The beef patty had a good sear but wasn't real juicy. Apparently the side of the day changes and today was watermelon which I thought was weird. We had to speak up and ask where our food was and magically it came out less than 10 minutes later--Claimed it was bc they were busy but nearly everyone in the restaurant had their food already and not every table was even occupied. Apparently we ordered the SMASH burger, hold the Smash. They were super thick, definitely NOT a smash burger. I didn't tell them well done because, well, a smash burger is always well done because it is THIN. It was so undercooked I couldn't even eat it. My son's was worse than mine but he ate it anyway since he had a game to get to. Server didn't bother to offer any compensation for any of it. So I waited an hour and a half for food that was inedible.

The only downside was that the food ended up making my stomach hurt afterward, which took away from the experience a bit. Still, based on taste alone, it was impressive, and I'd consider going back while maybe trying something different next time.

I ended up ordering the $9 lunch specials: a cheeseburger with scoop fries and chicken fingers. My husband said the cheeseburger was okay, and the customer service was friendly. One thing to note: the other lunch specials come with scoop fries, but the chicken fingers do not, they only come with dipping sauces. So I ordered an extra side of fries. The fries were actually good, but unfortunately, the chicken fingers were not. They were very, very greasy and not crunchy at all. Maybe the cooking oil wasn't hot enough, or the frying technique was off. I ended up removing all the beer batter breading, ate two of them, and tossed the rest. Overall, friendly service, but the food was just okay for our first visit. I'd probably try something different IF I return.

The people working there seemed friendly, and they have an open kitchen, which I like. I am not very familiar with Venezuelan food, but many of the options here were still quite familiar. Their menu is quite large, and what stood out to me is how expensive everything was! For the type of food being served and the atmosphere (diner like), and self-service (go get your own food when it is called), I expected a more reasonable price. The other thing that surprised me was the wait time. Even when not busy, the food will easily take 15+ minutes without ordering anything too exotic. All that being said, the food was very good, and unique. I did find it to be a tad salty and greasy for my liking, but overall, I had no issues with the food, and found it enjoyable. The wait time and prices will probably keep this place from being somewhere I would frequent, but I still think it is worth trying if you are in the area and looking for something different.
