This AI assistant is a placeholder which only increase customer frustration and doesn't enhance customer satisfaction. Air dam -- low profile mind you! -- was torn off by brushes or something, and the attendants (very apologetically) told us it happens a lot & when it does, they pay to fix it. A few of our follow-up calls in the days/weeks afterwards, we're told the same. **After a few months** of follow-ups & repeated re-assurances, we are then "re-informed" that if the vehicle is over 7 y/o they disclaim all responsibility & refuse to pay for any damage. **Moral of the Story**: Think again before your 7+y/o vehicle is serviced here & do not trust any statements from employees, managers, etc. b/c ** "corporate says nyet"** read more

Brian, the manager at the Austintown location, went above and beyond to help me. Somehow I got all kinds of sap from a tree all over my car. He made sure to spray every spot to make sure it didnt ruin my paint. And he had the best attitude of any car wash employee I have experienced. Great car wash located along Banksville Road. There are always plenty of workers to keep the line moving, and I appreciate that they'll power wash the front end of my car in the summertime to get the bugs off. The "Magic" car wash knocked the taillight lens off. It was found in the car wash so that is not debatable. A claim was filed. The convoluted logic by Taylor and others was that the taillight was after market because it had a protect film on it, although the film was intact and it was the plastic lens that knocked off. Had monthly autopayment subscription for some time and used Mr. Magic regularly at various locations. Went thru Banksville car wash and was not guided correctly on the track -and was told to put my car in neutral prematurely. As a result, there was a bad grinding sound that I never experienced before and my perfect tire rims were badly scraped (I had just had my car detailed not that long before and I am the sole driver). Filed a report with Mr. Magic and received an email saying the case was closed/not their fault without even talking with me. Cancelled my subscription and when asked why via email they still didn't reach out. I will escalate this claim until it is resolved responsibly by Mr. Magic. Bottom line, if they do damage to your vehicle it is your problem, not theirs. read more

