I dropped my dress off first week of February and 2 weeks later I came to pick it up and it wasn't ready for another few hours. The total for getting my dress hemmed was $80. It was a silk dress, not anything super thick or crazy. I also dry clean my work blazer, which costs about $20 and takes a week to get done. Another place I use to go to on Colonial only charges $8 for dry cleaning. The prices here are definitely higher than the average, almost double. I pay for the convenience because I am walking distance from the tailor, but if you are looking for average prices I would recommend another place.

My recent experiences have been the complete opposite of what I once respected about this business. After returning back to Florida, permanently this time .... with a bag full of dresses that needed to be dry cleaned I was required to prepay due to an incident from over five years ago when I unintentionally forgot to pick up clothing before my return back to CA. . I understand policies around unclaimed items and take responsibility for that. What I do not accept is the way this was handled. From that point forward, the treatment I received was consistently cold, dismissive, and unprofessional. I brought my clothes in multiple times after that, and every single visit carried the same unmistakable sense that I was not welcome. There was no effort to reset the relationship, no basic courtesy, and no professionalism in how a returning customer was treated. This was not a one time interaction. It was repeated behavior over multiple visits. People do forget items at cleaners. It happens. Most businesses address it, set their policy, and move on. Here, it felt punitive and personal, which is not how a professional business should operate. I paid in advance as required, complied with their (NEW) policy that they set JUST for me... , and returned in good faith more than once. The response and demeanor I received each time was the same level of cold and unwelcoming treatment. That is not acceptable in any service environment, and it is THUS the reason I will not return.
