So ... we are foodies always looking for something new and hopefully a little healthy. We're driving through Belle Glade and we are starving.... enter Mr Shrimp. As a 'fish shop', the dining room smells sweet and clean a promising sign that the food is fresh. Our server was very nice helping me understand the menu and the options. Boiled shrimped was delicious with a healthy dose of spice but not overwhelming - no garlic or butter for me but still very tasty. The coleslaw was heaven sent -- fresh, crunchy and well dressing not the usual glop of mayo must vendors sell. The chicken sandwich was fresh with large pieces of chicken on a crispy tasty bread --- the entire sandwich was huge and could easily feed two people. The food was flavorful, and I think it was the best shrimp we've had in Florida! Stopped here on my way home. We ordered the fried fish with two sides, conch fritters, some Crab Salad, and the steamed shrimp. Oh and fried shrimp too (yea we were hungry) Fried fish was so good- big chunks of Snapper fried to perfection. One of my favorites. The crab salad was delishhh too, again nice chunks of crab and it tasted so fresh. I got some more for my way home home :D But my fave was probably the steamed shrimp. It had this homemade spice on them and it was soaked in delicious butter. (It's spicy so make sure you like fuego). It was, Oh so good (drool emoji) We left so happy and satisfied. 100% recommend. Overall a great experience. Take note... it is called Mr. Shrimp... just get the shrimp... they are truly excellent however prepared. I will say that I ordered the fried oyster platter and wished I hadn't. I should have known better. The hush puppies were perfect. If driving by, or live in the area I would definitely recommend stopping in for a to go order to take on the road or eat there in their very clean dining area. While out in Belle Glade for an event I wanted, well I had a taste for some fried fish . So I heard Mr. Shrimps was the place for be. Despite, the few reviews that were not positive along with many that were. I decided to be the judge of it myself. I ordered the fried Tilapia with 2 sides Corn and hush puppies and my friends got the catfish dinner. Several people were inside and they were waiting and walking out with several bags... So we got the food and went to the nearby park to eat. My initial thought when I looked at the fries- was this looks different. Who can mess up French fries... They were crinkle cut and covered in seasoning salt. Then I tasted them and I was a little disappointed. They had a funny after taste and I couldn't finish them. The corn also had a distinctive taste. (Didn't taste fresh) Since the fries were not a big hit, I was looking to knock it out the park with the fried fish.. I picked up a piece and the breading slipped completely off the fish. Not a good sign for me! I finished the one of two pieces as it was paid for and I was hungry. The one good thing about this purchase was the hush puppies.. They were delicious. This would have been a one hit wonder.. if it weren't named Mr. Shrimps. Not sure when, but I will try them again, this time I must try the shrimp . This may be their specialty based on the name. read more

The food isn't that bad but the service makes it worse. The cashier have nasty attitudes and argue with you whenever Your order is incorrect, mind you they are the ones inputing the order. The prices are too high for the service to be that horrible. They are greedy and will easily charge you but rather fight with you to refund or rectify your order. I would rather drive to West Palm Beach or Ft lauderdale for a proper seafood boil. read more

We saw plenty of employees milling about, doing next to nothing. Menu had no prices on it. Man behind counter mumbled almost unintelligibly. COVID precautions: 2 stars. Sign for mandatory masks, and markings on floor apparently to keep people distanced, were severely undermined by the man behind counter (again), who wore his mask under his nose, and sometimes even lower, the entire time. That's outright dangerous, evidence of poor training/supervision, and possibly illegal. Total 8/3 = 2.67 stars. read more

Online ordering platform for this location was down, had to call in my order. The person who answered the phone was extremely rude. Had my mom pick up the order for me and they were even rude to her.. food absolutely sucked too. Barely any flavor. Wasted $40 on this. Would never visit this location again and may never support this chain again because it was just that bad. read more

Does not get a 5 star due to atmosphere. But 5 star for the food. From the outside you would hesitate to consider . Big mistake as the food was excellent. We were a Party of 3 and tried several dishes, shrimp, steam clams, fried conch, fried oysters and steamed crab. All excellent. The pico salad was good too. Only Average dish was the crab salad as it had to be the imitation crab. Will go back for dinner and order the seafood boil. read more

Perfectly steamed shrimp in a spicy buttery broth. The crawfish is frozen but closer to New Orleans than any other I have found in Florida. The shrimp is served in a styrofoam cup with plastic silverware and there are just a couple tables but the flavor is what keeps me going there. They also have oysters that they will serve raw or steamed and snow crab clusters. read more

This small place has great shellfish cooked in spices covered in butter...or however you ask them to cook it! In a town without much, this is a good choice. They recently remodeled the store. It is clean and you can sit and eat but I prefer to do take out. read more
