What a cute little shop! Great location on Grand Ave near Grover Beach entrance. There is parking on the street or in rear behind the building. Walk in and close the door behind you, this place makes you feel at home. Greeted right away, you can choose any available table you like or order takeout. We started out with Thai iced tea and an order of vegetarian Golden Egg Rolls. They are what you could expect from a traditional vegetarian egg roll--being sprouts, cabbage, and such--except these were the hottest, crispiest, most delicious egg rolls ever! What we decided for our main entree is: Chicken Yaki Yaki Love-- "stunning" large portion of meat, with its umami and sweetness--a perfectly balanced sauce, lots of vegetables and a huge scoop of rice! Chicken Rice Rice Baby-- again another classic favorite. Large portion of fried rice with a great portion of meat, excellent! And my husband ordered: The OG Noods Pork Edition--with a rice broth, perfectly cooked noodles, and big chunks of tender pork! I, being the reviewer for the family, get the blessing of trying everything! Despite being full after all of that, we found room in our dessert stomachs to try the Banana fritter sundae--not like the picture, this dish is actually slices of banana wrapped in wontons and fried served on a dish with syrup and I believe possibly honey, with a large scoop of French vanilla ice cream in the center. So not a fritter but delicious, crispy hot wontons served with al a mode with syrup and peanut. Everyone loved it. Though I would make a SPECIAL NOTE: about the ice cream having crushed PEANUT on top none of us are allergic but I'm not a fan of peanut so I just ate around it. Our first night in Arroyo Grande and needed some flavor and comfort. Found this place on Yelp and it's just a few minutes away from our stay. Service is EXCELLENT. This is a family owned and operated restaurant. They truly care about the customer and their experience. We had: *Kickin' Noods - chock full of deliciousness like sliced pork, pork balls, perfectly cooked noodles and toppings. The broth is Tom Yum-based, so lemongrass really freshens this dish up. *Fried Tofu - not coated (which I love) and fried crispy outside and soft inside. Not greasy. *Shumai (dim sum) - filled with succulent pork and steamed to perfection. *Thai Iced Tea - HUGE serving, perfect flavor, not too sweet. *Mango Sticky Rice - served just like you see it in the pics. A mango heart with a mound of warm sticky rice drizzled with coconut cream. So big, we took half home for later. *Coconut Ice Cream - y'all. This not just any coconut ice cream. Our server told us the recipe is from her 80-something year old grandpa, who still makes this from scratch all by himself. This is LOVE, right here. My first experience here was wonderful. Me and my party was 21 people, most of them kids with 3 being babies. The service was great. The 2 ladies and 2 older men were very welcoming. They accommodated our requests and was fast with getting our food out too. And the food was all fantastic. We ordered udon noodles, pad Thai, pho, fried rice, gyoza, mango sticky rice, and Thai teas... and thats just from my side of the table. They were all up to our liking. The pad Thai was light in flavor, not heavy or too sweet. The udon noodles I didn't eat but had a taste of the broth and omg it was delicious. Pho was good aswell but my fiance wished they had chilli oil and fish sauce. Appetizers got demolished by the kids so there's that. And the Thai tea and mango sticky was just right on the sweetness. Ugh, so so happy there's a Thai/Viet fusion place here at 5 cities now! Before I get to the food review, I have to say that their menu was spectacularly made. I love the symbols of which protein is in each dish. My partner cannot eat beef therefore, it made it easier for us to order! I ordered the House Pho, Spicy Daddy, side Pork soup, and Sticky Mango Bliss. The House Pho was just what I needed. It had lots of meat, broth, and noodles (I still have leftovers!). My partner also liked his dish but did wish it spicier! The Sticky Mango Bliss was delicious, I couldn't get enough of it! Definitely going back again soon! read more

