Great staff & venue. We did our Hyrox Simulation yesterday in their gym. It was worth it. The equipments are top of the line. Highly recommended!

I started working out at MROC in February of 2023. My wife and I have done Spartan Races for years but wanted to take it to the next level. What we found at MROC is a staff of highly skilled coaches, clean well-maintained facilities, a great community of people, and great class-based and open gym training. The gym has a lot of unique equipment to specialize in full body, HIIT style training, and a full-blown recovery lab with rollers, massage guns, Normatec dynamic recovery compression gear, and more. One thing I love about MROC is the way it caters to people of all different fitness levels, goals, and abilities. Want to win your next Obstacle Course Race? The team at MROC can get you there. Haven't been to a gym before and need help getting started? The MROC team will take you under their wings too. Highly recommend MROC for anyone looking for a gym in North County San Diego.

If you're training for an OCR, wanting to get into shape, or just be a total badass then this is the place to be! The facility itself has every obstacle you'll encounter in an OCR, minus the mud. There's also plenty of barbells, free weights, and cardio machines. The staff at MROC are highly skilled ninjas pushing and encouraging you to be better than you were when you started. My favorite coach is Mel. She'll challenge you but she's got your back! The community is welcoming and friendly. Just say hi! I appreciate how they put my name on the welcome board. It's those little details that made my experience here so memorable. I love OCR so I plan to come back regularly, especially for their skills clinics which they host every few weeks. Class size is limited to ensure that each student gets enough time to practice specific obstacles. Go to MROC. You'll have fun!

They love you so much, you get Birthday Burbees post workout instead of cake!

MROC places emphasis on Team building, self responsibility, putting in your work, giving top of the line Coaching and varied workouts, and mostly making sure you get out what you put in. Very intense workouts including OCR simulation/Time Trials, to obstacles mixed with HIIT, strength, mobility, and cardio. Skills clinics are also available periodically on obstacles to running to nutrition. All the staff makes sure you have the available tools to become burbee free for your next Spartan Race or just kick you butt into shape and lead a healthier lifestyle.

Amazing one of a kind gym! Has helped me cross train for events and the Army AFT. I've seen immediate improvements.

They really should update their hours on ClassPass. This should be a one-star review, but I am not a member so I thought it to be unfair to leave such a low rating. I truly want to like this place, as the owner is amazing and workouts are effective, but it falls way below my expectations. The Wednesday I did get to experience the full body workout, it was super fun! I left quite sore from shoveling with weights and throwing medicine balls around. There were two members with me, so our group was small. I really liked that because the coach could correct my form quickly for me. Two of the three times I signed up through ClassPass, nobody showed up. One was a 5:15 am class, the other was a 5:00 pm. It seems the very thing I initially loved about this gym is the thing that's causing classes to not be held- there's not enough members to make it worth their time to keep them open. Overall, I would love to return to workout with these guys, but I don't really like sitting and waiting in an empty industrial park by myself, wondering if the class is going to happen or not.

This is the best boot camp gym that I've ever been a part of (and I've been a part of quite a few…read moregyms and boot camps)!! The coaches connect with you on a personal level and care about your fitness journey. Every day is different and will challenge your body in a whole new way. I joined with the 21 Day Detox program and it has changed my eating habits in ways that I never imagined. I absolutely recommend this gym to anyone looking for accountability, commitment, and encouragement! I still have another 50 pounds to lose and I'll continue training here because I know that I can make it happen!

It's a true local gem -- super friendly, full of down‑to‑earth people who are there for the same reason we are: to get better, stay motivated, and support each other. The atmosphere is welcoming from day one. No egos, no pressure -- just a community of normal people who genuinely want to see you win. The facilities are always clean and well taken care of, and you can tell the owners put their heart into everything they do. Every event, every update, every detail shows how much they care about creating something special. Hands down the best gym in town. 100% recommended.

When I first started, I'll admit--I had a lot of anxiety because gyms can be intimidating! But after just a short time here, I realized NCFP is the complete opposite of scary. The instructors are incredibly friendly and supportive. They're great about helping you maintain good form and encouraging you to push yourself, but without ever making you feel pressured. One of my favorite things is how they always offer modifications for exercises, so no matter your comfort level or experience, you can still get a great workout. You're encouraged to go at your own pace, which makes such a difference for anyone who's new or nervous. The classes are usually set up in 4 stations with 2-3 exercises each, which keeps it simple but effective. The workouts change every day, so it never feels repetitive, and I've honestly started looking forward to my classes every week. I only go 2-3 times a week, but it has completely transformed my health. When I first started, I couldn't do a single pushup--now I can do 10+! I want to give a huge shoutout to the coaches--everyone is amazing, but I especially enjoy my time with Atheena & Mike. Mike always brings such great energy and gives me a boost of confidence, and Atheena gives the best instruction on form and technique. If you're anxious, shy, or new to working out, I cannot recommend this gym enough. The classes give you structure, the coaches give you guidance, and you can still keep to yourself if you want--yet somehow, you'll still feel part of the community. I've even started saying hi to people in class now! The flexible class times are another huge plus--whether you're an early bird who wants to work out at 4 AM or a night owl like me, they have you covered. One year ago, I couldn't picture myself this strong or confident, and I truly have NCFP to thank for that.
