Although it was the original owners who came up with the new name, no one could stop calling it "Chef's". But I digress, let's get to the amazing food. It is now a Chinese/fried chicken restaurant and most of the chicken menu tastes the same which is great! From the fried chicken to the fries to the roll, much of it tastes like the original recipes. Tonight's dinner included a 2-piece dark with rice dressing and a roll, and a chicken tender dinner for the kiddos. The chicken...SO flavorful with the right amount of crust. Not too thick or thin. The The rice, while it had really nice flavor to it, was quite light with little dressing. You may want to get another side of that bothers you. The fries - nothing particularly special about the cut or seasonings BUT they're so perfectly cooked that you may find yourself munching on them like crazy! And the tenders....SOOO thick, tender and juicy and well seasoned! The texture reminds me of Cane's chicken a bit. And each meal was about $5!