I'm from out of town and found this little place with Mom and Grandma running the show. I ordered the House Pho and it was amazing a good portion of beef and meatballs. The broth was clear and aromatic. If I lived here this would be a weekly visit. Service was excellent and the dining area is clean and inviting. Just amazing! A bit of a hole in wall, really clean and excellent service. Food was perfectly spiced and savory. Tried several dishes including spring rolls (seasonal), gyoza, nood chicken, nood beef, drunken noodle w/ tofu and the Spicy Daddy (spicy!) for the win! Special shout for the mango sticky rice. Went to grab dinner and there were two other tables seated. The service was fantastic. Patient and friendly servers. The noodles were delicious and the thai iced coffee was divine! I would skip the gyoza and wontons next time since it just tasted like generic fried frozen appetizers. I do regret not trying the dessert so I'll have to be back for that. My reason for the 4 stars was the wait time for the food. With so few parties it shouldnt have taken 30 minutes for the food. That being said, I do prefer to wait for fresh hot food versus quick food that's been sitting and reheated. They have to learn to be a bit quicker to keep up with demand but otherwise it's definitely worth a try! read more

Came back a second time and had an even better experience than the first time. Service is phenomenal. They make you feel sooo appreciated for choosing Mr Noods. I haven't been treated this good at a restaurant ever. The waitress was nice and attentive. The gentleman kindly explained differences between some noodle dishes and another sweet lady would come out to ask if everything is okay and would thank customers. They were sooo friendly and humble. The food was excellent! I had the tom yum kicking noodles dish and it was delicious! Broth, rice noodles, and spices were perfect! I also really liked the bean sprouts green onions in the soup. The coconut ice cream was sooo good! It's fluffy and airy and it's not too sweet. Mango sticky rice was unique and beautifully presented. Perfect way to end a very satisfying meal. My family and I were incredibly excited to try Mr.Noods. From the moment we walked in the door we were greeted warmly and treated like family. This is a family run establishment. 3 generations from Taiwan, grandparents, parents and their little guy who inspired the logo and the entire dream of making their restaurant a reality. They were all so gracious and appreciative of our choosing to dine with them. When our appetizers arrived we thought perhaps it was an indicator that the food moving forward was going to be just "alright". We weren't all that impressed...BUT their iced tea and entrees were phenomenal, huge portions and absolutely delicious. I ordered the OG Noods pork edition with thin rice noodles, the pork was SO tender. My husband ordered the Yaki Yaki Love with beef which he thoroughly enjoyed. (I tasted it as well and it was yummy.) My son had the chicken Pad Thai and was pleased as well. Now for the coconut cloud sweet ending. OMG delicious, and typically I don't even like coconut and I would go back just for that. It was the 80 y/o Grandmother's recipe and we got an order for the table to try and even though we were stuffed it was gone before we knew it. Service was a little slow, but owner did apologize and mentioned they are working on hiring more staff. Owners were very kind and hospitable. And we're really working hard to accommodate everyone. I am so pleasantly surprised at how much I loved the Pho from Mr. Noods. I wasn't sure as they didn't have an online website. The flavor was fantastic. The portion was perfect. I was really happy with the amount of beef that came with it. I am sad I didn't get to try the golden egg rolls (the fryer wasn't working), but I will be trying them next time! New location in Grover Beach. Formerly Divine Thai and Khang Thai. Not sure if same owners or just a rebrand but the menu is very different from the two former restaurants. Nice location right off Grand Street. Not much street parking but there is plenty of parking in the back and side for costumers so check it out. It was still the Grand Opening. They havent worked out all the kinks. You walk up to order if you are taking it to go. Walking to the front they will also tell you to sit if dining in. A bit short on staff but very friendly. Food was good. A solid 3.5 with room to improve. Appetizers Cheese ragoons and gyozas tasted exactly how they should. Priced for location, but not world changing. Almost like a dollar a piece. We each got a different noodle dish. The traditional pho was good, needed more salt. Pad see ew was good, broccoli a bit overdone. Crimson bowl had good flavor, noodles were more sauced then anticipated. Not exactly like the picture. All in all good; willing to give another chance in yhe future. read more

