy. The pulled pork bbq grilled cheese caught my eye because i love pulled pork so i couldn't resist. There are many combos one can choose from and one can even build their own grilled cheese . The sandwich was 8 dollars which is a little pricey but not over the top. We finally made it here! After seeing all of the pics and reviews of this place we finally got here. Our original plan to go to Octoberfest at Marlins fell through, so we decide to come here. I was very excited. We were given some menus and proceeded to look, I decided upon the Mac n Cheese and the Goat Cheese and prosciutto arugula sandwich. JP got the pork rib,his sister got the Patti Melt, and his mom got the bbq pulled pork. We decided to sit outside and enjoy the breeze and the casual outdoor ambiance. Our order came in short period of time and it looked amazing!! First I took a pic and then we all dug in! I have to say that Carmen's sandwich the pulled pork looked a mm d smelled the best, it tasted good too. I then tried the others and they were also good, and my goat cheese was definitely different but I wanted something unique and it was delicious too. The Mac and cheese was good, I wish it was warmer, but hey that what leftovers are for..a second go around. I ended up only eating half of my sandwich and half of the Mac, but I'm going to be hungry later so I'll try it again. It was a bit pricey, our bill came to $69.00. We informed the young lady there was not ketchup and she answered that her manager knew. There was no apology or care for not having the basic condiments for french fries.
