I was surprised to find a pool hall in torrance. I haven't shot pool in over 50 years. Used to play a lot in my 20s. The atmosphere is very pleasant. Younger players as well as old timers. Love it!! read more

Great place to have drinks and shoot some pool. Everybody here seems to know each other and the staff are very friendly. Pretty standard for a pool hall. Tables are nice and pricing is pretty fair. Must check this place out if you want to play pool in the South Bay Area. read more

Great place to play pool. My daughter, her friend and myself had an itch to play pool so we went out to Mr Lucky's Billiards. Great atmosphere, friendly patrons, reasonable wait time for a Monday evening. Skills of all levels. Prices for beverages and pool time were quite reasonable. Will definitely have Mr. Lucky's be my go-to pool place for the Southbay. read more

So it's 2:50 pm on a Tuesday afternoon and this is the place to chill out at. Only the OG pool players are here (so no mess, no fuss no loud heavy metal music.) Their place is always clean, tables nice, bar top is never sticky and the taps are crispy, freaking cold and delicious. Today Dave was working and suggested a Twisted Tea, I took a sip.....I was going to be in trouble!!!! It was so freaking good (I had 2). Dave is always so awesome and he's attentive and personable. He's just great at what he does! I will definitely be back to see him and have some more Twisted Tea. read more

Love this spot! Come early tho cuz it gets busy. Great ambiance jukebox for music. They got snacks as well for the munchies

Just came here for the first time. Stopped by to play some racks. Awesome place, friendly staff, excellent tables and equipment. I recommend this to anyone from serious players looking for tables to people just trying to find a place to have fun and shoot some pool. Good ambiance read more

Such a fun Pool Hall! Me & a couple of friends went here on a Friday night and had so much fun! There is a bar inside in the back with snacks, energy drinks & beers/Trulys on tap! Be prepared to wait for a table though! This place gets packed and depending on how long others stay at a table, determines how fast your name moves up to the top of the waitlist. The owners are super nice and will call out your name multiple times & even keep your name on the top of the list just in case you are coming back. Such a great place with music, drinks, sports games playing and pool! Definitely a cool spot to bring friends if you want to just do something fun and easy together! read more

Stopped by on a Sunday night one hour prior to closing and was excited to get a game of pool in with my boyfriend, however, the excitement went away quickly due to the unfriendly and unfortunate service here. We arrived exactly at 12am (they close at 1am) and every table was full but we were willing to wait and we added ourselves to a list but we weren't exactly welcomed with positive vibes. The blonde woman assigning tables was very blunt, short, and not friendly when getting us a table. Lucky for us, we got a table thanks to a group that was leaving. We were having a good time finishing up our second game, but around 12:26AM the woman started shouting "LaSt GaMe!" And I remember checking the time and wondering why? When they still have over 30 minutes left til closing? We finished our game shortly after and were setting up for our 3rd game when she started to shout again, only this time, AT US! "THAT WAS YOUR LAST GAME TURN IN YOUR BALLS" which was incredibly rude, disrespectful and immature. We had barely gotten our table at 12:10 and you pay by the hour here so we were not interested in leaving after we only played for 20 mins, their hours say they close at 1AM, and every single table was still playing their game but she wanted us to leave early? How is that fair? We didn't even get to finish our last game in peace because the woman made us feel uncomfortable and the energy felt unwelcoming so we paid and left quickly because they were rushing us. We also unfortunately had to come back shortly after because the woman was in a huge rush to get us out that she did not give us our ID back used to hold the table. When asking for the ID back she rolled her eyes and appeared as if we inconvenienced her, even though it is her responsibility to give us back our ID after paying. Overall, would not recommend going here because the service was not positive, friendly or welcoming at all, and we much rather would have preferred they not give us a table at all, than to give us a table and rush us out over 30 minutes prior to closing. It was ridiculous behavior coming from a business thats meant to be welcoming. read more

Cool, relaxed place to go with friends. Price: The prices are great. We played 5 games and ended up paying less than $22 total. It's a great deal and fun place to go with friends. Atmosphere: The place is busy, but the crowd is friendly, and the laughter is contiguous. The space is a good size, and everyone has space to hang out with their crowd without feeling bunched together with the next crowd. The interior is basic and a little bland with a couple of murals on the walls. But then again, it's a billards and you don't really need a fancy place to shoot pool. I personally like the place as it is. Heads up, they have two different size pool tables, some are small and others are standard size (much larger) than the smaller ones. Service: The staff is great, friendly and helpful. They check up on you and are great with getting you a pool table as fast as they can. The wait time for a pool table is about 30 mins. on average, and you're allowed to wait inside at the bar or at an open table with chairs to watch the games. If you get a table but want to switch pool tables they staff is very accommodating and will allow you to switch to a different pool table. The bar area is basic with a small selection of drinks but it's a bar and you have drinks. You also chexk-in at the bar to get a pool table. Location: It's located in Torrance on Hawthorne Blvd. It's in a safe area with plenty of parking and it has easy access to the shopping center. I recommend bringing your own pool stick theirs are old, warnout, and they seem to be shorter than the average pool stick. read more