They were out of most of the items I ordered initially like the Pork ramen, which apparently is very popular, but I wouldn't know as what ordered never showed up. Truly a Central Coast treasure, exquisite pho, pad see ew fried rice, and appetizers. We had the cheese puffs, and egg rolls. I had the pork OG pho, and shrimp fried rice, generously portioned and prepared with a lot of heart, she had the pad Thai with tofu. Some of the best fried tofu cubes we've had anywhere. Feels like the kind of hidden gem you'd find in LA, not sleepy Grover. Truly loving the new influx of places in Grover, and this is among the top tier. Grateful for the family atmosphere, place had lots of younger folks hanging with friends and their big bowls of pho. Ask for the spice tray to elevate the punch. I ordered my pho medium, since its my first time and not knowing how spicy it would go. I love spicy food and the medium was a mild in my book, so I'll order hot level next time, but they provided a spice tray so I was happy, the flavor of the pho is delicious and hearty, no qualms about it. Highly recommend. This was my first time eating at this newly opened restaurant, and wow! I did not expect it to be this good. It's a Thai-fusion spot with tons of noodle and fried-rice options, plus amazing desserts. I ordered the crab fried rice, and it was super delicious. I also tried two different noodle dishes:one with a soup base and another that tasted like a Pad-Thai fusion with clams. Both were great. For the dessert I had deep fried banana with mango ice cream so good. The service was great, quick, and friendly. The restaurant is in a convenient location, and there's a parking lot in the back, which makes it easy to get in and out. Honestly, if I could eat here every day, I would. This is a small family owned restaurant ran by husband and wife. The ambiance is small and cozy. The menu is simple with plenty of options. My husband enjoyed the quirky menu and it was easy to read. We had the OG pork noodles and the OG beef noodles. They were both very delicious. The pork broth was on the sweeter side and the beef broth was on the heartier side. I quite enjoyed the beef soup overall. This was our first time trying it and we hope to come again to try their other dishes, too! I don't understand all these five star reviews because me and my girlfriend went looking for a local area to get food quickly so I looked up the takeout places and found this place had the highest rating 5.0 out of 10 reviews sounded reliable . So once we got there, the line to order was 10 minutes long finally when we get to be next in line the register the lady taking the order before us either didn't know how to use the register or can see the buttons because she said oh sorry there's an error I have to restart your receipt. Luckily no such error occurred during our order process thankfully. She was nice and by the time we sat down to wait for our food the line was literally out the door. So we're waiting and waiting for our food literally no joke 50 minutes go by the lady that ordered before us is sitting next to us like pacing back and forth so then after she gets called up we think all right any minute now our order will be ready but then another 10 minutes go by and we only ordered the pho soup, pad thai, egg rolls, gyoza, and Sweet sticky Rice do it's not a huge order by any means. Finally I go up and ask them is it ready and they say oh we're just waiting on the sticky rice and I see them put the sticky rice at that moment into the microwave and as our rest of our food is sitting there. At any point in time we could have easily microwaved it for the 5 minutes and had it ready the rest of the food. So finally its done. Hallelujah they hand it to us and say here sorry for the wait here's a free thai tea for the wait. My friend goes to leave since shes had an upset husband wait at the dinner table for over an hour back home but thankfully I count the food boxes and say wait where is our other appetizer, the gyoza? They're like oh! that's what these must be and point to a plate that came up 20 minutes earlier and has been sitting on the counter only after I saw them walk around to all the tables asking did you order these? and it was nobodys so it stayed plated next to our food being bagged up for the last 20 minutes. So they just slide them into a to go box off the plate and say oh here you go. Thank God I remembered it or else it would have stayed there forgotten and we would've been charged for a missing food so if you think this was a bad experience now I can only imagine realizing once we were home that they weren't there ohy god shi* would've really hit the fan then. Unsurprisingly it was cold, but besides that the food was decent the sticky rice was great but the pho was missing bean sprouts and Thai Basil toppings. The service was awful, I'm sorry for being so harsh but I need to warn fellow customers. I really respect the cook he's very hard working but they should get more proficient cashiers and definitely hire more employees cuz all the people eating in also were waiting like 30-40 minutes just to get drinks. I hate leaving bad reviews but this place has so much potential and they were all very kind don't get me wrong but I will never go back again to wait so long get cold food and then almost walk out without a complete order.
