Active Concrete Pacific

Th owner of Active Concrete Pacific, "Billy", is dishonest in his business dealings from A to Z…read more On 9/19/18, he offered next day service with advance payment of $750.00 Fast payment was the only way to get the job done before winter. "Billy" cashed the check within hours, but did not send his crew to get the contracted job done, not the next day or any other day. He strung me along from the fall of 2018 through the summer of 2019. Following many phone calls from me, if he answered the phone (and that was hit and miss) he would make an appointment, I would change my schedule, and he would not show up! When he did show up once without his crew, it was to try to get more money than the negotiated price covering materials and labor to fix some cracks in a concrete driveway, level out two concrete steps that collected rainwater, and then seal the driveway and concrete steps and walkway. Only twice did anyone show up to do the crack and step repairs. The first time was in late fall of 2018, the crack repair looked good, but the weather had changed and it was too cold to apply sealer. I suggested that we be Billy's first job in the spring of 2019. He readily agreed, but did not call me in the spring. When I called him, he "remembered", but his lack of performance was the same. A second crack and step repair was not done until August of 2019, and it was sloppy. Billy did not send his crew to complete the repairs or to seal the concrete. In summary, "Billy" ripped me off! In order to get the sealer on before the winter of 2019 (a full year after I paid him!), we had to do complete the crack and step repairs ourselves, as well as purchase the sealer and apply it ourselves! Do yourself a huge favor, and steer clear of "Billy" and Active Concrete Pacific. Giving Active Concrete Pacific one star is one star too many!

My wife and I had always wanted to try axe throwing and we were not disappointed. After a couple minutes of instruction we were set loose on our own. We were warned that we may have to have share the 2 targets we were using with another couple but that didn't happen. It was a fun way to have date night and we will return and bring our friends!

If you haven't tried axe throwing yet, you should! It's fun and it can be very competitive. This…read moreplace is indoors, so all-year-round fun! This place is fairly new. It was an old video store before behind Holiday gas station. I've done axe throwing before in the east coast and this place is much more affordable. You pay per lane, per hour. We ended up using two lanes for a party of 6. Two lane is required for 5-8 guests. If you have friends who don't want to risk it with an axe, they have some games in the sitting area like jenga, giant jenga and giant connect four. The staff is very laid back. They give instructions and for the newbies, they watch to see if you're throwing it right so you can stick the axe to the board. Then, once all practice throws are done, the game begins! They offer different games so that your group can enjoy a little axe throwing competition. They have small chalkboard to keep score, so get your game face ready. It's definitely a fun activity to do with a group of people, competitive or not. Although, they do have leagues, for you hungry competitors. So give it a throw! I know I will again! TIP: Wear closed-toe shoes. It's BYOB!!! (No hard liquors though. Stick with beer and Prosecco!)
