I'm so glad this shop is there. I don't sew, but sometimes I need a tailor. They recently hemmed up a pair of pants for me and did a remarkable job. It's not cheap, but once again, I don't sew! It is worth the price! read more

So far so good. We haven't picked up our garments yet but they were very professional

I like to shop at small locally owned businesses so I thought this would be a good place. I brought two pair of jeans in to be hemmed on December 6 but I needed the to be done before leaving for the holidays. They charged me $53.07 which sounds outrageous but I needed them for my trip. The hem lasted a couple weeks. I brought them back in today thinking they would just fix their work. Seemed obvious. They actually told me it wasn't their thread and they didn't do it. The lady actually said she didn't recognize my face and I had never been there. I told her it was the first time I had been there so not surprised she didn't remember me. I showed them my credit card receipt with the date and the charge. They still said it wasn't their charge. The lady said she would re-do it at a discounted price. I said you can't be serious. They continued to speak in Chinese about the situation to which I had no idea what they were saying since I don't speak Chinese and which is also EXTREMELY RUDE! I took my jeans and left promising this review and now delivering. read more

Charlie's Tailor Shop - Failed hem - Sewing & Alterations Near Me - Ocala, Florida

I recently had 4 dresses, 2 skirts, and a jumpsuit hemmed (I'm short, that's life). The owner was wonderfully patient as I tried each piece of clothing on for them to pin them. When everything was ready, she knew EXACTLY who I was, and said "Glad we put your first initial on them. Your mom was here this week too." She helped me put everything in my car, and thanked me. read more

One needs a tailor every now and then! My boyfriend needed a leather jacket hemmed in the arms. Not all tailors do leather. They did a great job. Give about 2 weeks for your items. They are busy! read more

very terrible experience , owner was very rude and disrespectful, owner was very bothered the minute I came in to have my wedding dress altered . after 2 days I was able to have the bridal store exchange my dress and needed to get a refund from the seamstress , she was very loud and started to yell in front of other customers only refunded me half of my deposit bc of her consult and then my wedding dress was marked with markers and she refused to assist with removing . Avoid this shop at all costs , the owner is very rude with no regard at all read more

Used their services for many years. EXCELLENT WORK. She is a professional tailor. Highly recommend.

They know what they're doing! They get everything done very quickly. Always a pleasant experience!

Terrible experience... seemed like the woman didn't care or to help with my problems. Plus very expensive... 16 dollars to fix a pair of chef pants with a couple small rips. I had 5 pairs of chefs pants. I called in the morning and she rudely said "you have to bring them in" when I got there. She again was rude and said they're "too oily" and "they smell" I explained I wash them after every day I use them and yeah ... they're not perfect they're work pants but they're clean. Just need a few holes patched up ... she refused ... don't go here if your a hard working American... read more

Never ever have I experienced what I experienced at this tailor . I came in 2 weeks before the date I needed a dress fixed and suit tailored I was told that it would be done Saturday but possibly Friday I called Thursday to inquire I was told to come in that they couldn't find my articles , when entering the store the husband was yelling I told you Saturday you're wasting my time the wife told me I was rude . All when she told me to come in . They told me to take my things and snatched my original receipt long story short if you need something small it might be a good place but if you need a suit or a dress with a time frame it's not it I understand you get busy but customer service is important and if you make me drive to your store to be insulted is not ok. I attached a video of the owners yelling .. it was the wife's mistake when we came in two weeks ago he wasn't there and I believe the wife may have messed up and forgot read more

This place is amazing! My husband has brought uniform shirts and pants to them and they always to good, timely work. I brought a pair of utility work pants and they were able to bring them in 2 sizes and you can't even tell looking at the pockets or the belt loops. I brought them a dress to size down and they just looked at me in the dress, no pinning or chalking, and it fits PERFECT! I've even had them do rush orders and get clothes back within a couple of days. read more

Great little hidden gem. Quick turnaround and super affordable. They're my go to anytime I need anything repaired or altered.

Best shop in town. I have had my whole wardrobe altered due to losing weight. They did a great job.
