Not Blue Moose! Not only did they give us a discount, but they went out of there way to find us Curtis's favorite 2 colors to make the shirts in. Then to top it off, they designed the banners with the ALASKA state flag in the background designing it themselves with our approval. They worked overtime making all of this happen for us before the start of the Iditarod with a discounted rate to boot. DO NOT USE THIS SHOP!!!!! BE WARNED!!!…read more I'll begin with this. Alec (the owner) is very unprofessional. The store is an unorganized mess. The owner is lazy, will not follow timelines/deadlines, will not respond to e-mails or texts, and will blatantly lie about actually working on your project. He will waste your time and money. First time I decided to use this shop, I had called and asked what the turn-around time was for a custom stamp. I was told 1-2 days. A week later, it took me calling Alec (the owner) and letting him know I was on my way to pick the stamp up for them to actually work on it. When I showed up, the stamp was NOT finished, and he was still trying to put it together; so I had to sit there even longer and wait for him to finish the $40 stamp. During this time, he pulled out another unsuspecting victims work order out of a random, unorganized pile of papers. The second time, Alec had agreed to work on a holy matrimony certificate I needed. We agreed on a 1 week turn around time, I gave him multiple examples of what I needed them to similarly look like, and left it at that. When it was time to pick up the item, it was NOT done. When i called, he said it wasn't finished and he needed an extra few hours to get it done. An hour before closing, without any callback, I decided to call him to see if it was done. I had a flight out that night, so I spent the majority of the afternoon(hours) waiting on this guy. 2 hours after closing, I walked in to the store to get my item, and Alec was sitting there, kicking it with his boy's eating pizza. Startled, he looked at me and said, "I wasn't able to get it done. I just didn't have time to get to it. I'm just now sitting down for my lunch." and laughed. I was irritated to say the least. He promised me to have it done over the weekend and get it to me by Monday so he could actually sit down to work on it. Now, out of the state, I relied on his promise. But of course, when Monday arrived, nothing. Multiple text and calls served no purpose to this guy. The night before I needed the certificate, when there was absolutely NO TIME to do anything about it by anyone else, he had one of his female employees call and leave me a message saying they were not able to do it because of "copyright" issues. This is supposed to be a professional, experienced print shop. If "copyright" was an issue, he would not have agreed to do the work, make a number of fake promises, false claims, and made up stories. Again, DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS. You will get a large, overpriced stamp that reads "DISAPPOINTMENT".

Here is why I can't say the house was cleaned to my expectations: Each cleaner worked in her own area but as far as I could tell no one did a run-through at the end to make sure nothing was forgotten. Most of the cabinet faces were washed but not all. The front of the kitchen peninsula was neglected and that is a biggie as it faces the living areas. The window seals and ledges were still dusty. I went around and cleaned what they missed and wasn't even too sad about that. At this point I would've gladly given them 4 stars and maybe even 5. The part that was dumbfounding to us was they didn't clean the freezer section of the fridge. It's a combo fridge andin my other houses I've never had a deep cleaner *not* wipe down the freezer part. When I realized the freezer had been forgotten, I called to let them know and the response came back as texts. She told me we asked for the fridge to be cleaned but didn't mention the freezer. I could pick up the slack on the other things that got overlooked but due to a medical challenge I cannot clean a freezer. At the end she offered (again, via text) to send someone back (for an undisclosed price) but it's been 4 days and I've still heard nothing back. More than anything I'm disappointed because we paid a considerable amount of money and it seems no one from White Lilac cared enough to tie up loose ends. Again, I feel like the ladies did a fine job; the problem is with the way the service is run. Someone should walk through the property at the end to ensure no one forgot anything. And maybe next time someone asks to have their fridge cleaned, you can get the customer to specify about the freezer so you don't run into this problem again. By the way, just to make sure we weren't up in the night, I happened to be in a meeting the next day and all 14 ppl agreed that in their minds, cleaning a fridge that's a combo means cleaning the freezer too. I would recommend this service but with the caveats that the customer needs to be very specific about what they want cleaned and someone needs to be there to make sure everything was cleaned.

I purchased more, (this is the second year the vinyl letters have not made it through the winter) but they wanted to charge me $75 for installation. Seventy five dollars to stick 4 letters on my car that took me less than 5 minutes to apply. Last year, they replaced the letters for free. I had sent them an email asking them to design, make and install a new sign for my business. This would have easily been a $1,000-4,000 job. When the lady called to inquire about it, I told her I was a little hesitant to continue business with them because of the unfair pricing from my previous purchase. She told me there are other businesses in town that do a great job and would love to have my business and hung up the phone. This shocked me because I have been a good customer with them for many years and have sent several other businesses their way. Their "I could care less about your experience with us and see ya later attitude" really saddened me and for this reason, I will be seeking another sign business in the future. I worked with this company for 6 months and was one of their bigger clients (marketing, ad campaign, web hosting etc). Their methods seemed outdated by I trusted them and gave them time to deliver. There provided zero results and they didn't know how to explain it or how to improve it. But that's not the worst part. After I canceled the work with them they still charged me for services and when I talked to Ken Okoneck, the founder, he promised to refund me. After few weeks of no follow through I talked to him again and he asked to pay me back in two payments. I agreed. He then disappeared and have stopped returning messages.
