I needed a shirt altered (made smaller) for my daughter and found this place online. It's in a shopping center in Ocala. We went about a week before our event and they couldn't have been more helpful. The two owners both know what they're doing (they apparently do A LOT of wedding dresses and other gowns/dresses, as well as pretty much anything else you may need tailored). There are pictures all over the wall of all the dresses they've altered. I saw several people in there getting fitted. We just needed a stretchy top altered, but she did the perfect job. Not too tight, not too loose. It was ready when promised and the price was very reasonable. I will definitely go here again if I ever need any type of alterations. read more

Li saved my wedding dress. I had taken my dress to another alterations shop who cut the bottom of my dress an inch and a half Shorter than it should have been cut and the straps of my blouse wouldn't stay on me. I had a week before I was leaving for my elopement in the mountains. I was distraught so, I immediately took my dress to Li who came up with a very clever (and challenging) idea. She called me 2 days later to tell me to come try it on. It was perfect. Because of the placement of the strap no matter how short the other place had made it, it would never stay on my shoulder. Li knew this immediately and fixed it. She took apart the skirt and rearranged the top layer so that the longer sides would be in front and cover the high water base layer of the dress. Li is amazing and my fairy god mother. Just one more thing. When I walked into Li's, I immediately felt comforted. She has pictures all over her walls of glowing customers who are happy with Li's service. It was a balm to my distraught, tear stained self. read more

Very poor workmanship and service. I brought in 4 shirts to have the length reduced. She measured me with a shirt on and it was an apporiate length. When picking up the shirts they were WAY shorter than what was marked. It was such a large difference that it was obviously their mistake. When my wife brought them back they just wanted to argue with her and say it was our fault. Even the stiching line is very wavy like a total amatuer did the job. read more

They did an amazing job on my daughters wedding dress! The first round (at a major bridal retailer) was done so poorly that the store didn't think the dress could be saved. I remembered always seeing the wall of photos including wedding and prom. So we drove to Ocala and with just 2 alterations that dress looked amazing and fits like a glove. I took some men's dress shirts in for tailoring, shortening of sleeves to be exact. First of all he wouldn't shorten them from the top, which is the way every dress shirt that I've had tailored before has been done. Then he proceeded to tell me that he didn't have time to do the job in the correct way. Basically he did not want my business. Worst service ever. read more
