i would rate them a -5 if i could. this place is horrible. the brushes they use brushes collect all the dirt from other peoples filthy cars and rubs against your car leaving a bunch of surface scratches. Not your best choice. Tried this place on three separate occasions. Paid for the top wash this last time, hoping it would be better.....but guess what? Car still dirty. Yes, the bird droppings were gone, but the haze and dirt on the sides were still present. Not good, I do not recommend this place. I wish that I could get my money back. read more

I have an unlimited wash membership and love it. It's on my way home from work, so it's super convenient for a quick 2 minute detour 2-3 per week to get my car washed. I've never had issues with scratches or dings on my car. I admit it's not clean like a hand washing/detail level, but great for maintaining keeping dirt and grime from building up. I also like the undercarriage wash which is important in the winter when they brine the roads. read more

My wife and I have been going to Mr. Wizard car wash for over 2.5 years now. Throughout the past two years we've never had one issue with the car wash. No scratches, dents etc. The car wash ownership maintains the building and seemingly the internals of the car wash. The wash's are priced competitively to car washes in the surrounding areas. In addition, the business has quarterly specials posted in their website. They also have prepaid cards with bonus amounts that they add tied to certain thresholds. They have monthly packages but unless you are getting your car washed multiple times a week I can't see the value. read more

Terrible!!!! Do not go here! The local Acura dealership gives you a coupon for your choice of car wash. I made the mistake of picking Mr Wizard. I have stopped here half a dozen times to redeem this coupon and there is never anyone around to help me. One time I waited almost 15 minutes and no one came. Because of how close it was I was planning on buying a monthly plan for both of our cars. I wasn't able to do that because of course someone would have to be there to help me. Today I stopped by determined to use my free wash. I finally called the office phone number. It went to voicemail but finally someone came running up from I don't know where. He refused to redeem it because he said it was expired. I am now glad that their incompetence didn't allow me to get the car wash now that I see some of the reviews saying customers got scratches in their paint and plastic! read more

I love this place. If you don't want to go through the trouble of doing your own car at a DIY car wash like Bubbles nearby, this place is nice, thorough, and it leaves your car very clean. In addition the staff is knowledgeable and quite friendly. This has become one of my standby carwashes in the area. read more

I'll say this about that. It was fast however speed isn't always a good thing. I spent $15 dollars. I was surprised that this place doesn't vacuum or wipes down the inside. I've been to a lot better places who include this in their payment. I believe all this place is, is a money making machine. High payment for their washes then payment for the vacuums outside. I paid for a tire service which was $4 dollars and tires and wheels were still dirty. People were lining up to have their vehicles cleaned. I wonder if their service was as poor as mine. I have used this place in the past and has no real issues. It's never the best for a quick local wash it will pass. Today however was a different experience. I went early in the morning, got the works , tire clean shine, and ultra wax. I pulled out went over and spent some more money on their vacuums. As I was pulling out I noticed beads of something on my windshield , figured it was water , so turned my wipers on and it just smeared , I ran the washer solvent for over a minute and it didn't clear up. I went over to wawa and used there window cleaner and barely made a dent. It was then I noticed it was all over my car, little beads of dried wax or something. It felt like little bumps all over the car, every square inch , mirror glass and all. I had somewhere to go so I couldn't stop back til later. I rode over about 3 and saw the guy in the office who I assume was the manger. I took him to my car showed it to him and he instantly tried to say it was tree sap or something. For that to be I would have needed to drive under a tree sap hose on their lot. He offered to run it through again , but it didn't get the spots off. They refuse to admit that it happened there and told me I was out of luck. They left me with no options and deny responsibility. I do not recommend this place to anybody, avoid it st all cost. Worst car wash I've ever been in!! Went yesterday and I'll never use it again!!! First off it's extremely crowded to even turn inside the wash bed without getting close to hitting a cone. This place bent in half my license plate frame!! I also noticed I had a clip from the fender of my car missing and look where I saw it ....right by the exit. I get things get old. Break. Normal things but, this is a NEW CAR to me (less then five months) and only year old itself. Also, used two different vacuums and neither of them had any power. I wasted $17 for a wash that wasn't the greatest mine you. Another two dollars in vacuum switching and left very upset. It's not worth the "Convince" to come hear! read more

If I could give them zero I would. The owner is the most condescending jerk ever. I got my wash, left and drive down to get gas about 1/2 mile away. I noticed one side of my car was completely dirty so I drove back. I was extremely polite and the owner told me it was because that's what happens when you drive back on the road. Scratches, scratches, scratches! DO NOT GO HERE unless you want to pay $15 for; deep scratches in your paint, gouges in your plastic body work, your mirror almost being ripped off, water spots, and a still dirty car. I have a brand new 2018 car and I check it obsessively for damage every day. I didn't even leave the parking lot. The manager was extremely rude and aggressive towards me. He dismissed me with out even looking at the car first and told me it was impossible that the car wash could of done that. He said the car wash uses FOAM brushes, and therefor it was impossible. Tell me if that logic is sound, sand and grit can cling to anything including his magical foam brushes which has thousands of holes for sand and grit to imbed. My car went in, a brand new, scratch free car and came out with thousands of dollars of damage. In the end, I didn't even get a refund for my $15, in stead the manager offered me to go through the car wash again, as if that was going to fix the problem. I kindly said no thanks, I don't want any more damage. In conclusion, please do not go here or any Mr. Wizard locations. Save yourself the pain of having thousands of dollars of damage to your car, and the insult to injury of still having a dirty car. read more

Unfortunately I have to leave a very poor review for the Mr. Wizard car wash in Ashton As a frequent customer of their Westchester location I am very dissatisfied With the services received at the Aston location it is either hit-or-miss as to whether or not the gentleman at the beginning of the wash does a good job at preparing your windshield and grill for the wash if he does not your car comes out with bugs and dirt still on your windshield and your grill. In the past when approached they have corrected to situation in rewash my car however after today's wash left my car still dirty I was told that they did their job correctly and that I was mistaken. No offer was made to correct the situation I requested a receipt from my wash which I was denied and a refund which was also denied. They obviously could care less that I was dissatisfied although their website says that if you are not completely 100% satisfied that don't take care of the issue I recommend that you bypass this car wash and find another way to keep your car clean thank you. read more

I really like this car wash. I'm a sucker for the places where you can actually stay in your car and watch from the inside and I also like that you don't have to get out in the end to have people vacuum your car. They take cash or credit and you can get a basic wash for $8.00 or get the deluxe for $12.00. You can also pick several different upgrades for $3.00 each. Its easy to get to this place from either direction on 202 since its in the middle of the highway. read more

Go anywhere else but Mr. Wizard Car Wash in Chadds Ford. I went in after my wash to speak with the owner about my car not properly being cleaned after I paid for the full combo. He gave me attitude and told me that he could care less if I think it wasn't done right. I told him about a credit I was given due to the same issue the last time I was there and I'd like to use it. He then told me he doesn' know anything about that and wouldn't even take my name to see if someone had written something down about it. Our verbal back in forth almost turned physical when he decided to get out of his chair and come at me. This guy has a motorcycle out front and is a real loser. Poor customer service. Poor attitude. Looks like he's from the Bayou with glasses on and a Hitler mustache. If he ever tries to intimidate you, laugh because he's a joke and his operation is one too. Go to Magic Carwash in Delaware off 202 on Naamans Road. Even if you pay a little more, they do a great job and if they fail you in any way they make sure to make it up to.
