Very welcoming atmosphere will definitely be back. The group was really nice and so was the coach. Definitely worth checking out.

If your looking or considering a gym or just a different style of workout! Well look no further this gym is it! Honestly I've been to other "Corp" gyms and they COMPARE nothing/nada to this place. My story is that I was looking for a gym and was very skeptical of ANY because I was already let down by 4x other gyms. My sister n law introduced me to her gym. I was like ya ya ya ... whatever! Mind you that when I was considering a gym I was already 158lbs and with all sorts of medical diagnosis like diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, bad eating habits and other sorts. I started the gym with a "Try before you Buy" 3-4 week trial offer in April 2019. Hey can't beat that so I paid it. Well a little after doing the trial there was a gym challenge that was starting in May 2019. I went to the meeting for those who were joining the challenge. I could see there were people who had been there before "members" because the were SO HAPPY to be there?! Why are these people so happy! They were very NICE and genuinely cared that you were doing the challenge. It was really odd to me because at the other 4 "Corp" gyms staff and club members didn't give two hoots why you even existed or let alone in their gym. Of course there was paperwork for the challenge to fill out. I declined to join the gym initially because I had doubts and only wanted to do the "challenge". I said if this gym can prove to me that they aren't like any other then I'll join , but time will only tell. After the challenge was over I lost weight and I was impressed with what this gym had to offer me and joined the gym. This is a new lifestyle of health , food habits and a new love for myself. Well from April to now Sept 2019. I'm at 141lbs and still reaching for a realistic goal and all medical numbers have gone down! Ya! I have two 5k's under my belt and signing up for more. Weekly runs with awesome people that I genuinely like to be around. This gym is really like a family all ages and all sizes. Literally there is NO Judgement here ,but you will get a lot of ENCOURAGEMENT from all members , coaches and the owner himself. Give this place a try and you to will be hash tagging #love_my_fit_fam Call today you won't regret it. read more

Vista Fit - Boot Camps Near Me - Vista, California

I honestly cannot say enough good things about Vista Fitness; if you need a regular workout schedule that is both challenging and fun, and if you also like receiving encouragement (not judgment) from your fellow gym-classmates, this is the place for you. When I first joined Vista Fitness, I was not in very good shape ...... I had COPD, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, high blood sugar, high sodium, and acid reflux. I was taking a fistful of meds each day, and using an inhaler to help me breathe. My doctor told me in January that without improvement, I would not live to see my granddaughter graduate from high school. I've never heard anything more sobering. In May, I joined an eight-week challenge at Vista Fitness, and enjoyed it so much I joined the gym full time ...... 15 weeks later, I've lost 55 pounds, 9.5% body fat, and 24 total inches. I recently had my six month checkup, and all my vitals, YES ALL OF THEM, are in the normal range again. The doctor cancelled my prescriptions, and told me she'd never seen someone go from zero to hero that fast. So while I'm still not exactly a bantam weight, and often wilt in the heat during workout sessions, the doctor says I am no longer a prime candidate for stroke and heart failure. Consequently, my wife had to postpone her around-the-world-cruise-with-the-insurance-money plans, because the program at Vista Fitness does work...and you get out of it what you put into it. But I am not the only success story at Vista Fitness. During the recent 35-day fitness challenge that ended on Sunday 9/15/2019, the 90+ participants achieved the following: --Average Weight Lost - 9.0 lbs. --Average BF Lost - 2.3% --Average Inches Lost - 7.0" These are staggeringly good results for such a large group in 35 days, but what's even more remarkable are the people you'll meet and the support you'll receive. Vista Fitness is staffed and attended by some of the most remarkable people I've ever met. I can't remember when I've had more fun being part of a club; there is something here for everyone; daily Boot Camp workouts, "Fight Club" self-defense training, Yoga, Run Club, Track workouts, weekend hikes......even the occasional adult beverage. If you can't find something you like and someone to bond with at Vista Fitness, you're simply not trying. So whether you need to lose 5lbs or 50lbs, give Vista Fitness a try; I give them my highest five-star recommendation. And if you should find yourself in a dire medical situation like mine, you've got absolutely nothing to lose. Remember, a goal without a plan is just a wish......let Vista Fitness be the plan; you will not be sorry. read more

