I came to this place because my dealer had ordered new doors for my truck and sent it here for installation and paint matching. While it was there, I decided I wanted to change the tires and thought, "What better place than somewhere called Mr. Wheels?" Unfortunately, I was wrong. When I decided to move forward with the wheels and tires, I was very specific about the look I wanted. I did not want the wheels sticking out too far with oversized spacers. The person helping me barely looked at me during the entire conversation. He simply turned his monitor around, showed me an option, and told me, "This is what you want." I asked if the setup would look proportional to the truck, and he assured me it would. Based on that, I approved the job. When I returned to pick up the truck, the new doors had been installed, but I immediately noticed they had damaged the wheel arch trim panels during the paint work and hadn't repaired them. On top of that, the wheels looked nothing like I had envisioned. The truck looked like a Hot Wheels toy, which was exactly the look I had been trying to avoid from the beginning. I drove away disappointed, but after being without my vehicle for over a week, I just wanted to get out of there. A day later, I contacted them and explained that the final result was not what I had asked for. I even resent the reference photos I had originally provided. Instead of acknowledging my concerns, they defended the work and told me they thought the truck looked good. They said they would speak with the owners to see what could be done, but eventually came back and told me there was no solution and that they couldn't take the tires back because they were now "used." After that, communication completely stopped. No resolution, no attempt to make things right. If you're looking for your vehicle to have that oversized Hot Wheels look, then maybe this is the place for you. But if you want professionals who listen to what you're asking for and stand behind their work, I'd recommend doing your research and taking your business elsewhere. read more

Brought my lifted F-150 in for wheel balancing for a very noticeable shake after Ford rotated my tires for the 1st time. When I left it was much better. Got on the turnpike and around 60mph noticed a little shake. I got a message from the shop that I checked at a red light. They were asking if my truck was riding smoothly. I replied that it's much better but still has a slight shake at 60mph. I was told to bring it back in and they would double check everything. Took my car to get running boards installed and was a bit surprised that the tech was reading instructions. Regardless, I waited 2 hrs then they said it would take another 3 hours because they were not aware of the extra work involved. Since I couldn't wait, I decided to take the car back another day since it wasn't going to take long now that they knew what to do or so they said. After another 2 hours waiting I noticed the tech walking around, socializing, taking his sweet time. Another hour passed and before car was done. 5 hours! The. To make matters worse, they were trying to charge me for an extra 2 hours of work because they said it took longer. It wasn't until I called out the lazy tech that they decided to honor the original quote. In the end, the running boards were installed so far from the body that I had to take to another place to adjust. This place might do other things very well based on the reviews but after my experience I don't think a I can trust them again. Not likely to do any other work there. read more

I purchased a fantastic running 2014 Ford explorer sport. It needed new tires and new shocks. While I was gonna have these replaced anyways, I decided to have Mr. wheels put the spacer lift kit in it. They put the wrong size tires on initially, way too big, and told me that I just have to drive really slowly from now on and don't make sharp U-turns. Oh, also I can't back my vehicle up anymore! And it took three days to get the work done. And when I dropped my vehicle off initially, it had a full tank of gas and was showing I was getting approximately 16 miles per gallon. When I picked my vehicle up, it was more than a quarter of a tank low, showing I was only getting 11.1 miles to the gallon. I asked John what the hell were they doing to my explorer? Of course he's gonna lie! I can only assume that they were out beating the hell out of it! I was going to bring pizza for everyone for lunch the next day, but I change my mind really quick! They reluctantly put on the correct tires so that it did not rub, and I had to pay another $60. At least it was drivable.. i thought! And then I paid them nearly $3400. Two days later, my explorer started to violently vibrate when I accelerated it. I had not even put 20 miles on it. I had to have my vehicle towed home, $150. I actually called John and told him, and he said to bring it back to them so they can look at it. At this point there is no way I would let these clowns touch anything of mine again! I had to wait about five weeks to get enough money put back into my bank account to have the Ford dealership take a look at it. The brakes were scored deeply, warped and metal on metal. Front passenger hub assembly was damaged. Another $3500... Right now I am talking to a lawyer to determine if it's worth suing these clowns! I feel like I would've been less disappointed just taking this to in elementary school, and letting bunch of four-year-olds have Addit! I'd say you get what you pay for, but these jokers robbed me and destroyed my vehicle. Don't make the same mistake! read more

This place is great. From the moment you walk in the service is very helpful. Their showroom is spotless. They have all types of rims for your car or truck. The selections are displayed like if you had walked into a jewelry store and were buying some nice piece for yourself or your girlfriend. I've never bought rims because I'm happy with mine, but I have bought tires and done my brakes here. The job is always done in a reasonable amount of time and the price is right. Stands behind their work. I had my brake calipers painted back in November. About a week later I noticed some of them were chipping so I called and they told me I could bring it in and have them redone. Well, I got busy. 4 months later I finally brought the car back to them. My brakes were recently replaced and the installers caused some more chips that Mike at Mr. Wheels pointed out. Regardless, they still touched everything up at no charge. Mr. Wheels has the worst customer service I have ever experienced. You can tell that it's a gender bias store and they will cater to men. I am almost certain that if I was a man I would of not only received better service and better pricing on my tires. The "Manager" Anthony made no absolute effort to try to get me the best deal like normal tore places. I asked if there was a Sale and he said it was the $254 dlls tore or other ones for $375. When he was ringing me up I specifically asked if everything was included including alignment and he said yes. Because of my work schedule I had to bring the car in next morning, so I had a friend do it and when I asked her to make sure the alignment was done he said that was not included and that would be an additional 90.00 after I had spent 1200$$ on tires. When I asked to speak to the Manager he said he was the manager which was just as shocking. I would never have someone in customer service who deal with the public have someone with no personality, chooses to open the store at 8:35-8:40 when it suppose to open at 8:30. Meaning if you are a Manager you show up to open your store 15-20 min early to make sure you are ready to go to service customer at 8:30. He made no effort to rectify the situation and him telling me something else the day before. No signs of remorse or wanting to help to make it right. Like I said if I was a Man I am pretty sure the service and experience would have been different. I will make sure to share my reviews thru all social media outlets to make sure you are aware of their gender bias treatment. The install should have taken 1-1.5 hrs and ended up taking 2.5 hrs pretty sure he did it on purpose. Beware and do not do business with this this place. There is one saying about Florida I don't think I'll ever forget, specially when it comes to Miami..."Florida is really sunny state, with a bunch of really shady people!" After driving around for about 4 months, unaware that the muffler in my car had a hole the size of a rabbit's hole, one the mechanics at sears was kind enough to inform me that if I got a new muffler installed, the car would cease to sound as though I was riding in a handicapped version harley davidson, and it would also improve my gas mileage...chi ching$$$$$ Here I was driving around town, thinking the damn car is just loud and there was nothing I could do about it. So my quest begun for a place that wouldn't rip me off to install a new muffler. I called mineke, aamco, and a few other local mechanics trying to get a quote. Amazingly enough, everyone I called was unable to give me a straight answer until I got the idea to call a trusted mechanic I used once who worked on the BMW, and he did not hesitate to tell me to call Muffler House in Hollywood, they have the best prices. Sure enough, I called Muffler house, was connected to the 'Mike' the mechanic, and told him the model, year, and exactly what I needed and he gave me an instant price...nothing else, nothing more. And it was the best price I had gotten over the phone from anyone. I showed up 2 weeks later, and he remembered me, and as promised, it was exactly what he said it would be...no more, no less.
