Such a fun Pool Hall! Me & a couple of friends went here on a Friday night and had so much fun! There is a bar inside in the back with snacks, energy drinks & beers/Trulys on tap! Be prepared to wait for a table though! This place gets packed and depending on how long others stay at a table, determines how fast your name moves up to the top of the waitlist. The owners are super nice and will call out your name multiple times & even keep your name on the top of the list just in case you are coming back. Such a great place with music, drinks, sports games playing and pool! Definitely a cool spot to bring friends if you want to just do something fun and easy together!

Stopped by on a Sunday night one hour prior to closing and was excited to get a game of pool in with my boyfriend, however, the excitement went away quickly due to the unfriendly and unfortunate service here. We arrived exactly at 12am (they close at 1am) and every table was full but we were willing to wait and we added ourselves to a list but we weren't exactly welcomed with positive vibes. The blonde woman assigning tables was very blunt, short, and not friendly when getting us a table. Lucky for us, we got a table thanks to a group that was leaving. We were having a good time finishing up our second game, but around 12:26AM the woman started shouting "LaSt GaMe!" And I remember checking the time and wondering why? When they still have over 30 minutes left til closing? We finished our game shortly after and were setting up for our 3rd game when she started to shout again, only this time, AT US! "THAT WAS YOUR LAST GAME TURN IN YOUR BALLS" which was incredibly rude, disrespectful and immature. We had barely gotten our table at 12:10 and you pay by the hour here so we were not interested in leaving after we only played for 20 mins, their hours say they close at 1AM, and every single table was still playing their game but she wanted us to leave early? How is that fair? We didn't even get to finish our last game in peace because the woman made us feel uncomfortable and the energy felt unwelcoming so we paid and left quickly because they were rushing us. We also unfortunately had to come back shortly after because the woman was in a huge rush to get us out that she did not give us our ID back used to hold the table. When asking for the ID back she rolled her eyes and appeared as if we inconvenienced her, even though it is her responsibility to give us back our ID after paying. Overall, would not recommend going here because the service was not positive, friendly or welcoming at all, and we much rather would have preferred they not give us a table at all, than to give us a table and rush us out over 30 minutes prior to closing. It was ridiculous behavior coming from a business thats meant to be welcoming.

Cool, relaxed place to go with friends. Price: The prices are great. We played 5 games and ended up paying less than $22 total. It's a great deal and fun place to go with friends. Atmosphere: The place is busy, but the crowd is friendly, and the laughter is contiguous. The space is a good size, and everyone has space to hang out with their crowd without feeling bunched together with the next crowd. The interior is basic and a little bland with a couple of murals on the walls. But then again, it's a billards and you don't really need a fancy place to shoot pool. I personally like the place as it is. Heads up, they have two different size pool tables, some are small and others are standard size (much larger) than the smaller ones. Service: The staff is great, friendly and helpful. They check up on you and are great with getting you a pool table as fast as they can. The wait time for a pool table is about 30 mins. on average, and you're allowed to wait inside at the bar or at an open table with chairs to watch the games. If you get a table but want to switch pool tables they staff is very accommodating and will allow you to switch to a different pool table. The bar area is basic with a small selection of drinks but it's a bar and you have drinks. You also chexk-in at the bar to get a pool table. Location: It's located in Torrance on Hawthorne Blvd. It's in a safe area with plenty of parking and it has easy access to the shopping center. I recommend bringing your own pool stick theirs are old, warnout, and they seem to be shorter than the average pool stick.

We play there almost every week, the staff is great, always friendly. Good cold beer. You can choose your music and the tables are great.

Real players are here and don't mind novices and those that haven't played in a while. I think this will be my go-to billiards spot. The staff are really nice and help you with any questions you may have. Music is great. 70's classic music.

I haven't shot pool or played a game of pool since high school. I came here with a good doctor; JP. We had a little man date. We had to wait almost 2 hours for a pool table. We came here around 8pm on a Friday night and it was packed. But the good thing about this place is, they served alcohol.. so, both of us had couple of beers. This place is famous because it has about 10 pool tables. No wonder, it got busy especially on Friday night. JP and I played about 4 games; which I lost all 4.. none the less, it was fun.