I've been part of VFBBC for a year now...and love it! Since the moment I joined both staff and peeps have treated me like family...like friends. And that's what this place is, not just another gym or boot camp, but a place where I've developed new friends and been inspired by so many stories. The workouts are amazing! It's interval training and you sweat and sweat! Everybody pushes you to the next level always making sure you prevent injuries and don't hurt yourself. The team challenges are a great way to stay focus, eat healthy and enjoy a big celebration at the end of it. Come and check it out, you'll love it! read more

Vista Fit - My progress back from our New Year's Revolution challenge. I lost overall 15lbs and kept them off since March 2017. - Boot Camps Near Me - Vista, California

I've been working out for years. I've tried the typical gyms with their classes, and treadmills, and never really had much of a change-only sustaining where I was at. I did the CrossFit thing for 5 years, bouncing up and down with weight and strength-depending on who owned the gym at the time. Enter Vista Fitness! I joined this gym after my husband lost 20 pounds in a challenge at the beginning of the year! If he had this great change, I knew I could make changes too. One of the biggest things I like about this gym versus others, the family feeling you get here. Whether you go once a week or twice a day, people know you, they remember you, and they hold you accountable to what your fitness goals are. That's only possible because of the way the owner Brian does things around here. He's chosen incredible coaches to do the same! Each one of them shows how truly invested they are in your success. If you're looking for a gym to call home, this is it. Don't look any further. You'll get everything you need here. Running, Lifting, Bootcamps, Meal Plans, Challenges, even Cryotherapy!!! This gym is now called Vista Athletic Club. https://vistaathleticclub.com/ I've loved working out here the last year. Live online sessions and lots of in person classes. Fun workouts and great down to earth people. It's like a family here which really helps keep me motivated to stay healthy. A great small business to support! Check it out! I'm glad I'm the first to review Vista Fit Body Boot Camp on Yelp! I've signed up for other fitness "clubs" in North County in the last 13 years - even other boot camps. However, none have made me feel as "at home" or as welcome as Brian, Michelle and Gabe. Let me break it down! Brian and Michelle are the owners - they are true Vistans and really embrace the community spirit. Not onlyin the club, but in the actual community! Every Saturday, they do a free community boot camp at Buena Vista Park - and yes, I did type "F-R-E-E"! They held a member's appreciation night to recognize the charter members of the club. Again, they truly make everyone feel like they are part of the family. And they care about more than just your pocketbook - they truly care about your fitness (physical and holistically)! Brian was even featured in the Vista Chamber of Commerce's 40 Under 40 magazine this past summer! Then there's Coach Gabe. What can I say about him! This guy is totally off the chain! He is a CERTIFIED NASM personal trainer. He doesn't just shout directions at everyone - he breaks down the moves to make sure everyone is doing them right - to assure we are getting the work out we need, but more importantly, that everyone is safe. He is very compassionate and not just one of those "jocks"! Again, I'm back to the whole sense of community. I've been going to the 5:15 am class since I first started. When I walked in the first day, my first thought was "oh no, I totally do not see myself fitting into this group". However, I was totally mistaken and INSTANTLY taken in. If your're looking for professionalism, family, commitment, humor and a gym that is interested in more than your pocketbook - this is the place for you! read more

At no point in my life have I considered myself a "gym person". But... I sure as heck now consider myself a Vista Fit Body Boot Camp person! Through VFBBC, I've found a group of like minded and supportive individuals that are quickly becoming friends - not to mention a wonderful group of coaches/trainers. HIIT is where it's at; I'm never bored and always pushing myself to make new iterative gains. No one has ever made me feel bad about needing to modify certain exercises due to injury or lack of strength at a given point in my journey; however, they do keep pushing me "just outside" my comfort zone so that I keep making progress - and that's awesome. Having finished a 6wk "challenge" event, I just signed up for an 18mo membership. I'm committed and convinced. I look forward to going every morning (or at least look forward to that euphoric feeling at the end!) and can't wait to see what my body can do going forward. I'm already much leaner and more toned. I have better posture and complexion. I sleep more and more soundly. And, yes, I'm damn well enjoying watching the scale go down; I can fit my "aspiration pants" again after 5yrs! I've tried morning, afternoon and weekend warrior boot camps with different coaches, as well as Monday night yoga and Wednesday night run club. Everything has been great- welcoming, yet challenging to people of all different skill levels. Primary advice: Stop debating. Get It! Secondary advice: Watch out for "Sally"... read more