This place has a chill vibe to it. It's kind of small for a billiards place but still does have enough tables to play. They have a mini bar & you can sit there as well. The music is kind of random they play old school rock , 60s music & then it switch to edm, it was all good music but just didn't flow right. It was kind of busy for a Sunday. I had to wait about 20 min to get a pool table which isn't bad. Overall the place was good. read more

The service is always Spot On Excellent. People who leave a negative review have no clue what it takes to work behind a bar or open or close nightly. If you don't know maybe you should ask before leaving an uneducated review. Show up at closing time and you probably won't get to shoot pool. These people should stay home !!!!!! All Staff is Excellent . read more

I visited the pool hall and discovered that the wait time was two hours+. I sat and waited for an hour before leaving. I would recommend going very early in the evening if you want to play. Don't attempt to go after dinner on a weekend because you most likely will not get a table. read more

Real players are here and don't mind novices and those that haven't played in a while. I think this will be my go-to billiards spot. The staff are really nice and help you with any questions you may have. Music is great. 70's classic music. read more

Mr Lucky's Billiards - Game! - Pool Halls Near Me - Torrance, California

I haven't shot pool or played a game of pool since high school. I came here with a good doctor; JP. We had a little man date. We had to wait almost 2 hours for a pool table. We came here around 8pm on a Friday night and it was packed. But the good thing about this place is, they served alcohol.. so, both of us had couple of beers. This place is famous because it has about 10 pool tables. No wonder, it got busy especially on Friday night. JP and I played about 4 games; which I lost all 4.. none the less, it was fun. read more

Best salon bar billiards , nice and clean environment , Mr. David. Always and ready to help u , tables very good shape . Recommended

This place was fun! We were just trying to kill some time while waiting for an event to start. My group of 5 people walked in and easily got a table to start, and played for about half an hour before we had to leave. Everything was clean and fine, though it's not warm and inviting if you're looking for that. Typical bar, restrooms in the back, and many other tables nearby. Quite occupied for a Sunday evening (Christmas Day). read more

Good clean place. Could work on the exhaust system since it gets humid when crowded. Other than that good vibes all over with plenty of tables and overall clean place. Happy pooling! read more

Excellent tables.. cloth is top notch and brand new.. they clearly keep their tables in tournament quality. Pricing is fine and consistent with other places. I go to pool halls to play pool so, ultimately, the tables matter most to me and this place has some of the best tables I've played on in the area. read more

Absolutely terrible experience. Last call was an hour before closing, which is just insane. The staff seemed completely uninterested and the customer service was awful. I felt rushed and unwelcome the entire time. This place has no respect for their customers--won't be returning read more

This place is a Southbay institution, it is an amazing spot to play a solid few games of pool. Be sure to get there early, as it fills up quickly, especially on the weekends. read more

My friends and I always have a good time here. There are lots of pool tables and no limit to how long you can play. Often times, the place can be crowded, which means waiting for a table to open. However, there is a bar with plenty of beer, and always sports on tv. This is a good place to bring your friends, whether it be your pool buddies or mixed company. It can be a little bit loud inside, but it is fun and quite social. read more

This is amazing place to play pool but the front desk bar worker on the weekends with the blue hat is rude not patient, goes by favoritism to play the next pool in line. There should be text alerts for people in waiting lines. Other bar has text alerts read more

Great spot! Great service! Clean & safe environment. A good place for a Date Night.

Called ahead of time played for 40 mins got ONE BEER and coke cola as I came in I got no service my husband and I had to stand there awkwardly as the lady was talking to others she tried just handing us the balls but we also wanted drinks so we had to ask for the drinks kinda like she didn't want to deal with us and just talk to the regulars or whoever looked like she wanted to talk to please be more considerate to new players also they charged me 34$ so watch out for them overcharging you it was 14$ an hour I called after and asked because the price felt off and it was I added it up it was like they charged us 2hrs wich is 28$ plus a 6$ beer all adds up to 34$ that's not including the coke cola I got so what was it a hr of pool 14$ and a 6$ beer total of 20$ and then you guys just charged me 14$ for a single 20oz of coke CRAZY! read more

A great all around environment to hang with anybody that wants to chill and play pool and drink whatever the hell you want. The vibes and music hit the spot to ease into the weekend. Thumbs up for Mr Lucky's!!! read more

Vibe was cool but it was ruined by the way things are operated. People that are known are given preferences for tables. We waited for a whole hour and we saw someone that knew the bartender come in and give him something and for some reason he was given a table before us. Not to mention that same person was playing a game with another player from another table so when he was playing he was literally hogging the table. Don't waste your time and money, go somewhere else where they value all customers equally. read more
