Dave is a direct and a real genuine human in an undisguised mechanic body that will give your auto 'buddy' the right touch so that it's back on the road taking you from A to Z without having to worry, "Did they use the right oil, or was it Canola? Dang it! OMG, people without a vehicle at the moment do not know how lucky they are that the only thing they have to worry about is their presto card refills!!!" Like really people, we go through too much already to have to even fight this kind of battle!! You call this place up, already booking some days is quite tedious as their shop is humbly set up, enough for only a few vehicles at a time and the work is tediously done without the acquisitive approach on giving quotes on excess work you don't need at the moment. Without an appointment he lifted my car to take a look at what was wrong and proceeded to show me, in detail (and plain english) what was wrong with my brakes, exhaust etc. I knew I needed brake and exhaust work, and all other mechanics I visited gave me a rough estimate without explaining how, why or what specific work was required. Dave was happy to have me watch as he inspected my car, and then gave me a very fair estimate. When I picked up my car the next day, the final bill was actually less than he estimated, plus he changed the air filter (something he noticed that needed to be done while he was working on the car) Definitely a positive experience with a trustworthy mechanic in Toronto. Not the closest most convenient location to me (I live downtown), but just north of Finch Subway station (either walk or bus). I'll definitely be seeing Dave again next time my car has any trouble, and will be recommending him to family and friends.

Great way to allow customers to choose what they like best and what suits them. Had the front/rear rotors & pads done on my 2009 Odyssey back in July 2022 for approx $700. Ivan…read moresaid he used Akebono coated parts which are suppose to be a premium product that I've used in my other vehicle with excellent results. The following spring, with only 10k km on these rotors/pads, I started to notice brake performance decline with it not really biting and needing to apply a lot more pedal pressure to stop properly. Brought it back for Ivan to inspect. He said rotors had a lot of rust, however, they were all suppose to be coated which greatly increases the time for rust to form. So, for rust form so quickly and so severe to affect performance in just 8 months and with only 10K Km since install....that just doesn't add up and Ivan wasn't able or willing to offer anything (possible defective warranty etc) other than to resurface them for an extra $100-200. That really didn't make any difference. So, I ended up going back to my regular guru who replaced all the pads with Power Stop shortly after. Fixed it and it was 100% better. Not sure if the issue was with the parts, the installer or a bit of both. Things just didn't make much sense to me and Ivan wasn't really taking any initiative or making any effort help me other than charging extra to hopefully remedy my issues. Lesson learned...Will keep to my guru from now on.

Came here for a brake service and replacement of my power steering line and pump…read more Car came back running rough, spewing a lot of black smoke and could not reliably reach highway speeds. After two visits back at LP Europe Motorsport to try to correct the issue, they told me the problem was most likely not a result of their work. Frustrated, I took the car to another mechanic who put it on the hoist and found the issue within 10 minutes. When LP Europe Motorsport was replacing the power steering pump they damaged the turbo outlet hose which resulted in incorrect boost when the engine was calling for it. This caused the poor performance I was experiencing. In addition, the replacement of my parking brake cable resulted in lots of scratches and damage to the interior of my car. Missing plastic pieces of trim, cracked center console and plastic around the shifter that was visibly damaged. When I showed Luis this damage, he just looked at me and shrugged. I'll never go back to LP Europe Motorsport and I am incredibly disappointed with the lack of professionalism and quality of work. They simply do not care about your vehicle or your safety. I would recommend that anyone planning to take their vehicle here to seriously reconsider. Edit: Vehicle is a 2003 VW Golf TDI.

While the office is a bit run down, with faded family photos, it does adds a bit of character and part of the charm. As promised, we were in and out in about 15 mins~ and if you pay cash, you can skip taxes too. I asked for a quote for oil change and braker fluid and for sure I know the oil change is better than getting it at my dealership already. I'll definitely recommend and will likely return for my next scheduled service. Harry, who's the owner, was personable and I noticed a steady stream of customers and calls during my time there so definitely call in and make an appointment as there's no scheduling online. I believe it's a family-run shop, I think I saw his son's certification on the wall as well.

I know there was nothing wrong with it (I do all the maintenance on my other cars) and HC were honest and didn't try to charge me when there was nothing wrong. Highly recommended!
