We needed a new, taller toilet installed and we luckily found Hudson Plumbing. Mr. Hudson picked up…read morethe toilet for us (paid for it himself), brought it to us, installed it, checked for leaks and even installed an accessory all in little over an hour. He is an honest, dependable, competent plumber.

I just bought a house in Statesboro. It had a couple things I wanted to get looked at, and then…read moresadly unlicensed flooring installers broke some things and I had some new problems I needed looked at ASAP. One of the neighbors has a couple of rental properties in Statesboro and recommended Hudson Plumbing. Grover Hudson was great. He met with my husband who is not very mechanical. He explained each thing he was doing. Repairs seem great. We had had him check out under sinks and stuff too and under one of the sinks it looked corroded, so he replaced the J trap pipes. Before it had seemed to get damp under there, but now it doesn't. The only thing he couldn't fix was an outdoor spigot that wouldn't turn fully off and always drips. He had cleaned it out and talked to my husband about it, but it started dripping again a couple of days later. He came over and looked at it as follow up for no extra fee and phone called with me to explain the options. He explained that to replace it, he would have to chip out the brick siding to get to the connection, and then we would have to get someone to repair the siding. That sounds like a whole project, so I said no to that. He had suggested a way to rig a fix by screwing a standard part onto the end of the spigot from Lowes or Ace and explained about what to look for since my plumbing is copper and metals can bond together when wet. 3 and 1/2 percent fee to pay with credit card, so do cash or check for a better deal.
