TL;DR/The Short Version: Casual Korean eatery. Great combos…read morewith lots of variety. Everything was tasty. The Long Version: My husband and I went here for lunch. I got the fried chicken combo ($16.99) and my husband got the beef combo ($16.99). We requested no sesame seeds for our food and they accommodated by not sprinkling sesame seeds on the rice, japchae or beef, but they forgot that one of the fried chicken sauces has sesame seeds in it, so I had to give my husband that piece. We were going to share anyway, so it wasn't a big deal for me. The Fried Chicken Combo came with 3 pieces of fried chicken, each one a different flavour: original, sweet and spicy, and soy garlic. The sweet and spicy sauce has sesame seeds in it. Since I can't eat sesame seeds but can tolerate slight contamination, I didn't bring it up and just gave that piece to my husband. Although in retrospect I should have alerted them for them to be more aware for someone else who might have a more severe issue. Both combos came with japchae, rice, 2 dumplings, and coleslaw. The fried chicken was crispy on the outside and tender and juicy on the inside. It was great. I liked both the original and the soy garlic. Hubby liked the sweet and spicy. The beef was tender and flavourful. And I liked that it was lean meat and not gristly. The dumplings were deep-fried and had pork and vegetables in it. The rice was nicely steamed and slightly sticky which I liked. The japchae was flavourful and had shiitake mushrooms, carrots, bell peppers and onions in it. It was little too oily for my preference, but I still enjoyed it. The combos also came with a can of soda or a bottle of water. My husband got a Coca Cola and I got a bottle of water, which I took to go to drink during my shopping adventures after lunch, since we were given tap water with our meal. Service was courteous and efficient. Lots of indoor seating with televisions playing K-pop music videos in the dining room. The restaurant is down a flight of stairs, so might be a problem for those with mobility issues. Review #18 (2025)

But like harveys and subway you had what you want. i had a poutine and it was very good. The fact that it's a company from here ( company from Joliette Québec!) is a plus as i try not to buy anything from USA.

Totally customizable to get exactly what you want. I love the Hercules chicken and bulgur wheat. My partner is a big fan of BBQ fusion chicken. The cilantro lime sauce is so flavourful, the vegetables are beautiful and fresh. This is a staple in our house!

When I arrived, there was a short line, and as soon as I walked inside, the incredible aroma of rotisserie chicken filled the room. That's when I knew I was in for something special. I was told to order the wet hot chicken plate, so I did--and it absolutely did not disappoint. I also couldn't resist trying the famous chicken poutine. The flavors were bold, rich, and incredibly satisfying. The portions were enormous, too; there was easily enough food for several meals. Before leaving, I picked up a small homemade tres leches tart for dessert. It was the perfect ending to the meal. The cake was moist and delicious, and the caramelized burnt sugar on top added an amazing flavor and texture. I honestly wish Ma Poule Mouillée had a location in Detroit because this would become my monthly dinner spot without question. This place is the definition of "winner, winner, chicken dinner." If you're visiting Montreal, don't miss it--you'll leave full, happy, and already thinking about your next visit.

This has been a favorite Montreal spot of mine for over a decade. The last time I was in Montreal,…read morethese guys had fire and I was afraid they wouldn't reopen. I'm so glad they did and still just as good as always. We ordered the chicken legs, the poutine, and pastel de nata. The ordering can be a bit confusing as it's not clear what line is which. So the move is your line up and order by the cooks in front then move to the back to pay at the cashier. The portions are large and even the small poutine can feed a family. I lived the spicy chicken and pastel de nata. The poutine was good but didn't need the sausage. Overall very happy we revisited and that they're still amazing.
