I figured I wouldn't be able to talk to anyone before Monday. I still called Ewin HVAC on Sunday expecting to leave a message. Rob answered after 1 ring at 8am on Sunday morning!! I couldn't believe it! He was able to squeeze in an appointment for us the very next day. Monday came and he was running a bit late. However he called and apologized prior to arriving. He stayed until 8pm that night diagnosing the problem (it was a refrigerant leak in our A/C coil) and even got us a temporary fix so we could have cool air for our newborn that same night. His prices and estimates were fair and he let me know the worst case scenario upfront. THE BEST PART was our A/C coil had just come out of manufacturer's warranty. Rob made no guarantees but promised to try to get it covered by the manufacturer anyway. Tuesday morning he called and let me know he was able to get us a brand new coil COVERED. Saved us $500-$600!! Rob did not have to do that for us but his willingness to get us the best deal made a strong and lasting impression. He then was able to get the parts needed and installed the new coil promptly a few days later. The A/C is running better than ever before and we have Rob to thank. So, it was time to shop around. Enter Buric. Booking appointments was easy, with multiple reminders including a call 15 minutes out. The technician spent over an hour documenting the system and doing maintenance tasks. The documentation took a lot of the time since he took photos of every part so the next visit the state can be compared. When he went to replace my humidifier pad, he even suggested I save money by buying them on my own and just keeping them near by. I ended up paying the premium and he left the box so I could find replacements more easily. It's great to not only switch from private equity to a locally (Columbia based) owned company, but to get better service at a better cost to boot.
