My front sidewalk was severely buckled and a tripping hazard. In replacing it, we decided to dress it up a little by going with pavers, so I researched several companies online. Based on reviews, I narrowed down my search to Cobblestone Pavers, and I am glad I did. Jose and his crew exceeded my expectations in every aspect of the project. From delivering samples, working with us on our desires, and always being punctual on meeting times, we never regretted our decision. His hard working crew basically completed the project in one day. They came back a second day for about four hours to do the final touch ups. As I watched a lot of the construction, I could see that they took great pride in their work. From properly preparing the foundation, making sure everything was level, to the placement of the pavers, care and pride were evident. I could recognize years of skilled craftsmanship. This is our second time working with Jose and we would highly recommend him to anyone looking for patio/paver work in the greater Houston area. He is responsive, punctual, professional, hard working, reliable and does incredible work. We were replacing a huge elevated deck and it was hard to envision what ground level pavers would look like, but Jose made us feel at ease. He guided us through the entire process from design and material selection, drainage and grading, install to completion. He cleaned up after the job, leaving it ready to enjoy and entertain. In addition to his fast response time on communication and how swiftly he completed the job, we were also very impressed with his ability to grade the surface for drainage and to install drain basins and pipes. We've wanted to replace a badly done rock walkway to our front door for years and also wanted to extend the size of our backyard patio by 5 feet. Jose Rico came out the same day I called to give us a reasonable quote and explain how he would do the job. My husband, having been in construction work himself, said his plan was the right way to do the job and we hired him on the spot. Jose contacted me within 10 minutes of my request being put on Yelp and he came to my house the same day to review the scope of work and provide an estimate. Literally 48 hours later, my project is completed and I am beyond impressed. He and his team arrived at their stated time, started work immediately and the entire job was completed within 6 hours. Jose and his crew installed pavers around our pool. I had several contractors come out and provide quotes. Jose came up with several good ideas to reduce the cost and his price was already very competitive. Once we agreed to the work, he came out the following Monday and did the installation. He had about 7-8 workers with him, they completed the work in 1.5 days. The quality was top notch, he made sure I was happy with everything they did and made a few adjustments to sprinkler heads etc after completing. They cleaned the area up well.
