It was my first time coming here and was super excited to celebrate my sisters birthday. Overall was a good environment for dancing, and the cocktails were good. The thing that made this review a 2 star was because I noticed every person that took our order would automatically apply their own tip. I noticed it the first time after paying for a bucket and a round of shots, the screen said $90 + $18 tip. I thought maybe it was just that one server but as the night went on and I ordered more drinks for the table, it kept happening. All 20% tips, no matter what I ordered. Worst part is I would have probably gave a tip anyways, but this FORCED tip made me never want to come back again. read more

She absolutely nailed the Spicy Mamacitta and the El Manjoclaw. Both drinks were perfectly balanced, bold, and flavorful -- you can tell she knows her craft and takes pride in every cocktail she makes. She's one of those rare bartenders who can shift the whole energy of a room without even trying. Her personality is upbeat, welcoming, and genuinely fun--she never felt forced or over-the-top. The drinks were on point. She mixed everything with confidence and consistency, and her recommendations were spot-on. You can tell she takes pride in what she does. Celebrated my birthday at Baressito, and let me tell you! I had such a great time ! Their drinks are fire, I love that they have a variety of tequila, and their baby mango shots are my absolute favorite. The servers are super sweet, kept checking in on me and my friends, I didn't get a pic but they came out with light sparklers and a sign making me feel all special ! The variety of music is great too I love that they play it all, from hip hop to reggaeton and Banda! A spot my friends and I visit often for a good time. read more

I love this bar ! Came hungry and was able to bring food from the food truck right outside into the bar. We were celebrating a birthday and it was super busy. The service was great for them being as busy as they were. They bring a difference ambiance for third Avenue definitely party club vibes and not divey bar vibes. Wendy! I believe is a bar girl stepped on my foot while passing drinks and I pushed her of my foot and when I explained to her why I pushed her she said I don't care. And pushed me back! Security came and got kicked put! I explained why I did it and just so you know my whole toe nail is broken and purple from her weight! The place was absolutely dead on a Saturday night and the crappy little tables are $150 to reserve. This is not downtown so there is absolutely no reason to be charging an arm and a leg for rinky dink looking tables. The vibe is giving you're about to get mugged out your car is gonna get broken into in the creepy abandoned looking parking lot outside. You can't even stand at the tables and the place itself is extremely tiny. This bar is 100% trying to up charge people. read more

We chose Barresito to celebrate my birthday on Friday the 31st, and the experience was frustrating and disappointing. Before the night, I messaged their Instagram page to reserve a section for 20 people, specifically asking if they could accommodate us. They responded, stating that we would need to purchase a minimum of two $200 bottles and buckets of beer, which we agreed to. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a friendly security guard who joked around with us, which gave a good first impression. However, once inside, things quickly went downhill. A staff member pointed to our section and asked if we were ready to order. I told her we needed a minute, and she left--only to never check back for at least 15-20 minutes. Eventually, I had to go to the bar to place our order, where we were ignored for several minutes before finally getting the bartender's attention. She didn't have the best attitude but proceeded to take our order. We started with a $250 bottle, a $170 Gran Malo bottle, and two buckets of beer since half of our group hadn't arrived yet. After charging us at the bar, the bartender then closed off our original section and moved us to a much smaller space that could barely accommodate 10 people. She came back with the beers and rudely told two of my friends sitting at the edge of the section that they had to move closer in. At this point, I got up and asked why our section had been reduced when I had specifically reserved for 20 people. She told me that since I didn't order two $200 bottles, we couldn't keep the larger section. I explained that I had already purchased a $250 bottle and a $170 bottle--which, last time I checked, adds up to more than two $200 bottles--but she insisted that everything had to be ordered upfront. That policy is completely ridiculous, and what made it worse was that she never mentioned this before I placed my order. To top it off, she was the same person I had messaged on Instagram about the reservation, meaning she had every opportunity to clarify this rule beforehand. Frustrated with the poor communication and lack of professionalism, I requested a refund for the bottles and only paid for the beer we had consumed. Instead of apologizing, she simply told us we could finish our beers anywhere else in the venue. I've gotten bottle service at many clubs in downtown and have even worked at a club myself, and I have never seen a policy this dumb. Why does it matter how the bottles add up as long as the total amount is spent? On top of that, the place wasn't even busy, so the slow service and bad attitude were completely unnecessary. Overall, Barresito was unorganized, unprofessional, and lacked basic customer service. If you're going to overcharge for alcohol, the least you can do is treat your customers with respect. I would not recommend this place for any kind of celebration. read more

Absolutely horrible service, if I could put zero stars I would. Came in for a friends birthday and reserved a table with bottle service only for them to remove us from the table while our bottle was still half way full. Mind you we were not being disrespectful or messy in any way we stayed at our table and did not bother any one. The supposed reason as to why we were being removed from the table was due to it being "a 2 bottle minimum" and they had not even given us a chance to finish our first bottle to then order the second bottle. The management and servers are completely rude and unprofessional, absolutely do not know good customer service. It's a shame as prior to this we had never had an issue up until now.