I am a monthly member and user of Mr.Magic Car wash. I have been a member for over 2 years. On 03-07-2025 I took my jeep thru the banksville car wash as I have done countless times. While going thru,there was a loud banging noise from.the passenger side. The left scrub brush ripped off my entire right front fender molding. The molding was laying in the car wash. The manager took a picture. I immediately filed a claim. The rude woman at 412-343-3555 told a decision on the claim takes 5 to 7 days. The damage from the wash was 310 dollars. I recieved a letter on 03-12-2025 denying my claim. WHAT A CHEESY WAY TO RIP OFF CUSTOMERS! If your car damaged,ur screwed. My jeep renegade is in top shape. Ever since Mr Magic was bought out by an investment firm in 2022, the quality of the car wash experience has gone WAY downhill! My car always comes out with dirty water streaks, drips and areas that weren't rinsed properly. I complained to the new owners several times via email and one response from a manager was "yes the same thing happened to my wife's car this weekend". Sadly, nothing has improved. Mr. Magic used to be a very reliable fun experience. Nothing was better than that "Clean Car" feel when you went through the wash and your car came out spotless! My SUV trim got pulled off and damaged at one of the South Hills locations. Lizzie at the office is in charge of the investigations gave me the run around for months for repayment to fix the part. She informed me that I was going to get reimbursed after they failed to pay the dealership. Therefore, I had to paid the dealership to get my SUV back. I had the phone on speaker at the dealership where she informed me that the check was sent to the wrong location (excuse after excuse). Then she promised I would directly get reimbursed and never have. Then she placed the blame on the accounting department who cuts the checks. I have wasted countless hours getting it fixed, phone calls and emails with Lizzie at Mr. Magic Car Wash. This place has horrible customer service and communication. I hope that Mr. Magic will not treat anyone else like this or ruin another vehicle. 100 yards before turning into your establishment I look in my rear view to a car tailgating me for absolutely no reason at all. Being confused, I turned into the parking lot, with my turn signals on. I think nothing of it. Now the car proceeds to get even closer to my rear while I have another car in front of me. I'm trying to simply pull into 1 of the vacuum stalls. The car behind me tries to pass me by going through the vacuum stalls. I have at this point put my left turn signal on to show I'm trying to turn into a spot with out him hitting me and because he was driving even closer. Being so confused about what this guy is trying to do I look in my rear view mirror to see a male with his hood up flipping me off as I finally am parked at a vacuum. He then proceeds to PARK WHAT I NOW ASSUME IS A CUSTOMERS CAR AND IT WAS A EMPLOYEE DRIVING. All of this was done with a cop car in line to have his police vehicle cleaned. As I look back I see this employee laughing and smiling at me while telling other workers what had just happened?? I then wanted to get my car cleaned after I finished vacuuming. To pull up to the same employee standing at the machine you pay at. Not wanting to deal with this person and not give my money to this business. I reversed out and in complete amazement that employee flips me off AGAIN while laughing in front of a ton of other customers. I couldn't imagine acting this way in a customers car, at my place of employment, and in front of a police officer. This shows me the management behind these employees condone the behavior and doesn't reprimand any one. Being how blatant this guy acted knowing nothing would happen to him. I am so lazy about my car. I shrug if I see a scratch or dent and clean the inside basically never. I'm the worst car owner ever. So obviously you can read between the lines that I don't wash my car too often. Maybe once a month to once every other month. But when I do, I want it to be looking like a sparkling new vehicle (minus those scratches and dents). My car comes out of this place like when you rinse off at the beach. There are still places missed and you always find sand somewhere! It's so convenient to where I live, but I do really need to stop coming here and find somewhere else close. It's not a car wash experience, but more like a light rinse for $10. Saw that the formerly family-owned company was sold to "Incline Equity Partners" early this year. Went to the Mt. Lebanon Boulevard location today. They are going the automation route even more than before. Instead of the booth with the attendant, they are transitioning to kiosks where you put your debit or credit card in. They have a couple of employees "helping" customers at the kiosks, but that will soon be gone. They no longer give you the complimentary moist towelette when you pay. I got one today because I asked for it. The person told me that you have to ask as they have a "limited supply." Translation - kiss the towelettes goodbye completely in the next few weeks. Also, the people who spray off and prewash your car are gone. Only one that's left is the person directing you onto the wash conveyor. The new ownership group is showing all the makings of squeezing every last penny and operating on the cheap, while jacking their prices and apparently buying up other mom and pop carwashes. I wouldn't be a bit surprised if "Bottom Line Bob Nutting" is the principal of Incline Equity. Not a good experience today. I'm going to try somewhere else (unless they get bought out by this crew as well). read more

Awful experience. First of all it is run by high school aged and very young men, all males who are rude and condescending to women, total thugs. I was first greeted by a young male who was looking at his phone while waving me onto the belt. Never looked up from his phone and just kept waving me on. At one point I was looking at the flashing sign indicating when to put my car in neutral when he came up to my window flapping his hands all around and yellong at me "when I tell you to stop that means stop!" I told him that the way he was acting was unnecessary and he says "who are you talking to?" I replied back and he then said "why don't you get out of the f*****g car!" Oh, this escalated to a level that I'm still in shock over. Threatening and calling on a customer!!?? Are you serious?!?! He and the rest of the young men there refused to give me the superior's phone number (because supposedly they are instructed to not provide customers with his number) and made me sit on the belt for 10 minutes without moving my car through the carwash. I tell you this was the most disgraceful treatment I have ever received from an establishment! I am replied f this all the way to corporate. I am immediately canceling my membership. I will never give this business another penny. It's run by and operated by total trash! read more

