Beware! They have hidden fees they will add to the price of your car. The first is what they call a…read moreDocument Fee ( $749.50 ) which is nothing more than a pure profit straight to the ownership of the dealership and nothing more. The second one called Total Care Plus ( $895 ) which are dealer fees and a pure profit to the dealership, but they give you tire and wheel protection, five chip repairs in your windshield, five paintless dent removals in the vertical panels on the vehicle, and coverage of the air conditioning compressor and condenser for the first 15,000 miles that you own the vehicle. They will NOT let you opt out of the Total Care Plus! So, if you are going to buy a car from a Shottenkirk dealership be prepared that you are handing them $1,644.50 on top of the profit they are making on the vehicle. Remember also, if you financing through them that they are making money on the back end of the deal as well. They make money on financing, on an extended warranty, and on any accessories that you purchase ( which can have a huge mark up ). They have more hidden fees than any other dealership that I've ever dealt with. Good luck in your next auto purchase.

We thought it was due to the cold weather and figured the alternator would help charge the battery. We had several errands to run and decided at the last minute to stop by AutoZone and get another battery if they had one in stock. We have used this store in the past. The store had a battery in stock. We were glad to hear that. Hubs paid for the battery and a store employee came outside to replace the battery. He told my husband the alternator wasn't working and the new battery was draining as the car was running. We didn't have any lights telling us the old battery was low nor did we have lights to tell us the new battery was low. I suggested we drive home and go to Shottenkirk first thing in the morning. Kudos to AutoZone for having the battery in stock! As for their employee and his tester, we are not sure if the employee doesn't know how to use the machine ir the machine is bad. Shottenkirk checked out the car and said everything works well.

Hubs went inside the store and spoke with the Shinerz employee about the Lexus dealership's recommendation. The employee showed my husband what he was looking for and recommended special microfiber cloths to use on my Lexus. My husband bought the products he went to buy and the special microfiber cloths. Those cloths are not like any microfiber cloth I have seen in the past. If you want to protect the paint on your vehicles and like easy cleanup, please stop by Shinerz. They stock what you need to get your car shiny and new looking.

Then scheduled someone to drive me to and from repair shop. At 10:30 I get a call and someone tell me to bring it in sooner if I want it done today. Rescheduled with the friend who is taking time out of her busy life to help me and brought it in at 11am. Well close to 3pm I call to check the status and they have not even looked at it. At 4:10 I get a call it's ready and we drive over. No conversation about the car as I'm paying the bill. It was just over a hundred. ($110) I'm like, "Why was it so cheap"? He mumbles something about the guy didn't know how to fix it. They didn't fix my car, just took 5 hours to do an expensive incidental oil change. Then I get into the car and theres 2 big grease marks on the ceiling and the seats are changed the odometer is up and the AC is blasting. So unless you have a ton of time and money to waste go somewhere else. Remarkably inconsiderate. They could of said upfront they don't do those kind of repairs and probably would have if I didn't throw in an oil change. An oil change I could do a couple shops down in 10 minutes. Now I have to ask once again for help from a friend and nuke yet another day.
