After dinner bunch of needed something quick perhaps with less sugar. This was nearby. The location is a bit odd. There is nothing (QSRs) else in this section of the plaza and this was the only store open in this section. The entrance to plaza is also a bit hard to get in specially if you are new. We ordered a box of 30 with three flavours. One of them vegan. It is really appreciated that there are good decent vegan options. Group wanted to try the new baklava flavour. The individual gave us a couple samples to make sure we wanted that as he said customers comment that is extremely sweet. And he was right, group felt it was way too sweet. The order took a bit longer and I am guessing they had to redo our order as the flavours got mixed up. The same individual gave us complimentary puffs, we asked him not to add any flavours to make it vegan. And they were delicious as well. Thank you for excellent customer service. A couple of Thursdays ago, my friend and I were driving to an eatery for a work lunch. We had a third colleague in the backseat of my car. We always talk about food whenever we get together. We hardly see each other because we are still working from home the majority of the time. He told me about this Mr Puffs location on Dixie, just north of Dundas. It's a hidden plaza with a Healthy Planet that I don't like visiting and a former dim sum restaurant that has since shuttered. He loved the puffs so much that he went back the next day to get more. We have similar tastes. If he loved them so much, I would likely love them, too. For the rest of the workday, I was productive, but I also had visiting this place in my head. When it was quitting time, I bumped into my friend by the elevators before I left the office. "Are you going to Mr Puffs?" he asked me. "Yes. I'll let you know how it goes," I said. The drive was roughly seven minutes away from the workplace. Deadly! There was plenty of parking at this hour. I backed into a spot and headed inside. There was one customer sitting at a table. I had the nicest woman helping me with ordering, as it was my first time at any Mr Puffs. There was a promotion where you could get two boxes of puffs for $23, with each box containing 30 puffs. I felt that it would be too much to consume. Instead, I got a single box of 30 puffs. With this box, I could select two flavours. I got raspberry and Wowbutter chocolate puffs. I paid with my debit card and received a card where I can get stamps towards free puffs. Cool! I waited and watched my puffs being made. I saw everything from them being deep-fried to perfection, to my puffs getting the flavour treatment. It was fun to watch. I got my box of puffs handed over to me with a wooden fork. I thanked her and happily walked to my car. I sat there and looked at how pretty the puffs were. I then went at them. I loved the raspberry puffs. The raspberry flavour was yummy. It wasn't overly sweet. Each puff was airy. It was crunchy on the outside and chewy inside. It was so good hot out of the fryer. I'd imagine that they wouldn't be as yummy if you didn't eat them immediately. The Wowbutter chocolate flavour was equally as yummy. It's coincidental that I got vegan flavours. It tasted like peanut butter and chocolate. I loved mixing it with the raspberry, which made it taste like I was having a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, but with yummy puffs. I loved the puffs so much that I ate all thirty in my car. It didn't feel heavy. I did not need a nap. No carb coma. No guilt. It was amazing. Roughly an hour later, I had dinner. Wow! The owners are super nice and friendly and the staff actually looks like they enjoy working there! If you love sweets, this place is for you! Inside, there is a small section for seating available. You can see them making the puffs fresh. The staff was friendly, the service was quick. Lots of varieties in terms of topping & flavours, large selection of hot and cold beverages, ice cream pairing with the puffs also available. They also have merchandise available for purchase including their own hazelnut spread. I tried the twist ice cream (vanilla/ chocolate) with hazelnut Puffs. The puffs come out hot (be careful when biting in), they are hard on the outside and soft dough like in the inside. You can easily eat a few without hesitation. Omg, better than expected. I was expecting it to be good, but not surprisingly good. I've had timbits before and the cne mini donuts. I expected it to be above the normal timbits and as good as cne mini donuts. It was better! Crispy on the outside, not oily at all, and so chewy and delicious on the inside! The chocolate hazelnut is amazing, just like Nutella, but more saucy and less sticky which is great as it coats the puffs way better. Service was extremely friendly. Free parking and has a washroom! Only has two tables for sit down, but that's good because they have a sundae and puffs combo best enjoyed right away. When I say it's good, I took one bite from the cashier table waiting for my drink and I just couldn't wait taking another bite, then another bite! 5 stars! read more

Mr. Puffs is a great go-to to satisfy my sweet cravings. The hazelnut biscotti and cookies & cream are my favourites. They're sweet and has a crunchy texture to them. The apple cinnamon and strawberry cheesecake were good as well but have lost the crunchy texture because of the sauce. They're very slightly crispy on the outside but oh so chewy, and soft on the inside. It is on the sweeter side and were a bit too sweet for me, but people with a sweet tooth will love this! I had a long trek home and they stayed fresh and crispy in the box even after an hour drive. I got the cappacino flavoured and they sprinkle one coffee crisp bits on top. So good!
