Natasha, a manager over the Southlake salon said no way could their hair dyes or bonding treatments used at store and recommended and sold to me for home use could cause this. I asked her to look at my long beautiful hair in their photos from 2025 and each time leading up to October 2026. She said Over-proteinizing can occur when the hair is coated with protein, which can make it brittle and lead to breakage. She said Bonding Time does not heavily rely on the use of protein, but did not say how much protein is in it nor how their beauticians applying it frequently to my hair and them supplying it in salon for use when blow drying our own hair and at home use on top of that can add up. Instead of saying this is possible with my hair, when I went only to their southlake tx hair color salon for over a year, and they sold me the bonding time pro products for home use and services and products used during and after each coloring at madison pro southlake tx with no warning about overuse. The last hair color there October 2026 made my hair tangle extremely and had to cut knots out. Zero elasticity in hair. Natasha said it was not possible for them to damage my hair. She literally sent me a list of chemicals in the dyes and bonding time pro and told me to ask my doctor about my fried hair and these chemicals, like a physician would know. This was not an allergic reaction so no doctor can help me. It is the duty of the Texas board certified beauticians and the owners of the salon. She said it's my duty to figure out what went wrong with my hair, even after going exclusively to Madison Reed Southlake for over a year and only using or buying their recommended hair products for home use or supplied by them to use during and after color each time. They did not offer to deep clense or deep condition my hair which is the treatment for too much protein in hair ! I don't do this every week just for special occasions and when I have health issues that prevent me from doing it for myself. So this time it's because I broke 2 bones in my hand and cannot do my own hair. Make an appointment that way you don't have to wait. They will accept walk ins. You will experience someone shampooing your hair and massage of your scalp; feels so good. Then they will blow out your hair and style it the way you want. It's a great feeling walking out with your hair styled and clean. The good news for me is that it lasts a few days so it's worth the money. The cost for a blow out is $40 + tip. Not bad! Really happy to have this service.

The girl didn't wash my hair well at all, the whole area around my head was still dry when she finished so I had to ask her to actually wash my hair again then she didn't rinse the soap out. I had to ask two more times to rinse it because I could touch my hair and bubbles were all over my fingers. Then she was the slowest/worst ever at blow drying. I only had an hour break and tried to help her because it was literally barely dry and she hadn't styled it at after an hour. They wouldn't let me help and I had to leave with half dry/frizzy/itchy unrinsed hair. Then they argued with me at the front about how the girl who did my hair is the best and is never usually slow like wth?! I've never gone back, this place should be shut down.

Let me just say that there is nothing worse than having to hunt down a hairstylist. Rest assured…read morethat Heather is THE best at what she does! And that says a lot...I am extremely picky about who touches my hair. With Heather, I can simply sit in her chair comfortably knowing she will effortlessly cut my super thick hair and make it look great! She has many years of experience, loves styling hair and actually listens to her clients. In the past I'd gone to several different salons to find 'the one' and no one even compares. Now I drive all the way from Forney to Southlake just for Heather. Do your hair a favor and go see Heather at Studio 125 Salon. She will not disappoint!!!

After overpaying for color that was not even close to what I wanted (and then having one of the owners try to "fix" it and only making it worse) at a well-known salon in Dallas, I decided to give Philip a whirl last fall. I'm about as low-maintenance as they get when it comes to color... or at least that's what I like to think. I have left every appointment with Philip SO happy with my color, and we haven't even gotten around to totally fixing it (I've been out of town so much and haven't had time) to what I originally wanted at the other place a year ago, but my hair looks fantastic and I always feel SO much better leaving Studio 125. Not only that, but Philip is awesome at making just the right amount of conversation and doesn't make you feel awkward when (like me) you have to keep working while in the chair. So... you want good color? Go see Philip at Studio 125... I'm planning on doing it tomorrow! :)

Plus, I love that if she knows something won't look good for me, she WILL tell me. Along with hair she does makeup and has her own line! I had been looking for a good bronzer for the longest time, wasting money on things that just didn't look right. She takes one look at me and the first bronzer shade she picks up from her line was EXACTLY what I was looking for! She's been doing makeup for models for so long that she just knows what works and what doesn't. Knowing Simaria for 7 years as my stylist...and now friend...I have followed her wherever her career took her. It has always been clear that she loves what she does!
