They have the best tacos. The flan is great. Elgin has many good Mexican restaurants, but this is great

This is meant to be your crazy expensive birthday bash or celebration, not an every day place. We are lucky to have a gem like this in Schaumburg with very busy servers who try their absolute best to give you a flashy service with delicious food. Are you seriously expecting this to be $50 meal for four? No way. There are many places you can get the same thing. Every time I've gone here, I've spent good money that I worked hard for, and have had great memories in the process. If you're expecting a simple Mexican restaurant, this is not your place. This is high end and very busy. Make a reservation, call in advance to make sure it's set. OpenTable is used by many restaurants, so you can't blame this restaurant for OpenTable's mistakes. The Los Tres Huastecos was PHENOMENAL. The Camarones Calavera was really fun to watch, experience, and eat. I don't drink, but my family loved their flashy drinks (the Deseo was their favorite). They made sure my father felt special on his birthday with a sash, a custom menu (which we requested for in advance with our reservation), and most servers took a moment to say happy birthday even when they weren't serving our table!! Chris was a fantastic server who despite being very busy, did a wonderful job with his service. I won't defend a place for no reason; I truly had a wonderful time that deserves its praise. I research everywhere I go, so obviously when my paycheck hasn't cleared, I'm not going here. But you also wouldn't go to Fogo De Chao or Hell's Kitchen and expect it to be as cheap as my burger at a Chili's (which I love as well). (Also for the comments about the guac, I do agree, but I've also seen the same size portion at other chains for the same price. *cough* south of the boarder *cough*)

They offer these fun drink packages with sparklers and a whole crew coming out to hype you up--it's honestly such a cool touch and makes the night feel extra special. Just a heads up, it does get pretty loud--but in a good way. The music, energy, and overall vibe really bring the place to life, so if you're into that lively atmosphere, you'll love it. We went all in and ordered one of the giant shareable drinks for our group of six. It was definitely worth it for the experience, though a bit light on alcohol given the size. Pro tip: order a round of shots too--they serve them in this awesome airplane presentation, which just adds to the fun. Food-wise, everything was really solid. The octopus was a standout--perfectly cooked and super flavorful. The only letdown was the salmon; the portion felt a bit small for an entrée. Overall, great vibes, fun presentation, and a perfect place to celebrate with a group. Would definitely go back for another occasion.

They had a wide variety of tacos flavors from classics to signature flavors. They also had 5 veggie options! My husband and I knew we had to order their new "soft serve margarita". They had strawberry, mango, or swirl flavors. We got the swirl and it was presented with a Tajin rim and fruit garnish. Although it lists it had alcohol in it, it definitely just tasted like ice cream. Still delicious! For food, I got 2 ground beef tacos and the Chili Potato taco. I loved the ground beef flavor but the chili potato was a bit spicy for me. My husband got the Signature, Birria, and Chicken Tikka tacos. The Signature was by far his favorite followed by the Birria. The Chicken Tikka taco was ok. We arrived when there was a lull in busyness but staff seemed a bit flustered. We had to correct the woman working the cash register twice as she was punching in the wrong flavors. When our food came, we were offered the wrong order twice as well as I got the wrong toppings on mine. One gentleman was quick to step in and correct the situation. We got our correct orders and they gave the two wrong tacos to us complimentary. Overall, this is a great fast casual Mexican spot. I like that you can visit multiple times and still have new items to try.

Our tacos, enchiladas, soups, and churros came to us piping hot and well-presented. I wouldn't say that the food was bursting with flavor, but yummy nonetheless. Chips and salsa were fresh. I helped my father and my stepmother get their new iPhones at the T-Mobile next door and so they treated me and my daughter to dinner at Casa Tequilas! My stepmother said the fried tilapia was the best thing on the menu, so I ordered it and was absolutely shocked at the quality and portion (see photos below). The fish was fried perfectly, the accompanying sides were delicious and it was well worth the price. The service was great and the other dishes were well enjoyed too... my father got a burger (I know, not very Mexican) and my daughter got the chicken fingers. Both their plates were empty. Service was great and attentive and the ambience in the restaurant was warm and festive. It is hard to believe this used to be a pizza joint!

Every time I have been here the place is full. Their drinks are fun. For the designated drivers and angry drunks, I've been told that most all of their signature cocktails can be made into mocktails, so you won't miss out. Their food is delicious. They have a great menu and present food well, considering this is a party bar atmosphere. Not singling out this place, but I agree with the many who complain that street tacos should not be inflated from $2 to $6, just because they are popular now. When it comes to tacos, No Manches saves itself because they have many specialty versions, like ribeye, pork belly, and even cod. In every visit, many people check in on us to make sure we're doing okay, much appreciated. Also, their salsa verde is the best of all three salsas, try to fight me on that.