I just paid $15 for a car wash and it didn't even rinse the soap off my car. I had to come home and get the hose out. I've never had any issue with Mr. Magic until recently and have visited multiple locations many times over the years. This is my second issue with them this week -- the location on Mt. With their new ownership: towel-drying, wheel-blaster (that was included with basic wash), Jerry's prices and the automatic manual pre-spray (to remove bug/bird residue) all have disappeared. I went in for a single car wash, and they signed me up for a monthly unlimited membership without informing me the details. I thought I was paying for a single wash.... 3 months later realized I have been charged every month and obviously hadn't used the "unlimited" service. When I spoke to their accounting (?) person Liz, she was inflexible and would not offer any refunds or credits. She simply stated the terms are at all our car washed and no refund can be issued!! I pay for the top wash and today i just got water sprayed with No cleaning, my tires weren't touched , dirt all over my vehicle- unbelievable! Mr Magic carwash McCandless : In April I had my wheels repaired and painted. Last week 05/20/24 I brought my car to have it cleaned and my newly painted wheels were damaged. I immediately brought it to the attendees attention and the next day they wrote up my claim and saw the damage. Of course after reviewing the camera's to determine if the wheels were damaged prior to the car wash occurring they claim the lighting was too light and they couldn't see the wheels. Also they claim their equipment could not have caused the damage. So now I will have a $375.00 bill to have both drivers side wheels repaired and painted. I would highly suggest that you do not use their car washes because obviously they don't stand by their service. The damage was from whatever brushes they use to clean the wheels or the track that the drivers side wheels are placed into. Save yourself headaches and repair costs and do not use them. I drove my 2019 Subaru WRX through this car wash on 2/9/24. I normally hand wash my car because I don't trust drive thru car washes. I was in the area and had a few minutes to kill before picking up my dinner and decided to go to this car wash. I figured it would be one that's safe for me to use, being that it's in the heart of Cranberry, but I was very wrong. I got home from there and saw swirl marks/scratches down the entire driver side of my car. I contacted the car wash, who asked for me to bring it back so the manager could file a damage report. When I got there, the manager of the car wash was great, and very friendly. Him and another employee agreed that there were visible scratches on the car, and told me someone would be in touch. The next day, the district manager, Don, contacted me and came out to see my car. He came out whenever it was very overcast and with my car being a dark gray metallic, he said he could not see any scratches. He told me even if he could see them that there's no way it could have been caused by the car wash, and they are from my car being 5 years old. Keep in mind, my car is a WRX, and anyone who knows anything about cars knows they are very nice cars (even the manager of the actual car wash told me how nice my car was) After talking to the district manager and him telling me they won't take responsibility for the damage caused, I asked him who his supervisor was because I wanted to speak to someone who would actually listen to me, instead of insulting me. He told me there's no one else above him, and he wouldn't do anything to make this right. My car was immaculate and did not have any scratches or swirl marks prior to this car wash. I have reached out to this company multiple times now to have this resolved but no one will return any calls or emails. I am now left with a scratched up car and a company that will not take accountability for it. It's mind blowing to me that this happened by no fault of my own, other than my stupidity of trusting this car wash, and they will not do anything at all to make it right. I have patronage all 3 new locations (formerly Jerry's), this issue happened at McCandless, I bought the $15 wash with wheel blast. Needless to stay, the wheels didn't get touched. The bigger issue is that I have reached out twiced to Mr. Magic through the 'contact' on their website with feedback of my issue (have pictures as well). To date no response back from Mr. Magic. From their website, "At Mr. Magic Car Wash, quality of service has been and will continue to be the foundation of our company's success WE GUARANTEE IT!" Not sure what they guarantee, but their communications to customers as a lot to be desired. I would think twice about buying any wash higher than the basic wash to get the dirt off your car. I am a bit of a car fanatic! I have a Mr. Magic wash club card and loving having unlimited washes each month. There are several locations throughout the south hills which makes this place convent! The often have Groupon specials, which is great because I would say their good wash packages are cheap if you're looking for a wash every now and then. I always washed my company vehicles here before picking up clients. It was my go-to car wash because they had the discount from checking in here on Yelp. They shut down for a while due to "renovations" and when they finally reopened, they removed their Yelp discount. Now you need to pay additional for the same job. In addition, one of the vacuums barely works. But of course, they don't tell you that. You only find out after the machine eats your money. There are better places to have your car washed where you get more bang for your buck. I won't be back. read more

I love coming to this car wash. The employees are always very nice. They offer to wash my floor mats when they are not busy too. I often use a coupon found on the back of a giant eagle receipt for a discounted signature wash. My car always leaves squeaky clean here. And the complimentary interior wipe is always a plus. read more
