Great event! The lines were huge though. Please just take my money and give me food sooner! Perhaps…read morethe event numbers could have been calculated better. The line for what looked like the most popular stall- for street food, including lots of grilled meat on sticks, papaya salad, and tons of other yummy looking options stretched beyond the food designated area and into the carnival games area. A couple of lines were like that, and I just had to live with not getting food or drink from those stalls. I remember the egg roll cafe truck from a past year. Their fusion egg rolls do not disappoint! So crisp. Got the Buffalo chicken one. Also got Japanese curry fries, which definitely worked flavor wise- the curry had kind of a gravy quality, and there was a creamy sauce, seaweed, and scallions. Also tried Nigerian food for the first time, which I was surprised to find there. I appreciated the way all the flavors came together- the special rice, plantains, and spice encrusted thin piece of beef on a stick. I was stuffed, but I wish I could have kept eating. Also saw some awesome drinks in the drink section- including one AAPI owned brand, and boozy boba that had an awesome presentation (it lit up!) The carnival games were also a hit. I secretly would have loved to win a snorlax or a two sided octopus. I was one bean bag away from winning! I guess it just wasn't my day, because at the MUJI tent I also only won a gel pen- they had a wheel that you spun. I preferred a past year, where they gave everyone notebooks. Loved those notebooks- sadness. Will just have to buy them at the store, lol.

Visiting from California and this was a great treat! At the end we snacked on Apple cider and…read moretoasted almonds!

This is a small fast casual Mexican chain right by Peters Park. It was good, but not memorable…read moreconsidering all the Mexican taquerias around the city. The first time I went was to the Mission Hill location, which was quite satisfying in terms of the food quality. I've been to this South End location a handful of times over the years just because of it's proximity to me, but the lack of customization with up charges for everything is a turn off. Also the last time I went, I wanted to have two proteins (half and half) and was charged for double proteins. My most recent order was the plate with pork en chile verde and al pastor. The chile verde pork was moist and flavorful, but the al pastor was very dry, tough, and there was no pineapple to be found. The portion sizes itself were decent, but compared to other nearby casual Mexican places, it doesn't hold up. However, I do appreciate how they serve the plate so you can taste each individual component without everything mixed together. You also have to ask for their hot sauce/salsa, they have a red and a green one. The green one is much better, but the red one does have a nice kick to it.

This spot??? Absolutely Clutch... They are open late and have all the eats…read more.. I only experienced them through DoorDash since i was in a hotel but each time my food was fresh and absolutely delish. I ordered from there twice and had the Horchata, Elote, Burris Burrito, Madurai, & Grilled Chicken Burrito. Whew... each item was a home run and im thinking about going back to Boston to have this food again. They even called me to clarify my order since they were about to close and didn't want to make any mistakes. From what i can tell most people don't dine in, that this is more of a good food fast type of place. But i would definitely like to sit in and eat the food fresh.

Cute market to go to check out different vendors. Also had art exhibits open and a vintage market…read moreopen. I loved checking out the different artists in their spaces. Browsed the vendors outside which had a variety of food, items, clothing, etc. Had lunch from the trucks. Got a bowl from the Mediterranean place which was not good, compared it to chipotle-style (but in my opinion, chipotle is actually yummier) Also got a falafel wrap which was okay, nothing to write home about. Would probably opt to eat elsewhere or opt for different stalls. The empanadas stall looked more delicious (and more popular)

It was a super cool market with a decent amount of vendors, live music, and a convenient location. I was a little unimpressed by the prices and variety of vendors, a lot of shops felt like they offered the same thing. Still, there were some great knick-knacks and finds! My favorite vendor was Amisha, I got this super gorg kaftan. Bathrooms were a bit difficult to find, so know they are inside the art building. Don't wait too long to go find them because the lines were super long! I could see this being an ok spot to take kids and pets, however, the limited shade might get to them quickly. If too hot, walking 2 mins over to check out the vintage market is the move! Might need to swing back here to try out the food trucks and pick up this vase I didn't follow through on.
