Everything is always piping hot and fresh! The Thai Basil Fried Rice is always a hit - very flavorful, and PACKED with veggies. The Egg Fu Yung is also delicious, and I love that a lot of entrees come with a side of white rice. The Spring Rolls could've been crispier this go-round, but nothing the air fryer won't fix. The Chinese Donuts are a perfect sweet treat to finish a meal. As someone new to Georgia who comes from a state with very high-quality, authentic Asian food, I haven't loved the other Chinese restaurants I've tried here - Mr. Eggroll is definitely the best Chinese/Thai I've had in Georgia so far! I've been having a hard time trying to find chinese food in GA without having to go 20+ miles. I found this gem nearby my house. Although you can tell that they still cater the taste for non-asians they are fast, give huge portions, affordable and the food is actually delicious (just not what I'm used to). I came here twice last week. I tried the szechuan chicken (it was very sweet with a hint to spicy). The 2nd time I tried the princess chicken (which was suppose to be kung pao), I requested extra spicy because a few times I had kung pao and it was not as spicy. It was good. It left the right amount of spice for me. I wish both dishes had more chicken though, I felt they skimmed me on the protein but added more fillers like the veggies lol. I didn't get that awful feeling after eating here either. Also did I mention they're fast? I would place my order and I legit show up 10 minutes after and it's ready! read more

The good we ordered was general Taos chicken no flavor didn't send rice the food was cold and I cannot believe this had no flavor. Had to add soy sauce and their hot mustard to give it some flavor. I ordered through uber eats and it took over 1 1/2 hours to be delivered. What a horrible dinner I spent forty dollars on. Something changed at Mr Eggroll recently. I usually get the Orange Chicken and a Hot and Sour Soup. This time the chicken was not as flavorful as it has always been. The Hot and Sour soup has never really been good, but was even less flavorful than previously. Hot and Sour soup should be light brown and have a slightly thick texture and contain shiitake and wood ear mushrooms. This was water or watered down chicken broth with maybe 2 slices of diced cheaper mushroom. Just horrible and tasteless. Every other Chinese restaurant at which I've eaten makes at least some effort to make it right or nearly so. This is the ONLY Chinese restaurant I've seen it made like a simple broth with hardly anything in it. Go to Hong Kong Chinese nearby or elsewhere. read more

By far, the worst Chinese food we have ever had! Made the mistake of picking this place on Uber Eats last night. We ordered Hunan Beef with fried rice house wings, and an appetizer called Moneybags. Little fried dumpling like things with filling. I also ordered egg drop soup to eat today as I love to try that at different places. The beef was slimy and the sauce was not very good at all. The fried rice was super bland. No carrots or peas or anything in it. The sauce on the wings was just gross. And the wings were pretty gross too. The moneybags were strange and the filling was nasty. We literally took a few bites and just stopped. It was such a complete waste of money!! I actually threw everything away including the soup because it was so bad. Definitely DO NOT recommend!! We are still looking for a good Chinese restaurant in our area. They all seem to have just gone downhill! read more

Best Chinese food I've had in forever. 2nd night in a row and they did not disappoint!

I hadn't ate here since 2012 and back then it was not that great. Then one night recently, I didn't feel like leaving the house. Nothing outside of pizza and a few other mediocre restaurants deliver in my area. I decided to try Mr egg roll again since Yelp reviews said they were under new mgmt. that was a month ago and I have had a delivery from here every weekend. This is good food. Sesame chicken and Mongolian beef are great! Egg rolls and rice( I don't even like rice like that) and the lo mein! Thank goodness for the new mgmt or the updated recipe...whatever it was, it works. The food here is better than average. I like the salt pepper shrimp. It's delicious. I just wish there was a bit more shrimp. I've called in for delivery, but they forgot my drink....which they said would be provided to me next time. The guy taking the orders in the front is nice. The absolute worst food I've ever had the displeasure of paying for. Stranded at home, they were the only place close enough to deliver and the food ended up being inedible. The sesame chicken was greasy and had an extreme after taste, the eggrolls were literally dripping with grease and the rice was hard, as if it was old and had been reheated. The food was really good and tasted more homemade then any other Chinese restaurant around this part of town, and there are a lot of them. They were correct the best Chinese food in this part of town for sure. It was fresh and arrived hot, really impressive since they also delivered it. The egg-roll and crab won-ton was hot and crispy and some of the best I have had in the south, same with the Lemon chicken. The beef and broccoli were good a little over cooked but still fine and the chicken and veggies were also a hit. Rice noodles also very good. Soups were really good will be ordering more of those when it's cold out... The donuts were really good too, my kids favorite part... Well be ordering again. I placed my Togo order for plum beef and rice. Arrived home hungry and ready to eat... opened my food and I have pepper steak instead of plum beef. I knew when I wasn't greeted... that was a sign! I've been ordering Mr. Egg Role/Eating at the restaurant for over a year now. I usually like it bc the quality is better than most of the Chinese restaurants in the surrounding area however I'm a little disgusted at what happened to me when I ordered from them this Wednesday. I ordered a meat item and found something that it had the consistency of maybe cartilage or bone but it was something I had never tasted before. It was a little soft and I left it on my kitchen counter. It turned hard and went from brown to grey to black. I usually order their sesame chicken with shrimp fried rice and egg rolls, I like to stick to things that restaurants usually can't mess up and they didn't until I ordered their lo mein. It was horrible, like just the worst I ever had but I didn't sweat it, I just threw it away and called it a lost. Ordered to to go lunch meals. Pork lo-main and sesame chicken both with egg roll and won ton soup. Pork strips were old this was obvious because of how hard and dried out they were. The won-ton was in water honestly it all was horrible. Called Mr Eggroll to complain and was placed on hold for an excessive amount of time. Called from another line after I told the guy how bad the lunches were he said to come back and they would exchange it, I told him they could drive to my house and exchange it. He hung up me. This hole in the wall will turn you off with its strip-mall decor, but don't let that fool you. The food is always fresh and delicious. The General's chicken is excellent and I loved the crab angels. The staff is really cool and the food is always ready when you call in. I haven't tried delivery but it helps when deciding amongst all the food options in the area. read more
