Mr tamole is located In the Boston public market. I liked it because it's not as crowded and Quincy market. I ordered the tamale plate and felt that there was way too much masa and barely any meat. For the price I would have appreciated more meet in the tamale. Majority of it was left uneaten because I'm not a fan of chunks of masa. My experiences in Southern California have taught me that tamales should be fresh and very flavorful. My tamale from MR Tamole was large, to be sure, but I could not taste the poblanos and cheese inside, and the corn tamale itself was bland. Let's start with the fact that the chicken and carnitas tacos were amazing. Also appreciate the genuine attentiveness to my children's allergies. It is hard to grab lunch in the go as a result but the staff was very aware of the ingredients, and my kids were able to enjoy. Christmastime in socal meant finding delicious homemade tamales, so I was happy to find a place in Boston that looked really good and delivered. Ordering is very casual: you email them what you want, your address, and your phone number. Then you pay them in venmo and they deliver. I emailed them the night of the 23rd, paid the morning of the 24th, and I had my tamales that afternoon! The only hiccup was that I got red salsa despite having ordered green salsa, but they also gave me a tub of mole paste and the red salsa was delicious. The chicken mole tamales were delicious. Fragrant, rich, masa and tender, flavorful chicken. They're even better smothered in either the salsa or mole (fry the mole paste and then dilute it with some chicken stock to get the right consistency). I've had their tamales at various occasions (Egleston Farmer's Market, Wake Up the Earth Fest) and have always been happy with them. Large, substantial yet fluffy, chock-full of the tastiest fillings, and topped with the most delicious mole sauce- these are some top notch tamales. My current favorite flavor is pork with red salsa and cheese, but all the varieties I've tried have been tasty. During the time of pandemic, they offered a dozen frozen tamales plus mole paste for local delivery, and let me tell you, they made for an absolutely wonderful meal, a real highlight to look forward to during these dark days (especially that mole, which you could put on a shoe and would make it taste amazing). If you haven't taken advantage yet, please do before they run out- these are fully worth it. read more

Absolutely delicious tamale stand at the Egleston Farmer's Market. It's just outside the entrance to the Samuel Adams Brewery entrance. My wife ordered two tamales with the intention of sharing, but ended up eating both, and I had to get my own. I got the red salsa tamale, and enjoyed it thoroughly.
