We ordered carry out, unfortunately we received our order incomplete (missing beans and rice) and our taco salad had little to no meat. Needless to say we were disappointed. What we did receive tasted alright but I wasn't too impressed. We would give it another shot but might have better luck dining in. read more

Terrible service, terrible food. We waited about 25 minutes after ordering for my meal to show up-and my husband's didn't come for another 15 minutes and only after a trip to the front. No apologies at all. My meal was incredibly salty. I had to ask for refills on my iced tea and never did get any equal to go with it. People who came ten minutes after us were served long before my husband's food came. There was no sense that any of the staff cared about any of the patrons. Will not be going back and will actively discourage others from going. Just nasty. read more

Been eating here since before the name change. Favorite thing is the salsa Blanco with the chips you have to ask for it meal wise I normally get tacos but my hubby gets enchiladas. We can both eat right around thirty which is not too bad that not getting apps or dessert. read more

A lot of our coworkers told us how good the food is at Mr. Pepe's so my wife and I decided to give it a try. We love Mexican food and were really looking forward to a good place close to our home. We ordered and waited patiently for the food to arrive. When it arrived, we dug in. We took one sample bite out of each enchilada and each successive bite was worst than the first. The shame in it all is that the waitress picked up almost two full plates of food, a clear indication that we did not like it, and asked if we wanted anything else. We paid and quickly left. Hoping it was a bad night but afraid to give them another try. read more

I love the food and Ranchera in vegetarian was delicious, i will go again and order my fav dish plus fresh Goc.

Had take out from here for the first time and it did not disappoint. They had great and friendly service when I arrived and the carnita tacos were delicious. read more

Loved it. Nice servers. Fast action on a busy night like Christmas Eve. We got our food in about 10-15 after ordering it for a party of 13. The food was nice and rich and no one left filling unfulfilled. Excellent place Highly Recommend. read more

Ordered take out tonight was the first time eating food from Mr. Pepe's. Was really impressed! The food was amazing. Both me and my girlfriend both thought the food was awesome! We will be ordering from here again soon. Me and my gf both said the food tonight was better than our favorite Mexican Restaurant in this area and if it's as good next time this will be our new go to spot. They way they had the curb side to go organized was impressive as well. They were also very nice and were genuine when they thanked us for our business. read more

Service was terrible. Was told it would be an hour wait, completely understood as it was busy. No problem. Get to the table, waitress is as rude as possible, was not wearing a name tag, and when I asked her name (to be personal) she said no. Food was hot, but subpar in every other aspect. 1 star because margarita had 2 DEAD FLIES in it. I showed our server and she said "so". Didn't ask for a new one but the owner refused to take it off the tab. Will not go back. I suggest you not do the same. read more

Great Food..Great Service!! Awesome Price!! Can't go wrong with Mr.Pepe!!! Its our go to place when we want Mexican. Takeout is like 15 minutes and its ready!! read more

The food I ordered was not brought to me as ordered. The manager brought my food to the table and adbised "this is how we usually make it, with pork". I ordered chicken I do not eat pork. He removed the plate in front of me and later brought chicken. I felt as if the management was trying to force me to eat something I had not ordered. I will never eat at Me Pepes again read more

Mr Pepe, pretty good food, a great atmosphere and the drinks are amazing, fav. just a question, why that music? It is like bored, play bad bunny please. read more

I was a huge fan of Don Pepe's. I was there usually once a week sometimes as many as three times in a week. Since changing to Mr Pepe, I have gradually moved away from my regular visits. The food has been close to the same, I have seen a few minor changes in seasoning on a few dishes but nothing major. I enjoy the food. The service is another story. While i still get excellent service from Omar and Saul, they seem a bit more rushed than before the management change. My experience with the rest of the staff has been very disappointing. I have had food brought out incorrectly the last 3 times, server ignore our table for large portions of the meal with empty drinks all around, and a generally cold reception. This is drastically different from the old days. I no longer feel like part of the Don Pepe family coming home for a meal with family and friends, I feel like someone they are obligated to feed and a burden to them. (Excluding Omar and Saul - they are still awesome) I have started the search for another go to Mexican restaurant. read more

Can't find anything quite like this flavor or experience wise on my side of town! Service is always fast, excellent...Saul is the best around...and leaving me wanting more. I will only eat here for Mexican from here on out. read more

Chips are tasty, a bit thick. White dip is gross. Sweet. Tastes like it came out of a bottle. Definitely stay away from that. After that as an intro was nervous, but there was no need! Portions are LARGE. Quesadilla Vercruzana was delicious. Brought half home there was so much. Kids portions very generous too. Beans are delicious. Next time I might just eat those, lol. Friendly staff. We'll be back. read more

Good service. Good food! Went tonight (Monday) they were pretty busy but they were quick and attentive!

Mr Pepe's was great, from start to finish! They even sang a wonderful birthday song for our friend, complete with festive sombrero. I enjoyed the tacos, and my kids had a delicious quesadilla while my husband inhaled a double stuffed burrito. It was a miracle we ate anything after gorging ourselves on three helpings of chips and salsa. Like I said, great from start to finish, including the service! read more

Never who have thought I would have go walk out of a restaurant do to my silverware...that was WRAPPED...was so covered in food I almost vomited. It stuck to the napkin it was wrapped in. So then my boyfriend unwrapped his thinking it was bad luck and his was even worse dude! The girl that was serving the chops stared at us for like 10 minutes stroking her nails through her hair and then had the nerve to serve us chips. Get it together people. Who ever rates this place anything but 1star needs to get out more often. Smh this place is a disgrace to the other location. Never again! read more

Always great service and great food! Our new favorite Mexican restaurant. Everyone is friendly and the service is quick, even when packed. You can't go wrong with anything you order. read more

2nd time going here and I'm still not disappointed. The food and service is great. Definitely recommend and will be going back.

Now is known as Mr Pepe. Service and hospitality was awesome as usual but when I point out my order was filled with chicken instead of steak as I ordered don't tell me "You got lucky"! You got lucky with your tip because you did your job as a waiter but next time let management handle problems if you don't know how. read more

Why did you change your name I loved it before but great food and service everything is still the same love you all 4/5 cause the name changed lol read more

Ordered delivery (GrubHub) the other night. Got the cheese dip, quesadilla ranchero and my better half got the burrito macho. All were fantastic - great Mexican food, highly recommend. read more

AMAZING place for authentic Mexican food. Previous ownership, management, and staff are always amazing as well. Great place for families!!!

Service was very slow, food was bland and the chicken was rubbery like it was microwaved, The servers were very nice though. Probably not going back to many other Mexican restaurants near us read more

Service at new wood lake location is marginal. We were seated at a tiny window table that is way too small for Mexican food. The waiter was not attentive and messed up some of the order. Manager was walking around, but never returned bc I would have given him a review on the spot. They need to up their service to keep customers. read more

they talk a long time and my food was cold and the drink a lot of ice I would recommend to come here

I love this restaurant, the staff is amazing. My favorite place to cool down from a crazy week. The top shelf margarita is by far my favorite. Mr. Pepe is definitely a restaurant for the entire family, but I suggest going with a group of friends and letting go of all responsibility for your time there. Great service, food and drinks. read more