It's amazing to think that six months ago I change my life. I walked in out of shape and very nervous and now I walk in with confidence getting better every day feeling better every day and eating better every day! I've made some great friends as I stay in shape, that it was so impressive to my family that my wife started working out and now her lifestyle is on fire. Don't wait another hour. read more

Best decision I've made for my mind, body and overall health in a long time was joining the family at Vista Fit Body Boot Camp My journey started by seeing a post on a friends Facebook page about a New Years Revolution starting in three days at Vista Fit Body Boot Camp. I had seen the change in my friend, and I needed a change. I was at the heaviest I had ever been (250 LBS), was drinking too much and had not run a race in 14 months. Fast forward 5 weeks and 3 days, the start of week 6, I have been following the menu plan pretty closely, made at least 1 boot camp workout every day and started getting miles on my feet running. This has been an amazing 5 weeks, the support and encouragement from everyone here has been more than I could have hoped for, As far as goals and accomplishments, I'm half way to my goal weight of 190, running (with a little walking) the San Diego Half Marathon in 3 weeks and have not had a drop of alcohol (other than to cook with) since the start. Now the journey continues, the final week of the challenge, time to push to the finish, my favorite part not because it's over but because it becomes time to focus on the next accomplishments, more weight loss, more strength, 6th Ragnar Relay, faster Half Marathon, finishing another full marathon and maybe qualify for Boston. If you're wanting to make a change in your life give Brian a call, you won't regret it. But be careful you may have fun, accomplish goals and make new friends. One thing I know for sure Vista Fit Body Boot Camp will be a part of many more of my accomplishments. read more

I joined Vista Fit back in April 2019 with motivation to participate in a "Challenge " I lost OVER 10 lbs. lbs in the 8-week Challenge participation. Part of the challenge was also diet, of course, for which I cut out ALL carbs, ate a lot of protein/meats, veggies, cheeses, fresh fruit and at least three 30-oz Yetis of water(infused is best) per day- yes, I peed a LOT! The only other drink was iced tea, and on weekends I was still able to enjoy my 2glasses of Sauvignon Blanc or Pinot Grigio (which has the least calories). And of course, EVERY WEEKDAY a daily boot camp workout = that was KEY!! VF also gives the option of a Saturday AM Weekend Warrior Workout which includes members AND their families to participate! Members of all ages have become great friends! I'm still a devoted, fulfilled and very happy member, and have lost even more weight. Everyone is encouraging and the coaches are so knowledgeable and helpful- they keep me motivated and that is key for this Senior Citizen! Look up the Fit Boot Camp- all exercises can be modified to your ability- it is Soooo worth it!! read more

I am an absolute walking ad for this gym, so figured I might as well write down a review. I originally joined in November while training for the Carlsbad Half Marathon, and I was hooked. After that I signed up for a 6 week challenge. I've lost weight, inches, body fat, and am feeling better than I have in the last ten years. I've made so many friends here who not only make working out fun, but keep you accountable. I cannot say enough great things about this place! I started at VFBBC about a year ago. I was a college grad who had lost motivation in fitness. I would always go to work, come home, and be too tired to workout. I had a friend who started at VFBBC and she talked me into trying it. THAT WAS THE BEST DECISION I HAVE EVER MADE!!! I found a gym that constantly inspires me to improve both physically and mentally! Everyone there is a huge family and we welcome and encourage everyone! The trainers have become some of my good friends and the owners have worked with me and helped make my life easier in so many ways! I cannot thank VFBBC for reigniting that passion I had inside me for health and fitness. As long as I live here, which may be forever, I will be at this gym!!! read more

