Well it has been over three weeks since I placed my order and I have not received my wine. They do not respond to emails either. It is obvious that they do not have the wine in stock and are searching for it. I guess I will have to dispute this on my credit card. I tried to call but could not speak to a human. It is obvious that they want to make it as difficult as possible to contact them. I have filed a dispute with my credit card company. DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH THIS OUTFIT! read more

Very bad experience. I ordered wine via their web site. They immediately charged my credit card, and then wrote to me that they actually did not have the wine I ordered, but would I be willing to let them keep my money and order a different wine? I wrote back asking for a full refund. Never heard anything back, ever. I had to dispute the charge on my credit card to get my money back. If I could give zero stars I would. The Better Business Bureau has a 1-star rating for them (very poor), with many complaints exactly the same as mine: keep the money, don't ship wine, and don't respond to customers when they ask for their money back. read more

Mr. D Wine has an incredible selection of wonderful and sometimes very difficult to find wines and spirits and their prices are very fair. My only issue is is that it can sometimes take a few months to receive them so if you're looking for something specific for within a certain timeframe? Well, plan well ahead or you will be disappointed. This is where to order for when you want to have a particular bottle to simply have on hand and then plan your dinner or party or whatever for when it actually arrives. read more

Something in their management or operations has clearly changed. I used to visit these venues frequently, but one night I was abruptly escorted out with no explanation or reason given. I later learned from others that if you're not constantly purchasing drinks, they will single you out and ask you to leave. I'm not a big drinker--but had I been treated with respect, I would have gladly made full dinner nights out of it there. On previous visits, security staff would oddly sit next to me and ask if I was "okay," as if something was wrong, despite there being no issue. On another occasion, I was told to leave without any explanation whatsoever. I am a well-dressed, respectful, and well-groomed individual, and the only apparent reason for this treatment was that I wasn't repeatedly buying overpriced drinks or reserving a table. Staff constantly watch and patrol the venue, which creates an uncomfortable atmosphere and discourages guests from ordering at their own pace. This made me feel unwelcome and pressured rather than relaxed. Additionally, having worked closely with city code compliance in the past, I can say that the hallway connecting Sugar and Tea Room appears too narrow during their over-capacity weekend nights, creating a potential fire hazard in the event of an emergency. I'm not sure whether the city or fire department has been made aware of this. I am a reasonable and respectful person and would not have posted this review if management had simply provided an explanation or apology after I reached out privately. I received an initial response stating they would follow up, but no further communication ever came. Brickell now offers many better options, and I've been treated far better at other venues. Until I receive an apology and a genuine welcome back, I see no reason to remove this review or return.

It tasted pretty healthy, but probably not something I would order again.

After much searching I found this site which was the only one that carried the particular maker and shipped in the United States. Although the exact wine wasn't found, a very close comparison was. Ordered once got it, great experience. Reordered and double the amount. Took about two weeks after paying to get it shipped. Paid for it in advance. Never received the order. Fedex said they delivered it but never got it. Asked for a refund. Paid $117.00 plus, was told Fedex refused the claim and only refunded $60.00. I claimed it was not my fault and I wanted a full refund. Have not received or any explanation. Will not buy again!!!!! Crooks!! read more

Great experience with Mr. D. The particular wine I was looking for is really difficult to find and no local stores carry it. I was happy to find it here and ordered a full case to ship. The shipping fees were really reasonable and they shipped my order out really quickly, kept me informed of the order progress, etc. My order arrived in perfect shape, packaging was excellent, and the wine was excellent.
