We only have a few months left, and do not want to buy a washer for a house we will not be living in so we were really stressed about what we were going to do. This place is close to our house, and we feel so lucky because they have made a stressful situation seem so easy. There are so many washers and dryers there and it is easily customizable. You can be there for as long as you want/need. There is an app you pay with, and it keeps time of the machines you are using. We usually have 2-3 loads a week and have had no trouble finding machines. Typically, we put our laundry in, walk over to our gym for 30 minutes, come back to put our clothes in the dryer, and finish our workout for the last hour. It is so clean in there and they have a lot of areas for folding. You can purchase laundry supplies there and the women working there are so kind. The owner Steve is also very friendly and very helpful. We love it here!

The machines at the back use "Universal Laundry Symbols" instead of having instructions in English. This was confusing to me, but the wonderful staff person was eager to assist. The Ozone machines at the front will get even the dirtiest laundry clean. The TVs are loud, but the remote control is within reach and I carry earplugs anyway. The equipment is in good-enough repair. I don't see broken machines sitting there for weeks on end. The environment is kept clean. The restroom is spacious and it always has TP and paper towels. The change machines always work, or you can use a credit card. I think it's the best laundromat in Lawrence!

Cheapest washer is $5.50. 3) Although there was no attendant visible for my first 20 or so minutes, he did come out and start cleaning everything in sight! Con: 1) No attendant around when I arrived so had to ask other customers how to do everything, even how to open and close the machines. 2) Hard to find pricing signage. 3) Attendant said there has been no air-conditioning since June despite the signs outside saying "cool and comfy." And the fans inside are not sufficient. 4) $1 worth of drying (the minimum) didn't begin to get anything dry in 20 minutes on high setting. 5) Machines weren't being watched by the people using them, so very hard to find an available washer or dryer, even though their cycles had finished. Six dryers sat idle for a long time, with several people wanting to use them. 6) Screaming children running around. Would I return? Probably not at any busy time of the day. The cleanliness was the biggest positive.

Large number of washers of many different sizes with helpful signs on them. Large number of dryers too. Only a few had out of service signs, whether operational or not, as I found out, is another story. There was a pile of Out of Service signs so I was able to notify; I didn't see any phone number to call. Three quarters for 24 minutes got my clothes bone dry. My second load, I used two quarters and got them dry enough. Impressive! Bathroom, again, old, but clean enough. There was a change machine, Ms. Pac Man, soda machine and a TV (it was off, but someone came in and figured out how to turn it on). Vending machine was empty, but there was a M&M dispenser which is all the candy I really need. Which brings up whether there was soda in the machine, I don't know, not my thing.
