Down in Miami for the weekend visiting a friend and we found ourselves craving a good old grilled cheese. We hopped on Yelp, found Ms Cheezious and we were sold! I ordered the buffalo chicken melt with a side of tomato soup. My friend ordered the mackin melt. Food came out fast and hot. The sandwiches both looked pretty impressive, but when we dug in, we were let down with the taste. It wasn't bad, just not anything I would go out of my way to get again. I wasn't a fan of their tomato soup either, I found it was pretty acidic and just seemed like it needed something? 5 stars because not only did I love the food, they came out to support the response and recovery efforts to the Surfside Condo Collapse tragedy. They came nearly every day in their food truck and came prepared with three different food options to feed hundreds of response personnel who were working tirelessly in the hot sun and less-than great conditions. I fell in love with their chicken Caesar wrap, and my colleagues could not get enough of the meatball sub. The service was quick, too- did not have to wait more than 5 minutes after my order, even if I was ordering for a crowd. I drove a long way to check out this spot. I walked in, there were no customers. There was a lady worker talking on her cell phone, she didn't bother to hang up a greet me the customer. I love grilled cheese and had this for the first time today. The fries were a little salty but the the croqueta monsieur was delicious. Would definitely come back to eat that. Staff was friendly. It was not that busy but I see why parking would be a hassle if it was busy. It's also a little pricey. I recommend for anyone to try this and give it a whirl. This restaurant has been on our radar for years and we finally made it. Parking was kind of a pain, but I was happy to see how large the restaurant was, including their gorgeous outdoor area. Huge menu with lots of delicious options. In the end the husband and I decided to share the crab sandwich one and the patty melt one. We also got a side of fries. The crab one was okay. Lots of crab and good bread, but majority of flavor came from the sauce they provided with it. The party melt was awesome though. Two words - pimento cheese. We were looking for a quick bite to eat and ran across this place. I am a huge fan of Mac n' cheese, so naturally I was excited to try it! If I had the time and the belly for it, I would have stayed to try everything on the menu. There were all kinds of different melts, savory and sweet, and milkshakes as well. I got just the plain mac n' cheese and my boyfriend got the mac n' cheese melt. Both were delicious and pretty decent amounts. We sat out back, where there was a beautiful patio area equipped with lights, music, plants, and even a few kitties! I just tried to eat the nastiest, soggiest, most-burned sandwich I've ever had delivered in my life. The mozzarella sticks were tiny, dry, and gross. Ms Cheezious has a beautiful space here in MiMo, with a beautiful lush garden in the back where people can hang and have some beers, undisturbed and away from the hustle and bustle of Miami life. Obviously, I have eaten from the food truck, and to tell the truth, I was never really a follower. But when they opened the restaurant, the menu items added up. Also, I never understood why I was not "head over heels" for Ms Cheezious like everyone else, so I came to check them out, and maybe fix something wrong in my brain. But unfortunately, no, I am not crazy for most of the stuff. I do appreciate the skill they use when making the sandwiches, that is amazing, but I am not crazy for anything, except... you know it, the chicken waffle sandwich. Without having to go into detail, it is a really good sandwich. But really, what makes me come back is the ambiance of the restaurant. Thick, house chili pressed with fritos, onions, jalapeños and American cheese on sourdough bread. Don't knock it til you try it. And make sure you try it. But wait, there's more! They didn't forget about a dessert that has an indescribable amount of nostalgia tied to it for me. Yes, I'm talking about the s'mores melt. Chocolate hazlenut spread, roasted marshmallow, and graham cracker crumble all perfectly pressed on sourdough bread. As a bonus, you can order this with your main sandwiches, but the friendly staff will wait until you're ready for dessert to bring it to you, ensuring it's hot and gooey. For a few extra cherries on top, they have a variety of soda, beer, wine, and what I got last time, Awaken Nitro Cold Brew from Relentless Roasters. I also usually go with a side of sweet potato fries, for which they have a few different dipping sauces. Finally, that backyard area is what dreams are made of. I went there with my ex and my daughter on a Saturday (co-parenting is fun! Also, stupid! But whatevs...) we chose the location because The Citadel is not dog friendly, but this place was. I wasn't expecting much, but as I went towards the rear to use the bathroom, I discovered they had a back patio... and my entire world changed. You see, out back, not only did they have a DJ and/or a live band, but they also had a smoker. Like an actual, no shit side firebox smoker. And the thing that instantly brought a smile to my face? A charcoal chimney. This dude knows what he's doing. No lighter fluid to be found anywhere. Folks, I'm not going to lie; the brisket that Brian produced was quite possibly the best I've had outside of Texas and a few select Chicago locations (namely, my neighbor who was born and raised a Kansas City smoke master...) The brisket was moist and delicious. The ribs were outstanding (although they retained the rear membrane... but I'll let that slide.) The bbq beans were amazing, and the dill potato salad brought a smile to my face. The $3 PBR's didn't hurt either, as it was hotter than two cats having a romp in a wool sock outside. The entire experience was incredible, and I thank God, Allah, the Flying Spaghetti Monster and whomever else needed that we found this place... I WILL be coming back. Came here for a bite on Valentine night. There are only a few spaces to park in the front. The restaurant is a bit small but has a good vibe. You order at the front, they give you a number and take a seat. The area in the front is a bit small and when it got busy it was very cramped. I wish they would have table service instead. Would make it easier if you decide to