They take time to set goals and plans for overall fitness journey success as a member (what ever that looks like to the individual). I LOVE burn Oside! I came from Burn Pensacola- my husbands military so we transferred here and my membership location was able to be switched easily. So if you're military you can bring your membership with you wherever you may end up :) They have lots of different class schedule times, workouts are all planned out and shown to you. You'll never feel lost or confused during the workout so it's not intimidating at all if you're new to exercise. My favorite part is their child watch team. It helps to have an amazing group of women watching over my child while I can focus on myself for a hour working out. So it's been a week now and I've attended class on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday (I NEEDED that rest day on Wednesday!). Erica has been the consistent, smiling, encouraging face I've seen practically every day. She's such a great trainer and helps to keep everyone motivated and positive. The workouts are tough but fun! The 45 minutes goes by really fast and it's cool to be paired up with random people (so you can make a few friends along the way). I've personally been working out hard on my own (at an unnamed "cheap" gym) since mid-January and have made consistent progress (1.5 lb per week loss). While I haven't lost more than my average of this past week, I know for a fact that I'm working harder than if I had on my own. I feel more sore but at the same time more powerful. Plus I've been making friends along the way compared to going at it on my own. I'm looking forward to continuing to challenge myself and grow within the Burn community! read more

The minute you start your first day you will feel like you are apart of a large family. The workouts kick my butt and are so fun! They have a child watch program that I cannot speak more highly of. I have an 11 month old daughter and this was her first exposure to a childcare setting, ever! They worked with her and after only a few days she started smiling going in. Burn Bootcamp Oceanside is the best in the fitness industry! The team of trainers feel more like friends. So when they push you to your limits, you know it's out of love. I am currently 28 weeks pregnant and I am planning on sticking with it as long as physically possible. Then picking right back up after baby comes and I am cleared! I signed up because my normal gym is still closed and because I couldn't stop seeing people post them in their stories. Honestly I was a little intimidated because I'm so used to working out alone and at my own pace but MY GOSH am I glad that they kicked my butt! They have everything that you will do written on a white board when you arrive (outdoors under a giant tent) so that you know what's coming. I also really like that they have an app that lets you sign up for class times and reminds you when they are. There is plenty of social distancing going on and for all the parents out there, they provide child care!
