Since I'm on this side of town dog sitting, I finally said I'm going here and did the drive in this cold weather. Walking in, it's smaller here than I anticipated. Limited seating and parking, FYI. Not good for large groups since there was literally only one table in the corner for maybe a party of four. More of a two person place to grab a quick bite. The menu is good with tons of options and lots of drinks. I wasn't feeling the booze so I stuck with Sprite and water. My server was friendly and attentive and checked in on me regularly. I got two of the regular sliders with a side of cheesy fries. Everything's ala carte here, so be prepared to spend a little more than normal. Food was great, and I really enjoyed myself here. The trick is to come here when it's not busy so you can dine in. I'm sure during the summer they may have outdoor seating, but since it's the dead of winter, not so much. Overall a great experience. After tip, my bill was $25 for two sliders, pop and cheesy fries. I'm glad I got to visit here and would recommend it to others. Love the menu selection of food.

Perfect timing, sat at the bar, yummy sliders and I looked enviously at my husband's wine (alas, I had to go back to work and he was off!). Wonderful bartender who took great care of us, and I know from past experience that the cocktails are delicious!

First thing to know: this is a delivery or curbside-only operation, so don't expect to dine in. I pulled into the lot, called the number posted on the building, and placed my order right from the car. The process was simple, and my food was ready in about 15-20 minutes, which felt pretty reasonable. I started with the mushroom Swiss burger paired with Cajun fries--definitely the highlight. The burger was flavorful and satisfying, and the fries had just the right kick. For later, I grabbed a double cheeseburger "deluxe style." While it was loaded, it might have been a little too loaded--so many toppings that it overwhelmed the burger a bit. The only real downside was not having a place to sit and eat. I had to drive elsewhere to enjoy my food before it cooled down, which took away from the overall experience. Still, the prices were competitive, the service was efficient, and the mushroom Swiss burger alone is worth a return trip. I'd definitely swing back again--next time, I'll just pick my eating spot in advance.

As everyone and their mother has already pointed out their prices were too damn high! It's one thing to pay more to go to a sit down burger joint in Royal Oak where you get to soak in that classic 50s theme all around you with extensive decor but what's the point when it's a former Checker's in St. Clair Shores with only a drive thru and a couple of outside tables with zero ambiance. You can sit and look over at the Burger King where everything would have been cheaper. Or at least you could. The food isn't that special to justify the extra expense. Went here a couple times which was one too many and the grub didn't seem nearly as good as the OG Comet Burger in Royal Oak. Me typing out this review is the very definition of beating a dead horse and I got over a hundred other things to review but I just couldn't resist.

Today was the day we got to finally stop by. They have seating outside and a drive thru. It is pretty cold out so we went through the drive-thru. It didn't take a super long time to order our food. They had the same food as the other location. It is a cute little spot. My husband ordered space cowboy burger and it is his favorite. I got a comet slider and it was delicious. The fries were good but to be honest I am going to admit they taste even better at the other location. The service was amazing. The lady working told us that she loves the owner. Meat is brought in fresh every day. The fries are dropped fresh every time as well. We would love to come visit again soon.

My coworkers and I love to come here after work. The happy hour is top tier, the prices for the portions don't get any better, thank me in advance! The steak bites to start, would be out first pick. Flavors are bold 10/10 and then this is crazy but the BRUSSEL SPROUTS I dream about them! They come with the most flavorful creamy sauce you could ever imagine and the whole table devours them. We also love the hummus plate and the fries are always a staple! The service here is never anything short of amazing and we really always appreciate the care we receive here! The spinach salad was good and enough to share, but the kitchen forgot the candied walnuts. The server quickly remedied the situation when it was pointed out. I was excited to try the lobster tacos but I had a hard time telling that it was lobster because the breading was a bit thick and chewy and the aioli overpowered everything. The service was good but she was stretched pretty thin. I had to get up and find her to ask for a to-go box and our check after waiting some time. Two drinks, a salad, tacos and wings cost us $81.54 plus tip. I might return for happy hour.

It comes with cheese, pickles, grilled onions and a "yard sauce" that is more or less 1000 Island dressing. At the end of the day, it was essentially an upscale impostor Big Mac. The only burger decision is if you want 1, 2 or 3 patties. The patties themselves are very thin, but not in that good smash burger way. They weren't at all crispy like a smash burger is. They also have a crispy chicken sandwich (prepared same as the burger is) and some chicken tenders. I thought there would be more burger toppings and other menu offerings (a side beyond fries for example). Despite the fact that they only offer a few variations of the same item. I would've expected better execution than what I experienced. My burger was very greasy. Take a look at the picture on this review. There's a huge puddle of grease after I took my first bite. Wasn't very excited about that. The bun to beef ratio was way off as well. and little details that I like at a burger joint like a properly toasted bun weren't there. the bun was toasted, but very, very lighty. I didn't pick up much seasoning on the burgers either. The fries were quite good, fresh and hand cut. They give a huge portion so that is a bonus. Staff was very friendly and helpful which is always appreciated. There was good value, $9.99 for a single burger, fries and a drink. Add $3 for each additional patty. If you're a lover of a Big Mac, maybe this place will be up your alley. Personally I prefer a place that offers lots of toppings for a build your own burger experience. Burger Yard is not that.
