Prepare yourself for anything... because you never know exactly what's awaiting for you at Mr.Ds. If you are looking for a casual atmosphere, great drinks, reasonable prices, and awsome crazy bartenders.....then check out Mr.Ds. Sunday thru Thursday you can sing Karaoke. That starts around 8pm -1am and if dancing is your cup of tea, you will want to stop in Friday or Saturday night. "Latin Spirits" performs live from 9pm -1:30am. So no matter your poison....we here at Mr.D's are looking forward to seeing you soon.

She recommended a milk punch cocktail that incorporated Sotol, which is kind of like tequila but instead of fermenting agave, it ferments Dasylirion and is made only in Chihuahua. Then she recommended a cocktail that leverages a Mexican produced corn liquor in a Negroni but with gin subbed with mezcal. Both of these cocktails are bartenders choice and not on the menu, but the fact that they can execute such innovative cocktails so we'll speaks to the level of dedication bartenders at this bar have. Renee even gave pointers as to where I might be able to buy some of the bottles they use and for a few other bars of similar caliber to visit nearby. Instead of ending my trip at Nortico as previously planned, she helped me find a really cool new bar in Tijuana! Highly recommend.

Up top it was a little crowded near the edges where everyone was taking photos, but people moved around pretty quickly so it was still easy to get some really good pictures from the rooftop. The ambiance is modern with both indoor and outdoor seating. There is a gorgeous fire pit right in the middle of the patio which gives off nice heat without making your hair smell like firewood. It's the perfect place to grab a few drinks before heading down for your dinner reservation at Mision 19 but it's not a place I would seek out just to drink at for the night. The prices are very similar to the prices you would pay for cocktails in the states. Not overly expensive, just more expensive than other drink prices in Mexico. Multiple bystanders witnessed his behavior but failed to intervene, assuming it was just "relationship drama" After the man finally left, the venue's security completely misread the situation. Instead of checking on my well-being or ensuring the aggressor had left the premises, security targeted and chased me as if I were the problem. It is incredibly disappointing and dangerous for a business's security team to lack the basic situational awareness and training required to identify the actual victim in a situation. I felt entirely unprotected by the staff here. I hope management takes this as a serious sign that their security team needs immediate retraining on bystander intervention and de-escalation, rather than harassing women who are already in vulnerable situations.

Started with the Mango Shrimp Ceviche and it was 10/10. Fresh shrimp, good flavor and balance of sweetness & citrus... but what stood out the most was their delicious fried tortillas that came with it... never had such a satisfying crunch from a tortilla! The spicy chicken sandwich was one of the best we've had in San Diego. DEFINITELY coming back for it. The tacos were mid, though. Not much flavor and the carne asada tacos didn't have much to them, meat was a bit dry and could've used more toppings or sauce of some sort. One of our blackened fish tacos came extremely close to completely raw and we sent it back. They didn't apologize or anything but just brought one fresh one that was cooked. That's the only reason for my four star rating. Our waiters were extremely nice though, I do think they are still figuring things out as we sat for twenty minutes waiting for a server because they didn't know whose table it was. It wasn't busy at all at that time. Overall, absolutely coming back for the drinks, views, and that DELISHHH chicken sandwich!!