order another beer or a glass of wine instead of having to stand in line again just for that. All that aside....I wanted the Chicken and Waffle melt but they were out so I opted for the for roasted turkey with fontina and rosemary honey on sourdough. The turkey was really good. Had a nice peppery exterior to it. The rosemary honey was amazing. It really elevated this grilled sandwich to a totally different level. This was an awesome surprise!!! I was at the Nordstrom's Holiday Event, in Boca, and to our surprise Ms. Cheezious truck was parked outside to have us leave with their delicious Grilled Cheese Sandwiches after all our shopping. The guys were really nice and quick serving everyone, no wait time at all. I ordered a Blue cheese and bacon grilled cheese, if you like salty food you will love this one. Strong cheese flavor, smokey bacon, and perfectly toasted bread. The fries were seasoned perfectly as well - no ketchup or extra salt needed. I went to the grand opening of the Miami Flower Market this past weekend, which I shall save for their review, and they got Ms. Cheezious to bring their food truck on out for the event. I was overjoyed and was the first in line ready to order. I ordered the crabby cheese melt and boy was that one of the best decisions of my life! Ok, that may be a tad extreme, but it definitely was a delicious choice. Served on sourdough bread with the real deal crab salad and cheddar cheese, this melt was on point. Ms. Cheezious provided tasty eats for an afternoon picnic during the FriendsWithYou Rainbow City installation during Art Basel. The line was long, but the wait time was reasonable. Plus, the staff inside taking our order was friendly and all smiles. My boyfriend ordered the Grilled Blue and Bacon (and also added turkey as an add-on). I took one bite and it was delicious! Savory and oh so cheesy. The flavors really worked well together in this sandwich. I ordered something a little sweeter; the Grilled Harvest. I was impressed because I was expecting the apple slices to be fresh and sort of crispy, but they were cooked and spiced (like an apple pie) which made for a comfort food type of sandwich. Plus, I love apple pie so this sandwich pleased my taste-buds immensely. This place has horrible service the people that work the take out at night are extremely rude especially someone named Bryan. He decided it would be a good idea to yell at, not only a long time customer but also a delivery driver as well. When Ms.Cheezious needs help with deliveries I'll make sure to skip or cancel any of their orders that will pop up. I will also let my college friends that work and live down the street how badly they treated me so that they can avoid it until they fix their staff problem. Really disappointed with how I was treated the first brick and motor they had and I was there opening day. I don't know what happened with the staff but they need to get it together. read more

This neighborhood seems to bifurcate between affordable delicious spots and pretentious overpriced BS (looking at you Blue Collar). This spot serve absolutely overstuffed massive sandwiches at very reasonable prices and delicious sides. The caprese and pesto sandwich is delicious. A very low key and relaxed atmosphere, you feel at home when you walk into Ms. Cheezious. Friendly staff, that are more than happy to help you with your selection. Ms. Cheezious offers cheap and easy food options for every taste bud. When I asked what I should order, the guy told me the Chicken + Waffle sandwich was his favorite, and it then became mine. The plate comes with just the sandwich and two sides for dipping. Delicious! I enjoyed every bite, and thought the sandwich alone was enough to satisfy. This is a great cheese melts shop. But instead of going for one of those pressed melty sandwiches, I went to try the chicken & waffles. In a sandwich. SOUTHERN FRIED CHICKEN & WAFFLE MELT: fried chicken and cheddar on house-made buttermilk waffles with house-made country gravy and maple syrup. A Southern classic in a sandwich. Ironically, I've never been a very big fan of chicken & waffles, and I've had it in many places - but I actually like their rendition here in sandwich form. It could be that in a sandwich they have to find the right ratio. It could be that the house-made waffles and gravy are tasty. It could be that the tasty and moist fried chicken was well brined before being fried. And it could be that everything tastes better with cheese. Or it could be... that it's a good sandwich to begin with. :) I also liked that they grow some things in their little garden in the back for their products. If you weren't a big fan of the food truck you may want to rethink now that it's a brick & mortar establishment, with a more complete menu and a great place to just hang out with friends, paying $8-$10 for a grilled cheese sandwich doesn't seem so absurd anymore. This is especially true if you head out to the back on a nice day, it's a great place to drink and chill with friends. Their one weak spot that I'm sure they can fix is the mac & cheese, it's a little too ordinary and really should be something that stands out considering cheese is the focus here. We were staying at the Vagabond Hotel and wanted to go somewhere chill near the hotel for dinner one night. This place is just across the street (though it's a pretty treacherous street to cross, as traffic on Biscayne Blvd. won't stop for pedestrians), and had an interesting neon sign, and lots of people coming and going, plus it was recommended by hotel staff. Right now it's carry out only because of the COVID-19 pandemic, which was too bad because it had an interesting atmosphere. Most, if not all, of the menu consists of cheese sandwiches. I ordered a turkey and cheese sandwich with a side of tomato soup (for dipping!) I was surprised how substantial/heavy the sandwich was, as I expected something more on par with Panera's "pick two" menu. I live right by this spot, have been to it about 5 times in past 8 years. Just went today. Was pleasantly surprised. It's clean, and I know it, but it was empty and I so rarely go that I just wasn't expecting it to be great. It was great. Very nice and helpful front attendant. Food was fast for take out, I ordered while there. Options available are great. Food taste and quality was above good. They have a great simply not huge smash burger. Wings were very good flavor.
