Went for an oil change. Never had problems with a leak before. Next morning there was oil all under my van. Took it back and they tried to tell me it was transmission fluid. I took it to my mechanic and he told me they cracked the oil cooler and that's why the oil is running onto the ground. 600.00 for the part and labor on top. A 90.00 oil change turned into 1000.00. Never go to this place. Incompetent scammers. Stay far away from there. Of I could give it a negative star I would. read more

I just want to take a moment to share how grateful I am for the service I've received here, especially from Mike. He is incredibly kind, patient, and genuinely cares about helping people. As a woman, it can sometimes feel intimidating going into places like this, but Mike completely breaks that stereotype. He takes the time to explain everything clearly, never makes me feel rushed, and never once made me feel like I was being taken advantage of. He's also very understanding when it comes to financial situations, which means a lot. He's down-to-earth, friendly, and always welcoming, with the most amazing smile. He's helped me with issues like my lights not turning off, and he really took the time to figure it out instead of brushing it off. He's also helped me when my check engine light came on due to a past issue with my gas cap, again, taking the time to properly check and explain everything so I felt reassured. I also really appreciate his team. His co-workers are just as kind and supportive, and you can tell they all work together. It's a really great team environment, and it shows in the way they help customers. Every time I come in, I feel respected, heard, and taken care of. Because of Mike and his team, I feel safe and confident with my vehicle, knowing I have people I can trust if anything ever comes up. I absolutely love this location in Oshawa on King and Park. Thank you, Mike. You and your team truly make a difference. Kindly, Veronique read more

Come here all the time for my oil changes. Was in a pinch when I experienced a flat late last night . Truck jack would not allow for oversized spare tire to fit. Ethan and manager fit me in right right away and swapped my good tire on rim . Appreciate the service ! Great experience as always read more

They get the work done eventually. But this time I was told I would have ti come back to finish the work because they have to order the parts. I gst that. And they even tell me I don't have to wait in line because I already waited and already paid. Bonus??? Not!!! When i return the manager says that agent was lying, and I do have to wait again. Terrible! Terrible. I read more

I just want to let you know about the DISGUSTING service my wife received yesterday at Mr. Lube on Park road in Oshawa, ON. The "salesman" told her that smoke was coming out of the oil cap. (Which makes no sense and is obviously a lie). She was criticized for using another shop for an oil change when her vehicle was in for repair.  Kept talking down to her about not caring for her vehicle. When she asked for the window she was told "Why should I give you a sticker if your not going to read it?"   Did not fill up washer fluid or any other fluids, nor did they check the tire pressure.  These are all services that I got at the same Mr. Lube, however clearly this location is sexist and does not treat Women properly. The employee was so pushy, she was afraid to give her email address to him and then he would not print a receipt for her (again something I got at no charge from the same location 2 weeks ago). If you are a women, do not go here unless you want to be treated horrible, lied to and ripped off. Entire location needs retraining. read more

absolutely stay away from this Mr.Lube!!!!!!!. I brought my car in and they didn't put the filter on correctly(according to their employee) it leaked all over my driveway at my new house. I went back and they tightened the filter too tight causing damage to oil cooler. the car continued leaking causing more damage to my vehicle and my driveway. absolutley terrible customer service sent many emails to head office without reply! please stay away!!!! absolute crooks and terrible business morales!!!!!!!!!! read more

I recently purchased a new set of four tires. The price was pretty good and the manager matched their online price, which was about $60 less. From the moment we arrived I felt like we were at a clown show. First the price I was quoted somehow increased by about a $150. I managed to get that sorted out And got the price I was quoted. From there it just didn't get any better. One guy couldn't tighten the bolts on one tire and had to have someone else do it for him. Eventually they finished the tires. No one mentioned that I needed to come back to get the tires torqued until I asked as I was leaving. So about a day or so later the tire pressure warning came on. The next day when the tires were cold, I checked the tire pressure if each tire. The recommended tire pressure is 35 psi. The first tire was 29.5 psi. The second tire was 38 psi. The third tire was 30 psi and the forth was 28.5 psi. What the hell? This is a safety hazard. Absolutely unprofessional and negligent. Never again will I ever step foot anywhere near a Mr. Lube again. Avoid this place like the plague if you value your safety. read more

