Our HOA hired Mr. Sidewalk to repair parts of the sidewalk, in the common areas, throughout the neighborhood. They also recommended him to residents that had sidewalk damage in front of their homes that needed to be fixed. It's always a relief to see Clayton and his crew out here working, as they're always very friendly and do excellent work. I knew if they were doing the job, it would get done right the first time and they would go above and beyond to clean everything up, leaving it looking better than ever. As someone who works with contractors in my own business, that is not usually the case for many of them. The best testimony for Mr. Sidewalk recently came from our 8 year old daughter. Like we normally do, I was running and my daughter was riding her scooter beside me on one of the sidewalks in our community. The front tire of her scooter hit a large crack in the sidewalk (that a homeowner had not repaired yet), causing her to flip over her handlebars and face plant on the concrete. Our HOA requested that we fix our sidewalk as it had become unlevel by about 2 inches. Mr. Sidewalk responded with a quote very quickly then scheduled our repair in a matter of a few days (even during the holidays!) Work was done quickly and efficiently to our satisfaction and their price was about half what two other companies quoted us. One company would not come out for less than $1000 worth of repairs and the other company wanted $850 to do the same repair with foam that Mr. Sidewalk was able to do for $450 using less other materials. Arrived when scheduled. Quickly submitted proposal for the work to be done including a very reasonable price quote. Returned (again, much quicker that I would have anticipated) and performed the work professionally and quickly. I'm so satisfied that I have requested they submit a proposal for my driveway as well. The first method they were going to use was not able to be preformed as my side walk was too thick, Mike contacted me and let me know that he would be back out asap and would put foam in to raise them up. And as promised he they came out as soon as they could all while working with my schedule. Now the sidewalk drains properly and we can finally use our sidewalk to the front door after it rains for the first time since moving into our house. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Saw the repairs they did in the community when the HOA hired them. They fixed a sidewalk by my back gate. I had a "face plant" there about a year ago. This contractor did excellent work. They were diligent in clearing out tree roots beneath walkway slabs to ensure little chance of regrowth and to also facilitate a level replacement of the slabs. They also pointed out that one slab didn't need to be removed and replaced. It just needed to be pried up on one side so fill dirt could be added to level it out. They removed the concrete panel & excess/overgrown roots, leveled area with crushed granite and reinstalled the concrete panel without incident.