Nice place to play pool, thank god it's smoke free and smells nice. Dominos next door if you want food as they only serve drinks. Solid selection of beers and cider. And they also do HH, easy to find parking pretty large lot.

Small parking lot that may park about 5 cars and watch the street signs for parking. Pool table & full service bar. Mostly bar seating with a banquette along one wall. What made this bar cool is Sandra, la Reina de Moctezuma as she refers to herself. Breezy, lively, nonchalante, a bit coquettish to the "right guy", socially charming to her other guests. She creates her own story line to create her aura & drama. Author John Rechy, if he were straight, would have featured Miz Sandra in one of his novels like the City of Night. Ordered a pint of Guinness & Harp combination, but I didn't call it a "black & tan" in an Irish pub for historical reasons. But Sandra told me they don't have Harp, and suggested I do a Snake Bite instead which is half Guinness & Hard Cider. I opted for just Guinness since I wasn't in an experimental mood. Later, she was kind enough to let me sample a shot of the Strong Bow Hard Cider which was smooth, sweet, acidic with actual sour apple flavour. Next time I'll have to order the Snake Bite. Don't know how exactly Irish Sly Fox is with its grunge-garage rock music. But it's a good, unpretentious, local hang out. And of course, there's Sandra, la Reina de Moctezuma who is worth the visit. 4- stars

I got to visit Keegan's again recently when a friend was visiting from out of town. We had just grabbed dinner and boba and headed out here to hang out for Saturday night. We came close to 10pm and there was a bouncer at the door checking everyone's IDs. The place was relatively packed with several different celebrations and birthdays in their outdoor area that has all the fire pits. They had waiters coming around the outside tables but one could also go straight to the bar to place drink orders. There were several tvs around the bar area and I spotted a pool area towards the back of the outside area. Most of the fire pits seating was taken by large parties but there were some smaller tables, that my friend and I were able to sit at. We didn't get any food but I got to try my old favorite Lemon Drop - which was a nice, refreshing sweet treat for a Saturday night. I did quickly scan the food menu and it's a lot of traditional bar food like burgers and fries. The music for the night consisted of old school rap songs from the 2000s. It seemed perfectly catered to the crowd for the night that seemed to consist of folks in their 30s and a few folks in their early 40s. Overall visiting here took me back to when my friend celebrated her birthday. It's an overall chill spot . The crowd wasn't overly loud or rowdy and everyone was just out enjoying a Saturday night.

I recently came in on a weekday before the dinner rush hour since the top floor tends to fill up QUICK. I'm a fan of their beer battered fish & chips, Korean BBQ chicken bites, and their Reuben (pleasant surprise). Location is probably the only thing keeping this restaurants head above water, because it certainly isn't the food. To be fair, the food wasn't the worst to be had, but it surely didn't rise to the occasion. That occasion being satisfaction. Don't expect to walk away feeling that you got what you paid for, unless of course it was convenience and location. That you'll get in spades. Here's where we blew it. My girl ordered the salmon. We unfortunately didn't ask before ordering if it was wild caught. YOU MUST ALWAYS ASK IF THE SALMON IS WILD CAUGHT. We forgot. We assumed, and ended up being spanked. At first bite it became apparent that the poor fish gave its life in vain. Asking at the end of the meal if the salmon was farm raised, our server leaned in and said "not only is it farm raised, it comes to us frozen". Then seeing the unfinished fish on the plate, the server apologized and then proceeded to tell us what were the best options on the menu. Those being the burgers, nachos, and shepherds pie. Stick to those and enjoy the booze, scenery, and fresh salt air. Yes, if the salmon isn't fresh, you can count on the air being so. Oh, I should let you know what I ordered. I had to settle on my third choice of beer, and my second choice of entree. No brisket sandwich, and no 805, or Pacifico beer. I settled for a BLT with avocado and a Coors Light. That worked in a pinch. Quick Tip: Try to get a table up top and next to the edge. You'll understand when seated. Don't forget the sunglasses. Again, you'll understand when seated. Southern California shines and displays its wares proudly.
