We have ordered food from Mr. Eggroll for years!.....good food and reasonable prices. And, love having a delivery service in our little community. However, we ordered food last evening.....met the $15 minimum for "free delivery". When I was given the total for my credit card charge, something was amiss.....the price was too high. When I questioned it, I was advised of the new $3 "fuel charge". Seriously??? We are 2 miles from the restaurant!!! What a rip off.......they should NOT be advertising "free delivery". This Chinese restaurant use to be a favorite of mine. I had not been there in a few years but was totally heartbroken yesterday. I dropped in to order dinner thought I would order enough food for several days since it was almost the weekend and I love leftover Chinese food. I ordered shrimp with lobster sauce and a dish like the triple delight with pork bee and shrimp. When my entrees were ready I realized I had not ordered wings. I attempted to place an order for the wings but the man taking my order kept ringing up a higher price than what was on the menu. When I inquired about the price difference he said the menu was old and the prices had increased. Frustrated I left and did not purchase the wings since he was trying to over charge me. Once I got home and sat down to eat the beef,pork and shrimp dish was awful. The chicken and the beef in the dish were tough not tinder. My mind got the best of me and I couldn't eat the dish so I threw it out. The shrimp w/lobster looked good but the lobster sauce which generally has a thick almost gelatinous consistency had already started breaking down and was turning watery before I started to eat it. The left overs the next day was a few shrimp and vegetables in a watery base. I will never eat there again. I dont know if they changed owners cooks or both owner and cook but that food was awful. Please pay attention to the prices on the menu verses what they actually charge you. Items on the menu on line has different prices than the in store menu. read more

Just moved into a new house and while stuck at home waiting on the cable guy, (you that window of time between now and eternity) thought I would try delivery. It did get here fast, about the only good thing I can say. We ordered shrimp chow mein and shrimp lo mein. How do you mess up chow mein? Vegetables were like mush! I think one of the moving boxes would have had more flavor! Nothing about these dishes were fresh. The chow mein consisted of nothing but onions and the yellow core part of nappa cabbage. The sauce was thick and heavy, not pleasant. Even the cabbage in the eggroll was mushy like the frozen kind. I grew up on real Asian food, and this was far from it. read more

I LOVE this place! Whenever I am feeling lazy and don't want to leave my house, all I have to do is call the folks over at Mr. Eggroll and I will have a great meal at my doorstep within 40 minutes. The mongolian chicken with vegetable fried rice is my favorite meal. They also have Chinese favorites such as sweet and sour chicken/pork/shrimp, honey chicken, sesame chicken and wonderful spring rolls. Best Chinese food anywhere. It's located in a crappy shopping center and unless you're local, most people have no clue this place exists. It's actually a sit down restaurant but its always so slow that they are more known for their take out. The wait staff are very sweet people and they make everything fresh and quick. The food is outstanding and they give very generous portions. My favorite is the sesame chicken over rice. This little gem needs more recognition. read more

We order at Mr. Eggroll often since it is under new management. I have read a complaint that the prices increased. It is not that significant to us. The food is fresh and delicious. The shrimp fried rice tastes great and has some big shrimps in it, not the little cocktail shrimps other places use. It is very good food and very good service. I ordered the Teriyaki chicken, eggrolls, and shrimp fried rice. We loved it as usual and did not notice any significant increase. Even, the driver is always very good and we tip him 25% more if it is raining. read more

I can't Judge this place to bad because I haven't tried everything. However I can Judge the meal that I ordered. Sesame chicken and the teriyaki chicken appetizer. This meal I would rate at 2 stars. The sesame chicken was very greasy and was not seasoned well. I had to add season when I got home. The teriyaki chicken was pretty good but I don't think it was $5 good. The worst food and employees/owners. They make a mistake on an order and when you call to let them know and ask them to fix the error, they become quite nasty. When they deliver, the food comes cold. Again, when you call to tell them what's wrong, they are very defensive. Do not go unless you want to be treated horribly! read more

My husband placed an order to go when he arrived he told the gentleman who took his order that he came across on the phone a little rude. The guy did not apologize and proceded to get loud. The worst service ever!!! I'm on bed rest due to my pregnancy and my fiancé is at work I ordered take out. My order was very simple general cho shrimp with shrimp fried rice with soup and shrimp egg roll. I was told .50 more for the shrimp fried rice instead I got fried rice when I called to inquiry about my missing shrimp the guy insinuated I was lying and told me the shrimp should be at the bottom and to dump it out on a plate.... still no shrimp. He said he would send the driver back to get the plate of fried rice (ummm no your not getting my plate). Then a woman called me back stating she didn't hear me when I placed my order and only charged me for fried rice. First off I've never been charged extra for fried rice since it came with the meal. Needless to say I wanted proof I wasn't paying extra for something I didn't order she said she would mail my receipt. It was until I explained that I would dispute the credit card charge since I do not know what I'm being charged. They finally brought the receipt. The soup was the only good thing in the bag my shrimp tasted like sweet and sour shrimp And it was a spring roll not egg roll. Never will I order there again. I ordered dinner from here the other night and could not believe how terrible their customer service was. I ordered sweet and sour chicken to be delivered and they left out the sweet and sour sauce. I called them to let them know because I wasn't going to eat dry chicken. They said I could either wait an hour for the sauce because they were busy or take a credit on my next order. I asked them if they would be crediting the sweet and sour chicken on my next order and he told me no. He said they would give me 10% off of my next order. I explained to him that my family will not eat the sweet and sour chicken without the sauce so 10% was nothing compared to not having dinner. I told him I would wait the hour and eat what we had. An hour later he calls me back to tell me that they are not going to bring me the sauce and my only choice is to have a discount on my next order. I told him I wanted a refund and he said that was not possible because I had the chicken at my house. I told him I would bring it to them the next day for a refund and he said absolutely not because then it would be wasted. I guess he was planning to serve it to someone else because he said in order for me to get a refund I had to bring it up there that night. It was 10pm at this point and I obviously ordered delivery because I didn't want to get out of the house. All he had to do to fix the problem was to get in the car and bring me my sauce. It wasn't like I was asking for a condiment this was part of my meal! It is like delivering a pizza with no cheese on it. They refused to make it right even though I was super nice and gave them every chance to.
