A blast from my past, it's been many many year's since visiting and let me say friendly as I remember and more. Tracy our server was awesome with drinks we ordered Korean smoked bbq wings so tender , flavorful with a Philly cheese steak hoagie and side of cheese fries covered with bacon crumbles. Eras introduced to Brain who made our meal. Kudos to him. He showed us the newest addition. Event center for comedy and music events. ( see Schedule). This place is so disappointing. While the bartenders were wonderful and we loved them, I was verbally assaulted and threatened, by a "regular" over a game of pool with multiple witnesses (including bartenders and other "regulars") who witnessed all of this and said they were sorry telling us he, "does this all the time". Me and my fiancé saw the same hateful man several minutes later back at the bar with the "bouncers" support. We were then kicked out of the establishment with their "apologies" telling us we were "welcome back any time". This isn't a safe place for women, they only protect their regulars, especially if they are men. Just go to Roosters next door. read more

Where to begin... horrible experience for so many reasons. Broken pool tables that wouldn't work- slot machines wouldn't work either. Bartender on the phone ignoring me when I was the only person at the bar. No wonder there was less than 12 people there on a Friday evening!!! read more

Bar sucks ! Bartenders are trash and smell like a cigarette... if a ash tray could talk. They served all the locals and avoided us as new customers. The security guard at the front was cool and respectful.... The 3 brawds behind the bar were disrespectful and only got a 2 dollar tip for teeth whitening strips. Glad we didnt stay long enough for the food. White castle seems like a better choice tonight due to the lack of service for 10 mins in this establishment. Went to the back to play darts, left beers while getting coins and they through our beers away.... This place fawking sucks inside and out. Very yummy. Weird little place and hard to find. But really decent! Food was surprisingly really good. Grilled cheese was excellent and I'm a connoisseur one of my favorite foods is grilled cheese. My hubby had the fajita wrap and said it was really quite delicious. Fried mushrooms and onion rings and they were filling and delicious. Pleasantly surprised! We'll come again. Cheap, simple place for beers, cocktails, cornhole and darts. It's located near the Douglass Hills and Plainview neighborhood so many locals frequent it. I stopped in for "one last beer" with a friend. The crowd was small and we were taken care of right away. Very friendly service and quick checkout when we were ready. I was at Mr. G Saturday night and my friend was falsely accused of pouring a drink on a female. He then was kicked out of the bar. I was nowhere near him when this happened, but other people we were with observed. I guess guilty by association even though I was nowhere near him when this event occurred. I tried to re-enter the establishment and was completely manhandled by the bouncers. They tore the sleeve off my shirt and look at my arm. I understand this establishment is under new ownership. Apparently an ex police officer and is trying to clean the place up, but I doubt very seriously that this type of aggressive behavior by their bouncers is the direction they were hoping to go. Just about the best wings in town. Great dry rub tender wings with an excellent buffalo sauce on the side. Friendly bartenders. This places has really kicked up its food. Going to give somebody some really strong competition. read more

I ordered their fried mushrooms. I wasn't expecting anything except mediocre bar food but it was superb. The mushrooms were not slimy but fresh and moist on each bite and the batter was delicious and crisp-- fried to perfection. So good sauce was probably uncessary I swear. It was definitely an appetizer that could be served at a top tier expensive restaurant. What was also mind blowing was I believe you got eight of them and they were huge, for only 6.25. What??!!! I'd like to add that the service was stellar. This was the second time I had walked into that bar. Both times the staff were prompt with service and very friendly. The owner was cooking back in the kitchen on this particular night so he came out and talked to us and asked us what we thought about the food, atmosphere, prices, ect. I have to say I was impressed that he genuinely cared about the products he was putting out and the service his staff were providing. You could tell. Stopped by with an in-town relative to a fairly empty establishment and wasn't greeting for a substantial 5+ minutes. The bartender walked around to other customers, re-engaging multiple times with them, before we finally acknowledged. Once their attention finally turned to us, my out of town relative was asked for an ID. Completely fair request, but that being the first thing stated after the wait at empty spot didn't bring the hospitable vibe we were after. His wallet was in the car and we decided to simply go next door after obtaining it. Customer service and sense of belonging established with an early and engaging greeting is above all; bummer that wasn't offered. read more

Very laid back and interesting spot. Not a meat market but plenty of people watching. Staff was super attentive but not in that annoying way. Came here for brief getaway and had a good time. Good food. Good people. Highly recommend. Get the wings!!! read more

The pizza here is amazing but the service is TRASH ! The servers are absolutely rude and very unprofessional... I've been to this place multiple times and each time it gets worse and worse ! Really like this place. Best Hole-In-The-Wall in the east end. Staff has always been nice and friendly. I run a monthly support group that meets at local watering holes and this is one of our favorite's! It's very dated but if your looking for a place you and your friends can go and just hang out...this is it! I have never had the food, but the rest in my group have and said it's pretty good (For bar food!). read more

Fabulous laid back and friendly establishment. Not your typical hole in the wall full of regulars that dont like to see outsiders walk through tbe door. Everyone is welcome here as long as they aren't creating negative energy or looking for drama. They have kareoke, darts and Texas holdem poker leagues. Full bar and hot food cooked to order!! Stop by have a cold one and some of the best pizza or burgers in town. I'm a newbie but I can assure you I'm a lifetime regular from here on out! Typical neighborhood bar with low lighting and beer signs all around. The beer selection is good enough. It's not a craft beer Mecca, but it's OK. I haven't tried the food or anything. I've just passed the time here a couple times. There seems to be a regular crowd that's nice enough. The staff is helpful and pleasant. I'd hang out here more if I had the time. read more

I've been to this neighborhood bar 3x the first experience was FANTASTIC-- great crowd, bar tender and HUGE beers! The following 2 time we went we intended to watch hockey, the girl behind the bar was annoyed when we sat down, had an issue with turning the game on and when we asked for sound she rolled her eyes and stated that the sound gave her a headache. Flash forward to beginning of NFL. We walk in and ONE person is sitting at the bar. Order our beer and SAME girl is snooty and rude. She turned down the game because it annoyed her. We left immediately and went to the restaurant/bar next door. Sad to say we won't be back and if you want to watch sports I hope you don't mind watching them muted. I hope that girl doesn't last because she is the sole reason we won't be coming back. Attitude and poor service is a no go for me! read more

Looked this place online to hangout with a couple friends. We love to sing karaoke and decided to come. After listening to a couple people go up and sing multiple times we decided to put our name down. The person in charge told us it was a 2-2.5 hour wait to sing when we heard the same people sing multiple times. We put our name down and the person in charge made excuses of how the songs were already chosen. If you're not a regular here. You definitely feel unwelcome. read more

Your server Cassie, bussed our table while I was still sitting there with a drink and watching my mom's drink. She didn't greet me and took my mother's drink without asking. To me, as someone who has been in customer service for over 20 years, this is unprofessional and rude. This was my second time only in this establishment and completely unacceptable. When my mother turned to ask why she was taking her drink, Cassie confronted my mother with rude comments. Again a really rude gesture from someone who is serving the public. I will definitely not be back, and my mother who frequents this establishment at least once a week, I'm advising the same. Sorry for your loss of business.
