Let me start with the four of us are from Texas and have many choices in Asian Restaurants. We found Mr. Lee's on line and was surprised with what we found. This quaint little place. The food was presented in such a picture perfect way, it invites the pallet! The flavor was only surpassed by the perfect way the food was cooked. The triple delight, chicken and steak were perfectly cooked. The shrimp was not over cooked and the sauce complimented the plate well, not over powering! The soup which started the meal was excellent. The hot & sour was full of mushrooms and vegetables ( a meal in its self) the egg drop was full of egg and the perfect match of flavor! The ambiance was very good too, many restaurants have an odd or off smell the moment you walk in but not at Mr. Lees! Our only regret is that we live too far to return to Mr. Lee's. (Weekly!!) After a long day on the road, I stopped for dinner at Mr. Lee's Restaurant, located on the east side of Littleton, serving up Chinese and Thai food. This old school restaurant has a cozy full service dining room (yellow walls) with booths and takeout service. The kitchen was very noisy with a constant pitched humming noise, which could also be heard outside. I guess you get you used to it. The menu offerings include the standard Chinese dishes, Mandarin & Szechuan dishes, Lee's Specialties and Thai dishes such as Pad Thai, Thai Chicken Curry, & Mango Chicken. 22 Lunch Specials ($4.35-$6.99) and 22 Dinner Specials ($5.50-$7.95) are also offered. For takeout, I ordered Dinner Special D3: Pork Lo Mein ($7.75) served with pork fried rice and egg roll, which was ready in about 15 minutes. The portion of hot food was very generous, as there was enough food to feed a family of 4. The lo mein dish was pretty good and tasty which had onions, sprouts, carrots, cabbage, tender roast pork strips, cooked with firm noodles and not greasy and oily. The pork fried rice (light tan color) had onions and roast pork cubes (some fat) with firm rice. The egg roll was greasy and tasty, a crispy deep fried wrapper stuffed with shredded cabbage, carrot, minced pork, & seasonings. Overall, the food was pretty good and tasty with generous portions at a good price.vThe service acceptable. I made the right call in getting takeout instead of dining in since that constant loud pitched humming noise from the kitchen was beginning to give me a headache. Great family decent food although there's been times I was told to pick up a order in 15 mins and I get there early get my food get home and it's cold! I think most is premise ahead of time and reheated ! And you can definitely tell! Also can tell when the grandmother makes the crab Ragons cause they have crab in them and are not full of cream cheese only !!! This was my first time trying this place. It was late on Sunday night so maybe that was part of the problem? But I'm not sure. The food was not tasty at all. I was so disappointed. I feel like it was boxed, frozen crab Rangoon and chicken fingers. They were so rubbery and tasteless. We finally tried it here after we quit going to Asian Garden. We took the plunge based on others reviews and ordered take out. Results? Crab rangoon was very good with a good amount of krab and cream cheese. Beef teriyaki was decent Shrimp with snow peas had a good flavor but WAY to soupy so snow peas were mushy Beef and broccoli good Pork fried rice - pork was good but it was literally plain fried rice (no carrots, peas, bean sprouts or anything else) so very bland . Weird. I would try them again but the only repeat would be the crab rangoon and beef and broccoli. And I would always take out. Many times enjoying fabulous food cooked by Mr Lin while his lovely wife waits on the tables. They have leased the property from original owner Mr Lee since early 2018. The food is better than excellent, prepped and cooked in the kitchen. One minor issue months ago was immediately corrected. Have eaten a variety of lunch, dinner, and combination specials. Oof. This seemed like a nice place, and our server was friendly, but we did not have very authentic Chinese food. It's probably safest to order Americanized dishes here. One of our party ordered the moo goo gai pan and General Tso's chicken. While they weren't amazing, they were fine. I found the hot and sour soup to be very sweet. Hot and sour and sweet. I got some sort of Cantonese style stir fried beef dish that I thought would be fine, but it had some sort of sweet flavor I didn't like. At least it was tender. Everything was cooked to order, and came out hot and fresh. So, it's not a terrible option if you're in the area and really want Chinese food, you just have to adjust your expectations. read more