I started with a 6 week challenge and was so impressed with my results that I joined and became a member! Join this gym! The 30 minute boot camp classes are hard, fast, fun & motivational. I feel great since I started coming here! Try it, you won't regret it! I started with one of the 6 week boot camp challenges & liked it so much that I became a member. Why? CLASSES - great instructors, and you can take as many as you want. They are 30 very hard minutes each, and between the 2 locations (the other one is called Vista Fitness 24-7) there are ~100 a week. FAMILY VIBE - you are welcome to bring your family/friends along for weekend warrior (Saturday morning) & running club (Wednesday evening) classes. CONVENIENCE - If you live in Vista, you are almost certainly within 10 minutes of one of the 2 locations. MEAL PREP - if you need help w/ meals, they are set up w/ a local chef who will prep all your meals for you according to dietary guidelines. They are reasonably priced and delicious. COMMUNITY - this gym is very involved! They support local businesses, help with food pantry drives, participate in local events, etc. It's also locally owned by a guy who grew up in Vista. Cool! EVERYONE IS WELCOME - people who go here run the gamut from "I haven't been off the couch in 10 years" to "Never miss a day". Everybody is doing their best, there's no ego. I have joined many gyms - this is the one that manages to drag me out of bed and to the gym every day with a smile on my face. I feel so much better since I started coming! read more

I was visiting the area for a week and wanted a boot camp style workout. Looked on Yelp, read the reviews, contacted the owner (Brian) and inquired about a one week membership. I was invited for a free trial workout and upon arriving, I was kindly given a free one week membership. Wow! So, how were the workouts? First, there are members of all ages and fitness levels. The workout consists of a warm up and then, the heart of the workout. Each day is different and on the days I attended they consisted of legs one day, arms and abs another, AMRAPs (as many reps as possible) on another, etc. Further, there are lots of toys to play with (weights, medicine balls, ropes, suspension trainers, etc), so the workouts varied. All done in about 35 minutes. You can make the workouts as intense as you'd like, and can do back to back sessions. Owner Brian and trainer Gabe were there to explain and demo the workouts, and to observe and correct form. Second, the facility is clean with enough room for all to workout. One day, there were about 25 members working out and we could all workout comfortably. Third, the members were all very welcoming and supportive of one another. Even though I was only there for one week, I met many great people including Brian and Gabe and felt part of a team. So, yes I would definitely recommend! I train pretty regularly and the only thing I had to adjust to here were their suspension trainers as I train on TRX and they have their own company's brand. Thank you Brian and Gabe for providing some solid workouts while on vacation. Anyone looking to begin working out or mix up their existing training, definitely give it a try! read more

I must have read all of the positive reviews a hundred times about VFBBC before setting my nervousness aside and finally deciding to sign up for their Girls Night Out challenge in October 2017. I had a lot going on personally and had every reason not to embark on what has been a remarkable mind, body and soul journey, but I felt the fear and did it anyway. The 6-week challenge was amazing, and I just finished my second 6-week challenge and of course, I'm a full-fledged member now. Sure, the weight loss has been a nice benefit, but it's actually been secondary to the fun, positive atmosphere, the incredible friends I've made, and most of all, enjoying my exercise routine! I feel incredible and owe it to VFBBC. If you're like me and read and re-read reviews, you're just wasting time that you could be having fun with us at VFBBC. Stop reading and go! :-) read more

As a former Marine I like a challenge and to feel like I got the most out of my workout. I honestly wasn't sure I would like a group workout style gym, but my brother and SIL kept asking me to try it out and the time I was putting in lifting weights at a big corporate gym just wasn't cutting it or helping me achieve my goals. I hate doing cardio and so I am soooo glad I tried out VFBBC! In 30-45 minutes I get an intense HIIT workout. The class times are awesome for my crazy work schedule (a lot of morning and evening options to choose from), everyone is super encouraging and welcoming, and Gabe and Brian and the best coaches I could ask for, they are passionate and care about their PEOPLE.