Brought the car in for a routine oil change and 5 minutes after leaving the Park Rd store, the skid plate fell off the car on highway 401 nearly killing my wife and whoever was in the car behind at the time. The car was looked at by mechanics at the dealership who noted that the Mr.Lube technician snapped the bolts off during the oil change and failed to fasten the skid plate back to the car properly. They also failed to mention that any bolts were snapped during the oil change before my wife left the Park Rd store. The regional manager for the store, who is a real greasy scum bag, wanted to buy us a third party skid plate at the time, but after several visits to the store and conversations on the phone decided to buy the proper plate supplied by the manufacture. But since the bolts were broken off in the chassis of the car they refused to reinstall the new plate or pay for the labour for the dealership technician to perform the work. So a routine oil change ended up costing over $200 for the labour to replace the plate plus the cost of the oil change that was never reimbursed. Lisa Conte, at their corporate office, was also useless in solving the matter and should be ashamed that she's allowing this owner to operate this way, putting drivers lives at risk. There's a Better Business Bureau claim against these guys now and suggest anyone who's had problems with this store to submit one as well. read more

I purchased all season tires at Mr. Lube May 2023 and they were under warranty for 80K. Last weekend (July 30, 2023) I noticed I had a flat tire and took it to Mr Lube. When I arrived I showed one of the technicians the flat tire. He inspected it and automatically said it had marks on it, needed to be replaced as it was damaged beyond repair. When I showed him my receipt and he saw it was under warranty he changed his mind instantly and had it fixed in 10 minutes. This is very poor customer service. read more

Aggressive Upselling and Poor Service!!! I went to the Mr Lube on Park Rd and dealt with a male employee named Joseph (which was on his shirt name tag, that he showed me). However, he was wearing a jacket with the name tag of "Chester" on it which covered his shirt.... (not sure why that is!). This man Joseph (or Chester) tried very aggressively to upsell me on services that I did not immediately require! And when I asked questions about the very expensive service prices, he tried talking circles around me with technical mechanical terms. I had to go through 2 other people at this location before I could get proper information about the pricing. This was very poor service and a very frustrating experienced! read more

Bought snow tires and rims. They were suppose install yires and rims, told me 1 of the lug nuts could not be removed, needed special tool. Told me it would cost about 100 dollars to fix this issue. 400 dollars later i finally got tires and rims install. Will never use Mr. Lube again. read more

Took advantage of my 18 year old son with his first car. Told him that his car only took Synthetic Oil. Tried to get him to change a newer air filter and told him he had no coolant. Lies and scams. I had it at my mechanic only 6 months prior and check his fluido constantly. read more

Car needed oil change told me they needed to flush the oil out of it, said ya whatever. Ruined my clutch because it was already old and when you do that flush it can reveal underlying problems.. obviously I would have needed a new clutch at some point but the fact of the matter is they told me my car needed something that it actually didn't and they showed negligence with not informing me of the risks associated with this flush. Haven't been able to drive my car for almost 2 weeks paid 942 for a new clutch old one still worked fine prior to flush I've also spent around $200 on Ubers just to get to work and I still need to pay 1000+ for the clutch installation so thanks me lube you will never get another dime out of me. Just went in for an oil change that's gonna cost me close to $3000 when everything is said and done read more

One of the worst repair shops you can visit! With no repair history of your vehicle they recommend fluid flushes and services that are completely unnecessary for your vehicle. If you want to get your oil changed quickly; call a reputable shop, book an appointment in advance! First time here. The staff were courteous and friendly. There was a little wait but not bad. There is some upselling but nothing aggressive. I will definitely use this service again read more

They market themselves as being fast, no appointment needed. In no way is this place ever fast. Staff are clueless, and other than offering you a free newspaper whilst you wait over an hour to be seen, they have no idea of customer service. read more

The point of these drive-thru quick lube places is to get an oil change fast and be on your way so you don't have to wait hours at your local mechanic shop or Canadian Tire. My experience in this regard has been average at best, having to wait 45-60 minutes before driving into the pit. Prices are reasonable for a drive-thru quick lube but for the amount of time having to wait I would almost rather visit the local Canadian Tire where oil changes are cheaper. With that said, my experience at this location has been excellent. Like every business, they try to upsell. But the moment they sense my disinterest in purchasing extra services, they respect that and move on, and do not keep pushing. I've been to other locations and they continue to push, which is pretty damn annoying. Also, the time it takes to wait is only increased by the number of services they offer, which I have used out of convenience and time (i.e. Transmission fluid change, fuel filter change, coolant flush, etc.). They are smart in offering these services but I really wish they could find the right balance of wait time vs. # of services. Perhaps more car bays is the answer for future new locations.. Overall I'm satisfied. But not overly.. read more