This place has no flavor and way too much dough and their chicken dishes are indiscernible between each other. Spent $180on Christmas Eve takeout for 10 people which will never happen again. This food was the worst food I've ever tasted. The first bite I took was the horrendous flavorless chicken and the first thought I had was, "did I order duck?" And when I say duck I mean the rubber kind. If you like fried tortillas with a pinch of cream cheese then order the Crab Rangoon! Can't decide between dinner and dessert? Get the general tau chicken. Great Chinese restaurant. I had the lunch combination of Kung Pao Chicken and substituted Crab Rangoons for the Egg Roll. The 3 Crab Rangoons were stuffed full of cream cheese and the Kung Pao Chicken was served very hot and the portion was huge! My husband ordered the lunch combination of Moo Goo Gai Pan and Chicken Fingers. The chicken fingers are home made using large pieces of chicken dipped in tempura batter and deep fried. He said his Moo Goo Gai Pan was some of the best he's had. Hot tea is served with the meal. Each of combination plates was only $7.75. This used to be my favorite place, but not anymore. Ever since the original owners sold last year, things have gone downhill, at least to me. That is except for the prices, which have increased. Today I ordered a pu pu platter for 2 in takeout. And when did hot mustard become as expensive as printer ink? Do I really have to ask for it every time? And if so why don't I have to ask for the gallon of duck sauce they always add without my asking? Well, today's order came up with one fortune cookie. We had never ordered anything but lunch platters, and those are decent. My son asked for Mr Lee's for his birthday so we ordered entrees. Got it all the way home and discovered they don't give you rice unless you get a platter. For the money, I would expect to get steamed rice.We also got two noodle dishes and both were very over-cooked- super mushy. read more

We ordered takeout for 8 people and got a wide variety of dishes - lo mein, mu shi vegetables, Yu Shang broccoli, Kung Pao chicken, and several others as well. All were bland and mushy, with little flavor and absolutely no spice (even though several were marked as spicy). It was difficult to tell which dish was which as they all looked and tasted similar. I came to this restaurant after reading all the positive reviews of the place. I love Chinese food and would eat it all the time if I could. I went in with a positive attitude and was all smiles. I ordered the fried wontons, meatless lo mein, and the General Gau's chicken. My boyfriend ordered a variety appetizer (teriyaki beef, boneless spare ribs, chicken fingers, and chicken wings), with a main dish of chicken fingers, pork fried rice, and an egg roll. Let's first discuss the appetizers. As I know it, fried wontons means fried with SOMETHING in the middle. Usually a seasoned meat. What I got was fried wonton wrappers, which I found to be kind of weird. They were incredibly greasy. My boyfriend's teriyaki beef and boneless spare ribs were pretty much as expected, but the chicken fingers were over-breaded and over-cooked. Neither of us were terribly impressed. So I kept hoping that maybe the main dish would be better. His plate arrived first, with the same sketchy looking chicken fingers that were in the appetizer. The pork fried rice and the egg roll looked pretty normal, though. He said the pork fried rice was mediocre at best, and set aside the egg roll for later (he likes them cold). My dishes arrived second, with a MASSIVE helping of lo mein that I'm going to get three meals out of. It wasn't bad lo mein (maybe a touch too much soy sauce in it), but it's greasy too! So I set it aside, hoping that the restaurant will redeem themselves with the General Gau's chicken (which is supposedly in a spicy ginger sauce, like General Tso's). What I GOT was over-breaded, over-cooked, under-seasoned SESAME chicken. The waitress seemed like she was having a bad day, so I let it slide. She was off like a shot everytime she dropped something off at our table. I had a hard time even ordering drinks. And when she wasn't at our table, it seemed like she was always in the kitchen shouting at the cook, with him shouting back. It sounded like a pretty serious argument, but it wasn't in English, so I have no idea. We had gotten there at 11:30am. There was no one there until noon, even then, the phone only rang once and there was only one other customer. We will never be eating here again. What's sad is that we passed two nice looking Chinese restaurants and spent $46 (including tip) based on the positive reviews from the site. read more
