I am a big fan of Mr Chem Dry, today they were 45 minutes late but called to tell me in advance. They did a great job on the carpet, stairs, and the big rug in the great room. Other companies want to pressure me into buying things I don't need or want. They consistently do a great job and I have used them for years. Sorry that others have had a bad experience with them. Last month I got this service for my old townhouse .... I raised a a new puppy in this townhome and he was stubborn peed everywhere .... this company came in cleaned the carpets and oh my gosh left them clean and got rid of the smell I was blown away .... I mean blown away so much to the point that I couldn't believe they actually got the stains and smell out !!! And I mean got it out .... now I recommend this to to everyone the service was prompt the guy who cleaned in was very kind and he took care of everything so well ... now it was expensive but with the service and quality they provided I will use them again and again any time I need ! I had a tech name Josh come out to my home to clean out my carpets. He was 10 minutes early because he wanted to address the situation. Initially there were some scheduling issues and ended up having to push the appointment back a day. Things like this happen however so it's important to understand that. They were super polite and compensated for my troubles which was great appreciated. They did a great job on my carpet and stairs. Looks amazing! I paid 264.95 for 2 bedrooms and a hallway to be cleaned using their pet urine removal product. The tech only did one room completely. The worst part was within 36 hours the smell in the carpet was back and even stronger than it was before the cleaning was done. Our carpet is new too. We just built our home and moved in at the end of December. I will never use this company again. For the price I paid, I absolutely expected more. I'd like my money back honestly, but I can't get anyone to return my phone calls. read more

The owner is unprofessional and ignorant. His own employee told me it was their mistake and he still won't confess. They came ruined my rugs and then told me it was the pet urine... That's why I called them in the first place. Owner is a dumbass and doesn't know how to handle business. His own employee told me they messed up... i'm not worried, I have a recording of it. All it did was suction up dirt & dust. It was a very light cleaning & after it was dry it looked almost the same as when I ran the vacuum over it myself. I informed the cleaner that I just had the house painted & he still scraped over the wall with the rubber hose. It had to be touched up. They do not put any spot cleaner down unless you want to pay $40.00 on top of the $200.00 it cost me. I came in after it was dry & spot cleaned it myself. Would NOT get Mr. ChemDry another call for any carpet cleaning. read more

Great company to work with! I called to see how much it would cost to have a love seat cleaned. Price was good compared to the other companies I had previously called. It was quick and easy to make an appointment. Scott cleaned the couch and did a fabulous job! Food stains and water marks (from me trying to clean it) are now no where to be seen! Josh came out from Mr. Chem Dry and cleaned my carpets. He was very professional and did a great job. He got out a rust stain. He willing went over my carpets and stairs 3 times (because I asked him too. I knew the carpets were really dirty). I have pets and there is no smell or odor from where they might have marked the carpets. The machine used scrubs the carpets as well as extracts the solution - the carpets look beautiful. Scott cleaned my carpets and did an awesome job! I am really pleased with the results and how nice and professional he was!

I charged the cleaning to my credit card, I was charged by the store, and then 6 days later charged by Home Depot for the same amount. When I saw the charge for Home Depot, I thought someone had stolen my credit card number and so I called the bank and cancelled my card and report the fraudulent charge. After investigation I discovered the charge was from Mr. Chem Dry, as their business is sometimes operated through Home Depot. I called the secretary at Mr. Chem Dry and she said she caught the mistake yesterday, and it will be reimbursed to my account. I asked her why she didn't call me to warn me that there would be a mistake showing on my account, she had no explanation. The next day I was able to reach the Store Manager/owner. He was unapologetic and said that it was my fault I had to cancel my cards because I should have noticed that the charges were for the same amount though a week apart and listed under different companies. I tried calling the corporate offices to inform the manner in which this manager had treated me. I finally was able to speak to someone that said she would call the manager and investigate the matter and call me back. She never called me back. The money was returned 4 days later to my account. I would never recommend this company to anyone, clearly they do not care about their customers. read more

arrived right on time, did good work, stains on carpet gone, dried quickly, will call them next time I need carpet cleaning.

Major problems with this company. I had used them for years and then had my tile cleaned. A young man (about 20) came out to do and he was unable to unscrew the hoses to the washer so he just pulled on it until he almost pulled it out of the wall. He did tell me what he had done. I called the company and Gary (the manager?) said he would call a plumber however he showed up to "patch it" (he used that word). I had no idea he didn't know what he was doing. Several weeks later I heard water gushing from somewhere--I went to the laundry are on the main floor and my floors were flooded (new wood floors in the kitchen, bathroom) and water had leaked through to the basement ceiling and the paint and sheetrock were falling off. Thank God I was home. I called a real plumber and he repaired it, telling me that the patch job done by Gary to save money would cost me $493 in parts and labor. I called Gary at Chem Dry immediately--he said he would talk to Darryl and get back to me--I told him you can trade me carpet cleaning, pay me for the repair or we could go to small claims court. He NEVER CALLED BACK DESPITE REPEATED (the latest one 2 weeks ago) PH0NE CALLS FROM ME. Every time the receptionist said she knew about the issue and had given Gary my messages. I have told everyone I know not to use the company, and will not begin posting this on social media to protect others. I am notifying the better business bureau. I started using Darryl (and Chem Dry) when he first went into business and used them regularly in 3 different homes over at least 25 years. I am sorry to have the relationship end this way--0ne employee not following through and keeping his word really was a disappointment. If he worked for me, I would have fired Gary. Please do not use this company. read more

I'd say this company provides a pretty shoddy service. The young man was scheduled to start at 5 pm, he called me at work wanting to start at 3:30 when no one was home. I said I'd compromise and he could start at 4:30. He came knocking just as my wife got home at 3:45 - what about this did he not understand? He said he was done with his other jobs early - I figure he did a shoddy job on those too, rushed, and got done early. My wife made him wait in the driveway until she was ready. He pre-sprayed the carpet in the dirty areas which I OK'd, but he got pre-spray all over the furniture which I will have to clean off. The pre-spray left a nasty residue where it was sprayed on the carpet - some greasy chemical - I had to use our carpet cleaner with clean water to try and remove some of it. I don't think it's right that the carpet got a little cleaner, but the rest of the house got much dirtier - dirty footprints everywhere. Did I say pretty shoddy workmanship?? The estimate, which I got from their website app was about $30 lower than the actual bill not counting the pre-spray which was $40 - I entered everything into the app correctly, even the number of stairs which I was charged extra for at the end. I called their receptionist who said would have the manager call me on Monday. We'll, no phone call from the manager after two days. I guess I will not be using these guys again. read more
